“Secondary Mission”

At Bokuden's house, Yamamoto had already finished telling the story of why they ended up on this island and why they wanted to stay there. Bokuden agreed without much hesitation, letting them stay here as long as they wanted.

The archaeologists were happy for the affirmation, but before they could leave to start moving the books and so on, Bokuden stopped them and began to tell them the history of this island. Out of politeness and some curiosity Yamamoto decided to listen to the story for a few more minutes.

Bokuden began by telling that underneath the Warship Island or as he calls it the Millennium Island, there is a Lost Island that rises every thousand years. On this lost island, which was the ancient home of Bokuden's ancestors, lived a race of dragons known as sennenryu or millennial dragons that could live to be a thousand years old.

Now this race of dragons is scattered all over the world and will only return when Lost Island re-emerges to die in their native home.

Given this information Yamamoto understood all the ancient statues that had the shapes of these dragons, he also began to have some slight suspicions of the marines' objective and why they captured Apis, most likely it has something to do with this. And as it is the world of One Piece, it is most likely true that these dragons that live a millennium exist.

With this information, Yamamoto was now ready to leave to start the move and finally complete the mission, but Bokuden went on to tell more history about Lost Island, "The first king of Lost Island was Iscardunk, among his descendants was Pokeportes, who had 3 sons: Bokehontas, Bokebonboko, and Bokebokepon."

"Pokeportes sent them on a dangerous mission to search for the tree containing stars in the Dragon Valley. The three sons bravely set out to find this valley" continued Bokuden telling the story.

"..." Yamamoto, Olvia, and the others looked at Bokuden in disbelief that he would tell them the story of over a thousand years of the lost island from the beginning of its history.

Time passed and Bokuden would not shut up, "The 316th generation of Iscardunk's family gave birth to Ingrimongri III, whose son, Ingrigrimori, belonging to the 317th generation and a descendant of the 316th generation of Iscardunk, was said to have become a great ruler. He had eighteen sons."

In a moment, Olvia, Clover, and all the other archaeologists fell asleep from the boredom of these stories, even Bokuden himself fell asleep in a moment, Yamamoto who was about to close his eyes, seeing this opportunity seized it and left the house.

*Damn old man, how does he know all the history of that island that he doesn't even know if it exists?* thought Yamamoto while scratching his eyes to wake up. He had noticed that Apis and Robin were not in the room, they most likely escaped a long time ago, thanks to Apis predicting this situation.

"Well ¿where could they have gone...?" whispered Yamamoto as he looked at the ground and noticed some small footprints he decided to start following them. First, he decided to look for Robin and Apis, as he was curious as to why the marines had captured the latter.

In the cave were Apis and Robin who were keeping the sick Ryu company, and Apis was giving him something to eat that he managed to grab from home before leaving.

"Mm How will we get him there?" asked Apis as she put her finger on her chin and thought of a way to get Ryu to his home island.

Robin was silent for a few seconds thinking of a solution, "Mm we can ask Grandpa Yamamoto for help he's strong" she replied with the only solution she could think of.

"I don't know..." said Apis with some hesitation, she was afraid that the adults would be like the marines who captured her.

Noticing Apis' hesitation, Robin asked, "Did the marines who captured you do it to find Ryu?".

"What! How did you figure that out?" asked Apis with a surprised face, as if it was something she hid very well, "Well you're not very hard to read" replied Robin.

Ever since Apis came to their ship, she always changed the subject when Olvia or someone else asked her about why she was captured, and now seeing Ryu it wasn't too hard to know the reason behind her capture.

"Don't think that Grandpa Yamamoto is like those marines, he defeated them easily" Robin said trying to get Apis to trust Yamamoto.

"Mm fine, but I'll only trust you" said Apis with no other choice as she had no way she could carry Ryu, although Yamamoto with his current meager strength was not capable of this feat either, they didn't know that.

He might have a physical strength of 13 points, but it was only slightly better than the average pirate or normal marine it was impossible that with this strength he could carry a giant dragon that who knows how much it might weigh.

Robin and Apis said goodbye to Ryu and started their journey back, to meet Yamamoto and ask him to help them fulfill the Millennium Dragon's last wish.

When they were heading towards the village, a shocking sound was heard, it was a bullet that almost hit Apis' right leg, for a few centimeters it hit the ground. This frightened Robin and Apis who stepped back with some fear and looked towards the sound where the shot came from.

"Tsch damn brat you sure are lucky" said the person who fired, this man was Nelson Royale who was being carried in a chair, by two marines.

"It's you!" said Apis with an angry tone remembering that Milo almost died because of this person. Robin cautiously observed this person and was surprised by his obese appearance and that he looked like he couldn't move and depended on the other men to get around.

In addition to Nelson and the 2 marines carrying his chair, there was Eric who watches this scene with little emotion on his face, and 5 other marines who had ugly faces, not wanting to perform these acts but did not dare to rebel.

"This time you won't escape girl, your stupid bird won't be able to save you" Nelson said with a sinister smile. Robin heard this thought about how a so-called marine could be so evil.

Remembering the scene where Yamamoto fought an admiral and two vice admirals and came out victorious, Robin plucked up his courage and exclaimed, "You fat idiot if my grandfather was here, you wouldn't be so brave!".

At Robin's words that could be heard by all the people present, Apis started to laugh out loud, "Hahaha so they say" she said as she tried to control his laughter.

A vein stood out on Nelson's forehead, clearly he was furious at being called fat and even more so if it was a little girl making fun of him, "Brat knows your place" exclaimed Nelson as he fired his gun towards Robin's head.

Robin froze at this moment and tried to move, but it was useless an 8-year-old girl who never trained in her life, she couldn't dodge a bullet. Before the bullet hit her, she was moved from her place at the last second and managed to dodge the bullet.

*Whew... that was close* thought Yamamoto, actually if it wasn't for the boost he got with him devil fruit, he wouldn't have made it in time to save Robin. His speed was still too normal to be able to overcome the speed of a bullet.

"Robin are you okay!?" asked Apis worriedly as she ran to Robin's side who was still in shock as she could see the bullet in front of her.

"Yes...I'm fine thank you..." said Robin after a few seconds also thanking Yamamoto, *Now don't you call me grandpa? What a strange girl...* thought Yamamoto who had heard Robin's shout and how she had called him grandfather.

"Why did these marines shoot at them?" asked Yamamoto, as it is impossible that these weaklings are here to catch him and the other Ohara archaeologists, and most likely they are looking for Apis.

Nelson who managed to hear Yamamoto's question exclaimed angrily for missing his shot again, "Damn old man, mind your own business if you don't want to die"

"Come on girl, tell me where the dragon is and I'll let them go" added Nelson with a smile trying to look benevolent.

"Dragon...?" whispered Yamamoto with a raised eyebrow.

Apis with no other choice decided to trust Yamamoto, "Yes please help me protect Ryu and take him home" asked Apis as she closed her eyes waiting for an answer.

Yamamoto raised his eyebrow without understanding much, but before he could answer the system's characteristic bell sounded.
