"Bartolomeo-san was defeated so easily, should we go tell Senior Sister Desire about this?" One of the men spoke anxiously while looking at the person who had been struck by Ann with lightning.

The man then explained to her that the seas around Loguetown sometimes have fish from other seas possibly due to the ocean currents as they were near the Grand Line.

Later, some other fishermen fished up a giant fish.

The man then explained that the giant fish in front of them was a Blue-Finned Elephant Tuna after Sanju asked him what that weird fish was.

Afterwards, he revealed to Sanju that it normally could only be found in the South Blue.

when Sanju offered to buy it, fishermen told the cook that the fish would serve as a prize for the Cooking Championship.

"When does the Cooking Championship start?"In the beginning, Sanju was not planning to participate in the Cooking Championship, but she will definitely participate now in order to get the giant fish.

"The Cooking Championship will start now." The man who was talking to Sanju earlier smiled.

After that, everyone turn to the cooking Championship site.

When Carmen saw Sanju at the cooking Championship site, then she started laughing, "Sanju, I'm the one who will win the cooking Championship and become the number one cook."

And then she laughed at Sanju for not running away.

Sanju ignored Carmen and spoke to Makino, "Do you want to participate?"

"No, I'll just watch." Makino smiled sweetly, as there is no point in participating because she knows Sanju's winning percentage is 100%.

After that, Sanju went to register for the cooking Championship, and minutes later the cooking Championship started.

Afterwards, Carmen defeated three chefs consecutively in the contest and advanced to the finals where she faced off against Sanju.

When the match began, Carmen began showing off her fancy knife work while her apprentices attempted to distract Sanju. Seeing as how she was not distracted, Carmen became slightly perturbed.

Furthermore, she became surprised when Sanju started speeding up. In response, Carmen wrapped up her own cooking and laid out the plates for her dishes.

Sanju and Carmen finished preparing the food and serving the dishes to the judges, and the judges tasted the dishes while Carmen tasted Sanju's dishes.

Right when the judges were about to declare the winner to be Sanju, Carmen stopped them from continuing and got up from her seat.

She then walked towards Sanju and exclaimed how she had wanted to be on the same level as her ever since seeing her ten years ago and could not forgive herself for being stupid enough to believe that she could defeat her.

Afterwards, she congratulated her on her win and complimented on how delicious her dishes were.

"Your dishes are delicious too, you are a good cook too." Sanju smiled when Carmen admitted defeat in front of her.

"How about we learn to cook together? We will compete with each other every day to improve our cooking." Carmen shook Sanju's hand with an excited smile, even though Sanju is her rival but she also admires her.

"I don't think we can do that, I'm going to the Grand Line." Sanju sighed and then spoke seriously.

Carmen was shocked upon hearing this and then a determined expression appeared on her face, "I'll go with you, there must be many great ingredients for cooking in the Grand Line."

"Carmen-sama, you must be joking. The Grand Line is too dangerous a place for ordinary humans like us to go there." Her apprentices said worriedly and frightened.

Carmen did not listen to her apprentices and kept looking at Sanju.

"I am a member of a pirate crew, are you sure you want to go with me?" Sanju takes out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, lit a cigarette and looked at Carmen seriously while smoking.

Astonishment appeared on Carmen's face but after a moment she showed a resolute expression and said without hesitation, "I want to go with you."
