Ch 4 : Lightning Dragon Slayer

A few minutes later, Rei tried his best to stand up with a pale expression.

The pain when the lacrima was implemented to his body was no joke. Luckily, he was strong enough to bear it.

Vivi on the side saw Rei like this and asked him with a bit worried expression.

" Hey, you okay? Why are you looking so pale?"

Vivi was a very kind girl. She saw Rei become like this, and she was immediately concerned for him. Still, Rei was too lazy to be bothered with her.

" Yeah, after you fucked me up so bad, I don't think this kind of pain would bother me anymore..."

" Me, fuck you up? How could I? All I do is.... Ahh...."

Only at this moment did Vivi realize her mistake.

As for Vivi, he could only say sorry. He wanted to help her, but first, he must secure himself first. Either way, Rei believed that Crocodile would not be so hasty to kill Vivi.

Unfortunately for him, the moment he was about to leave the cell, a figure had appeared to block him.

" Sorry, but the boss has told me that he wanted you to be dead!"

A slim woman of above-average height with curly dark-blue hair, thick lips, dark green eyes, pale skin, and a curvaceous figure. Her most striking feature is probably the over-exaggerated way she walks, describing hip swings that are often used to display a sexy woman.

' She is...'

" Miss Doublefinger!!"

Said Vivi, who appeared out of nowhere next to Rei.

Rei was a bit startled, but he quickly regained his composure.

" You, what are you doing here?"

" Me? Hmm? Aren't we basically screwed together now? So shouldn't we stick together as partners in crime?"

" ???"

' This woman? What the heck is wrong with her?' Now that Rei remembered it, every beautiful woman in One Piece indeed has something wrong with their brain.

Still, now was not the time to refute Vivi.

The matter about Miss Double Finger was pretty urgent, and Rei needed to take care of her as soon as possible.

" Vivi, step back a bit. I will take care of her."

" Ah.. yes!"

Standing in front of Vivi, Rei looked at Miss Doublefinger with grim eyes.

" Hooo, what a manly display. Sadly, the boss-"

" Lightning Dragon Roar!!!!!"

Before Miss DoubleFinger could even finish her words, Rei had launched a Lightning Dragon roar at her.

Heck, only a stupid protagonist would wait for his enemy to finish his sentence. For Rei, such an opening he definitely wouldn't miss it.

With Rei taking the surprise attack, Miss DoubleFinger was unable to avoid the Lightning Dragon Roar.

Combining it with the firepower of the Lightning Dragon Roar, Rei was able to insta-kill the Miss DoubleFinger, and now all that's left was for him to escape.

Rei was now a bit fazed with the last attack he had just displayed.

Such an attack, now he could be said as one of the powerhouses in the first half stage of Grandline.

Unfortunately for him, Rei tends to overestimate his body.

After launching the Lightning Dragon Roar, Rei suddenly felt very weak as a lot of his physical power was used for that last attack.

He tried his best to stay conscious, but in the end, the physical consumption was just way too big.

Slowly, Rei began to lose consciousness as his body fell forward.

A lot of regrets came into Rei as he thought his journey would be over now.

Still, his luck seemed to think differently.

The moment Rei was about to fall, a pair of slender hands had caught him.

" Well, you should not overexert yourself. But that display of power.. I could not say that I was not charmed at all.."

It was Vivi who caught the unconscious Rei.

She saw Rei deal with Miss DoubleFinger, and she misunderstood it as he was doing this for her and Alabasta.

With the goodwill of Rei, the kindhearted Vivi obviously wouldn't leave Rei just like this here.

She put Rei into her arm, and while slowly holding his body, Vivi blew a whistle.

" Now, the first thing to do is to escape. Luckily, I have stationed Karoo not far away from here."
