A bait for a wild animal

Gamblers Hut is a small Island near the reverse mountain in the West blue. Despite being small the island was very valuable. It doesn't have any natural resources.

It didn't have anything note worthy to attract other's attention a few years ago.

The entire Island was used to suffer in poverty. Even the kings of The Island used to suffer like the subjects.

Due to the lack of resources the island was not able to affiliate itself with the world government. Without any protection the island had turned into a prime spot for the criminals and the pirates.

But then a few years ago, a new king was crowned. He used the limited resource of the island to loan out to it's citizens. And when the citizens didn't manage to payback, he sold them to slavery. In that manner he was able to accumulate a lot of wealth in short amount of time. After getting enough wealth he started gambling business in the island. Later he used the females In the Island to open various whore houses that provides premium service to their customers. He forced the people to work on developing the infrastructure of the island and made it a prime tourist spot. With enough money he was able to pay the heavenly tribute and gain the favour and the protection of the world government by affiliating itself with it. The island prospered. It became one of the most luxurious places for rich and nobles as well as big shots for gambling casinos and strip clubs. But the life of the inhabitants in the island worsened. Many of them were sold to slavery, while most of them were forced to work as labours or in the strip clubs.

So in the end even if the island prospered, the life of the inhabitants became more hellish.

And in this hell, a small boy, named Goggy, was trying his best to survive.

"Saint Fatpiggy, the elders have finally approved your visit to the Gamblers Hut island in the West blue.

We are waiting for your next orders." The CP agent informed Manmayer Fatpiggy, one of the most useless celestial Dragons, who belongs to one of the most prestigious family, the Manmayer family in the Mariejoice.

Fatpiggy was a very fat man with a pig like face.

He has not gone into the recent events of native hunting competition. So he wanted to visit the gamblers Hut instead.

He has heard about the island from his friend, saint Louse, who visited the place a year ago.

Unfortunately the five elders have halted all the programs, of the other celestial Dragons, outside the holy lands with the recent unfortunate incident.

In the recent events a considerable amount of celestial Dragons have died. That made many royal families upset and demand retaliation.

A few of them even demanded to end the entire West blue.

Obviously the elders won't listen to the mindless fools.

But they have deviced a plan to capture their current target of importance, Roxx. After getting the report from admiral Roma, they understood that normal admirals aur Marin will be useless against such and enemy. But they cannot let Roxx linger around such a potential threat.

Saint Fatpiggy has asked them for permission to visit an island in the West blue. And they decided to use this chance to capture Roxx.

Their plan was actually very simple. An wild animal like Maki , would never miss a prey. Even if the prey is a trap. They were planning to use Fatpiggy as a bait to lure her out and use this chance to capture Roxx.

Due to the orders of Imu sama, they had not posted any bounty on her head. But maybe after this incident they will be able to convince their King to treat the threat seriously.

Honestly Saint V Nusjuro wanted to actively haunt down the nuisence before, she turn into a great threat.

But since Imu sama has forbidden them for any action against the girl for now, the five elders have no choice but to obey.

But with this move, not only they will capture Roxx, but also declare Maki as a criminal with the highest bounty. Obviously it won't affect someone like her. But they have other ulterior motives behind this.

Kureha was solemnly sitting in her cabin. The recent events have affected her. Maki has brutally killed two people in front of her. It was not the killing that affected her, but the indifference showed by Maki, after she killed them, affected her. Not to mention her views towards the other people. Don't get her wrong, she still considers Maki as a friend. But at the end of the day Kureha is just a child. So it was natural for her to be affected by the extreme mind set of her only friend.

"You are upset..." Maki noticed the somber mood of Kureha.

"No.... It's not that.... Do you truly believe that they are not humans ?" Kureha asked after thinking a bit.

"If you mean the Marines and the cipher pole agents, then no. I don't see them as humans. In fact, anyone associated with those celestial pigs, have no right to call themselves as humans." Maki said seriously.

At that time, Roxx spoke from outside the cabin.

"Island ahead ! We have reached the Ilisia island."

"*Sigh* I don't care what you think about me. I don't see myself as a human anymore. I don't mind if you treat me like a monster. But no matter what you think I won't change my mind." Maki stood up to leave.

"Would you kill my grandpa, just because, he is a marine ?" Kureha asked Maki.

Maki didn't turn around.

"As I said before I don't like dirty my hands with the blood of dogs and bitches. But that doesn't mean I won't kill them. If your grandpa, comes after me on the order of those pigs, then I will kill him without any hesitation." Maki answered Kureha. Even knowing that Roxx was listening to their conversation just outside the cabin.
