One piece: The Mob's Diary

Rell, a random guy from Earth, one day reincarnated into One Piece world after his death and became the small baby of a couple living in Loguetown. However, unlike most reincarnation stories, his life was pretty normal and average after that. No abnormal powers, no super talent in anything, no advantage over others... Nothing. There were no problems coming one after another, as reincarnators tend to have, and most of what happened around the world barely even affected him or his family. He was just another normal boy from Loguetown. Albeit, with the memories of an adult whom, you would say, knew about the future. That, however, was only until he became 8 years old, and a strange screen appeared in front of him. [Diary's System Activated! Write anything you want in your new digital diary, and you will be rewarded with special rewards depending on how important what you write in here is!] At that moment, Rell didn't really care all that much about the weirdness of his system. He was more focused on the free rewards other than anything. However, it was several years later that he finally noticed that something was wrong and that it probably was all his fault. "What in the world happened to the story?!" Some people say that diaries are a private thing. However, his system certainly didn't share that opinion ... °°° (A/N: The illustration of Nami is made by ᑕᕼᗩḰᕮ. -Yawn...-

Waking up slowly from my sleep, I rubbed my eyes groggily while letting out a long yawn and immediately sat on my bed, trying to make myself wake up entirely from my still drowsy state.

-Groan...-

"What time is it...?"

Groaning slightly as I stretched my limbs and looked around my room not knowing what time it was, I let out a tired sigh, before soon I stood up from bed and started putting on some clothes. Throwing my pajamas away without caring about where they landed.

Then, walking out of my room, I entered the bathroom and started doing my... Ehem... Necessities.

As the cascade of golden liquid flowed down from the mighty dragon, I closed my eyes and began pondering what I should do today.

'Wait, did I get a Deja Vu? Strange...'

Tilting my head in confusion as the strange feeling assaulted me, I shook my head to shake that feeling off and sighed as I waited for my ding dong to finish doing its job.

It was then, that suddenly a voice appeared in my head, and made me shudder in surprise for a brief second.

[Good morning host]

"Ah... Damn, it's you... right. You appeared yesterday, I had already forgotten"

[Yes host. Are you going to write something immediately?]

"Chillax pal, I still need to think about what I need to write... It has been 9 years since I arrived at this place, and my memory of the original work is getting blurry. It's going to take a while to remember anything entirely"

[I understand. You can summon the diary at any place and moment that you want. You just need to tell me, and I will give it to you]

"Alright, alright... Now get the fuck out of wherever you are. I don't like to have someone to talk to me while I'm peeing"

[My apologies]

"-Sigh...- The disrespect here is enormous"

...

"..."

...

"Hey, you still there?"

[Yes host, what do you need?]

"Get the fuck out!"

A few hours later...

...

"It's something bothering you, Rell?"

"Yeah, you have been in the clouds the whole morning"

"Ah, no, I was just thinking what game I should play today..."

"Is that so? Why don't you go and play with the other kids the-"

"I'm going to my room"

"Come on Rell, we were just joking... Though, if you actually want to go and play with the other kids, then we weren't"

"I don't wanna"

"Then we were joking"

"-Sigh...- I'm going to my room anyways... Call me when it's time to eat"

-Click-

After closing the door behind me, I let out a tired sigh as I shook my head briefly, before then I walked towards the desk and called out the system in order to begin writing something.

I still wasn't sure about what I should write, but something should come to my mind once I have the Diary in front of me. So, ignoring the memory problems that I was having remembering the original work, I sat on the chair at the desk, before then the Diary appeared in front of me and opened automatically for me to begin writing.

Honestly, it was a pretty surprising view. However, considering everything that had been happening recently had been more than surprising, I couldn't help but ignore the magical functioning of the book in front of me, and instead just began pondering with a frown on my face about what I should write.

'I wrote about... What did I write about yesterday? Ah, right... I wrote about Ace's death..'

Humming in a bad mood as I tried to remember anything about one piece, I then frowned slightly when I noticed that no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't recall things correctly.

Either because they were really ambiguous memories (Like for example the memory of Luffy fighting against Enel, which I barely remembered from the scene of Luffy punching him with a giant ball of gold and because Luffy was his counter) or because I didn't know if those memories were really true, or some kind of Mandela effect that my brain had changed without me noticing (like for example, I remember that Luffy fought against Arlong at Nami's island, but I remember that he almost lost... Now, I don't know if the fight really went that way, or if I remember it like that because when I was starting to watch the series I just felt like the arc was dragging for too long)

Thus, I didn't want to write incorrect information either. So I took quite a long time thinking about what I should write.

'Shit... Alright... My memory is worse than I expected...'

-Tack-

-Tack-

-Tack-

-Sigh...-

Gently bumping my head on the table as I tried to remember anything, I sighed in exasperation, before then I shook my head and looked at the Diary with a lazy expression.

'I'm overthinking things. I was talking about Ace's death yesterday, right? Then, let's try to think of anything related to that... It doesn't really matter if it's important information or not, surely I will be able to remember the really important information on another day...'

Placing my pencil on my lip, I looked at the ceiling for a few seconds in contemplation, before suddenly my expression brightened up as an idea came to my mind.

'That's right, there was Blackbeard as well, right? I forgot about that guy...'

Smiling slightly, I moved my hands toward the Diary and prepared to write.

Maybe I should just complement the information I wrote yesterday with the motives of why Ace was captured... Which was because Blackbeard defeated him and handed him to the Marines... Right...? Wait, why did Ace fight him again?'

Racking up my brain, I then widened my eyes in surprise, as a certain memory flashed through my mind.

'That's right, that guy killed a crewmember so that he could eat a devil fruit... Probably... Anyway, it's great news! now I got something to work on today!'

Smiling satisfied, I fixed my position on the chair and immediately began to write.

Hopefully, something amazing would appear again today once I finished writing.

In the middle of the sea, at Whitebeard's ship...

...

Sitting calmly on his throne as he looked at a shabby book in his hands with a curious look in his eyes, Whitebeard could be seen surrounded by his crew, who also had shabby books similar to Whitebeard's in their hands as they looked at their Captain with an expectant expression on their faces. Apparently, wanting to know what the books were.

"What a strange thing... I never saw anything like this during my many years alive... No matter how far away I throw it, or how much I damage it, it just reappears right in front of me completely unscratched... And even after a day passed, it's still here"

"Pops, do you understand anything that appears in this shabby book?"

"... As far as it seems, it's some kind of record that someone wrote. However, nothing that appears here has ever happened... And what's more, there's only one page written... Gurarararara, maybe it's some kind of story that some fan of our crew created, but that they got bored of writing right after the first page..."

Laughing loudly as he massaged his chin in contemplation, Whitebeard raised an eyebrow, before suddenly a voice called out to him amidst the crowd, and made him turn to look at the person that had talked.

"But why do each one of us have one? It's as if whoever wrote it wants each one of us to read it, and made several copies of it just so that every one of us could have one"

"Hmm... no idea. But as far as I know, this can very well be the work of a Devil Fruit user... So don't mind it too much. Maybe this Ace is the one behind everything. However, we will not know until we meet him... Anyway, just continue the course, there's no need to alter our destination just because of a small thing like this..."

As Whitebeard's curious expression turned into a disinterested one, he placed the book on his armchair, under his arm, and then looked towards his crew.

However, as he was just about to begin giving orders, one of the people there yelled in shock, as all the others looked at him in confusion.

"P-Pops!! Look at the book, something it's happening to it!"

"Hmm?"

Hearing him, Whitebeard raised an eyebrow, before he then picked up the book again and opened it to the first page.

And once he did, his eyes widened slightly in surprise.

On it, out of nowhere, letters began appearing as if someone was actually writing it in real time!

{Delving more onto the topic of Portgas D. Ace being executed, it is important to know why, and, how exactly was he captured despite being the commander of Whitebeard's second division.

He, as a person carrying an important responsibility among Whitebeard's crew, decided on his own to go on a mission to capture and punish his old crew member, Marshall D. Teach, that had committed the crime of killing one of their crew members in order to obtain a Devil Fruit. Unfortunately, he failed during his mission, and after their combat that ended in the victory of Teach, he was later handed to the Marines in order to be executed because of several reasons.

It is also to be noted, that Marshall D. Teach (Or Blackbeard, as he called himself after becoming an Emperor), was also the killer of Whitebeard, as he struck him once Whitebeard was in his weakest state and extinguished his life for good at that moment}

"..."

""...""

As all of the people finished reading what was there, they slowly turned to look at a certain man with black hair standing amidst them and began staring at him strangely. Not knowing exactly how to react to what the book had said.

However, as if he had not cared in the slightest about what he had just read, Whitebeard stomped his feet fiercely on the ground and gathered everyone's attention once more.

"What are you all doing? Don't believe this book so easily... Nothing it has said until now makes any sense, and neither does this! Teach, don't worry. This book won't make us turn our back on you"

"Old man..."

Hearing Whitebeard, the man of black hair from before smiled slightly as he looked at him before the crew around him smiled too and began laughing. Easing a lot the atmosphere that the book had left behind.

However, without them noticing, at that moment the seed of doubt was planted in their hearts... And later on, it would sprout on its own...

Back to Rell...

...

"Huff... Writing like this is mentally exhausting... Well, whatever, I'm done. Let that reward come!"

[Yes, Host]

Hearing the system agree, Rell smiled slightly as he placed the Diary aside, and soon, the same roulette from yesterday appeared, and immediately began spinning at an enormous speed.

It took a few seconds for it to finally stop. However, once it did, Rell widened his eyes as he glanced at the object that he had acquired with shock in his expression.

"This is...!"

[Surprising]
