"Boom! Rumble!"

The sound was like a cannon blast. A massive rumble shook the entire Sabaody Archipelago, making everyone stop and look at the sky.

There were no clouds, yet the sky boomed like a storm. It was so loud that people at Marineford, which was far away, could hear it too.

....

At Marineford, the top officers of the Marines were in a big meeting.

Almost every important Marine was there except Admiral Akainu, who was still out in the New World. When the loud thunder happened, one of the vice admirals, Momonga, jumped up in shock.

"Is Fleet-Admiral Ragnarok fighting with someone right now?!" He asked, his eyes widened in surprise.

"No, he's just handling some matters at Sabaody Archipelago." Replied Sengoku calmly.

"That's not our problem. Borsalino and Brontes will take care of it. Let's focus on our meeting. You are in charge of dealing with the Seven Shichibukai. Most of them aren't causing trouble, but the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock might be a problem. If the Kuja Pirates don't cooperate, tell them they're not protected by the World Government anymore. That's a direct order from Brontes." Sengoku said in a serious voice.

"Yes, sir!" Momonga replied as he sat back down.

"Seems like overkill, right?" Kuzan, another officer, said, his tone lazy.

"Usually, having an Admiral step in is enough. But now the Fleet-Admiral is involved. The World Nobles must be really angry."

Sengoku shook his head and said: "Like I said, don't worry about that. It's not our problem. Let's keep going. Kuzan, we don't have time to talk about Brontes' situation. We might be facing a war any moment now."

"Got it." Kuzan replied, shutting up.

The meeting continued, but everyone could still hear that thunder rumbling outside.

It was hard to ignore, even if it wasn't their business to deal with it. Something big was happening at Sabaody Archipelago.

....

The meeting at Marineford kept going, but outside, a storm was brewing over Sabaody Archipelago. Thunder roared, and thick, dark clouds rolled in, casting a shadow over everyone on the island. A sense of dread filled the air.

"What's happening?!" Hawkins said, clutching his stomach as he tried to look up at the stormy sky.

Drake's eyes widened in horror as he saw what was coming.

"Could it be..." He muttered, unable to finish his thought.

"ZliZli! Rumble!"

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck down near Borsalino, and from the flash of light, a man stepped out.

It was Brontes, his voice booming like thunder as he asked: "Where are the World Nobles?"

Borsalino didn't seem phased, as he replied calmly: "They're still at the auction house."

"Are they dead?" Brontes asked.

"They're not dead, but they're all knocked out. They got pretty roughed up." Borsalino replied, his tone became a bit more serious.

Brontes nodded and said: "Handle the ones who did this. Don't let anyone get away. I'll take care of the rest."

He seemed to have everything under control, but Borsalino knew things were going to get messy as he left to deal with the troublemakers.

Brontes then looked at the four Supernovas lying on the ground. He walked over to Drake and gave him a sharp kick, flipping him over.

"Bang!"

"The former Rear-Admiral Red-Flag, X Drake." Brontes said without much emotion.

"Pffff!"

Drake coughed up a mouthful of blood and slowly opened his eyes to look at Brontes.

"The World Government sent not just Admiral Borsalino but you too? Are the World Nobles that important?" He asked, his voice weak and full of pain.

Brontes shook his head with a look of pity, and said, sounding a bit disappointed: "Who knows? If you'd killed those filthy good for nothings, you would've saved me a lot of trouble. What a shame. You guys couldn't even do that right."

The pirates were stunned to hear Brontes speak like that. They'd never heard anyone who worked for the World Government bad-mouth the World Nobles so openly.

"Those good-for-nothings always cause trouble everywhere they go to." Brontes said, not caring who heard him: "They think they're invincible just because they're World Nobles. Tck! They're just a bunch of ants without the World Government's protection. Hey, you, I don't have time for these weaklings. Capture them all."

"Yes, sir!" the Marine soldiers replied, moving quickly to round up the beaten pirates.

Brontes didn't stick around to watch; he had other business to take care of.

"The pirates responsible for this mess are the captain of the Heart Pirates, Trafalgar Law, and the captain of the Kid Pirates, Eustass Kid." He walked over to another group of pirates, calm as ever, and said, as he was eyeing the defeated pirates on the ground.

Nearby, a Pacifista lay in pieces, almost completely destroyed from a previous fight. The sight of it made the pirates even more nervous.

"Room." Brontes made his move, and the pirates knew they had to run, fast, because they know very well that in front of Fleet-Admiral Ragnarok, they are not worth anything.

They started to regret ever showing up at the auction house. They should have escaped when they had the chance. Why did they stay and get caught up with the Straw Hat Pirates?

Now they were labeled as the troublemakers. Even an Admiral was involved. What could they do against that kind of power?

Brontes glanced at Trafalgar Law, and said with a playful smile: "A Paramecia-type Devil Fruit with space-related powers. The Op-Op Fruit is truly something special."

"How..." Law's eyes were locked on Brontes. He never expected Brontes to know so much about him.

"Bepo, you guys get out of here." Law yelled at the white bear, his voice filled with urgency.

"Captain!" Bepo hesitated, then shouted back: "Captain, we won't leave you!"

"Just go!" Law shouted again, more forcefully.

Brontes watched Bepo and the others with a smirk.

"You really think you can run from me?" Brontes asked, his tone almost playful.

"Let's fight this basterd!"

Kid, the hotheaded captain of the Kid Pirates, decided running wasn't an option.

He used his Magnet Fruit power to pull all the nearby metal toward him, forming two massive iron arms. Without a word, he swung them at Brontes with all his might.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

The explosions echoed as Brontes got buried under the metal. It looked like Kid's reckless move might have worked.

"Kid, you idiot! You're gonna get us all killed!" Killer shouted in anger.

"So what? We've taken down one of the Seven Shichibukai, what's a Fleet-Admiral?" Kid laughed arrogantly, thinking he had won.

But then, out of nowhere, a voice came from behind him.

"Oh? You took down one of the Seven Shichibukai?"

It was Brontes!

"Who?!" Kid spun around, but it was too late.

"Thump! Boom!"

Brontes's foot flew at him, striking him straight in the face and sending him flying with a powerful kick.

"As for the rest of you..." Brontes said, turning toward Killer and the others.

"ZliZli!"

"Rumble!"

A bolt of lightning shot from behind Brontes, transforming into a fierce lightning dragon that struck down everyone in its path.

The pirates had no chance; they were all knocked to the ground, struggling to move.

Brontes was ruthless, and his power was overwhelming. The message was clear: you don't mess with a Fleet-Admiral.

When Law saw Kid and the others knocked out in the blink of an eye, he knew he didn't stand a chance against Brontes. He turned and tried to run, but Brontes was too fast.

"Where do you think you're going?" Brontes asked with a smirk.

"ZliZli!"

In a flash, Law and his crew were already on the ground, unable to move.

Brontes glanced at them with a bored expression:"What a waste of time."

Then he waved at the Marine soldiers. "Take them all away."

The soldiers moved quickly, gathering up Law and his crew. It was all over for them.

Apart from the Straw Hat Pirates, the Fire Tank Pirates, and the Bonney Pirates, all the other Supernovas had been captured.

But Brontes wasn't interested in Capone Bege or Bonney. He had his sights set on the Straw Hats, and he knew exactly where to find them. When he arrived, only Luffy was left.

If Brontes wanted to, he could have stopped the Straw Hats from escaping Sabaody Archipelago from the beginning.

But he didn't. He watched as Luffy got slapped hard by Kuma, sending him flying. Borsalino tried to intercept Luffy, but Rayleigh, the Dark King, got in the way.

"He escaped?" Brontes asked Kuma, his expression calm.

Kuma didn't say anything; he just lowered his head.

"If the Five Elders find out that the Straw Hat Pirates got away, I'm in trouble." Borsalino said. He wasn't thrilled about Luffy slipping through his fingers.

Brontes shifted his gaze to Rayleigh, and said: "Dark King, Silvers Rayleigh!"

Rayleigh nodded and smiled: "This is our first meeting, isn't it, Fleet-Admiral Ragnarok?"

Rayleigh could hold his own against Borsalino, but Brontes was a different kind of beast. If they fought, Rayleigh knew his chances of winning were slim.

Brontes didn't ask Kuma why he helped Luffy and his crew. He already knew the answer, so he didn't waste time questioning it.

"I have other things to do." Brontes said.

"I won't bother with you guys. See you later, Dark King, Rayleigh." He gave Rayleigh a smile and then disappeared in an instant.

With Brontes gone, the atmosphere relaxed a bit. But everyone knew he was just a glimpse of the power the Marines could bring. The storm was over, but a bigger one was looming on the horizon.
