Rumbling—
Just as the spaceship that Shiro and Robin were on was about to land on the moon's surface, a thunderous roar echoed through the void.
Looking up, a thunder dragon roared ferociously.
"Be careful!" Robin's beautiful eyes flashed with anxiety. Although she knew Shiro was incredibly strong, they had just arrived on the moon, and they hadn't even had time to put on their spacesuits. A sudden attack like this was dangerous, especially in such an unfamiliar environment.
Moreover, how could there be such terrifying lightning on the moon!?
As Robin's worry mounted, the corner of Shiro's mouth curved into a confident smile. The presence of a thunder attack at least proved they were in the right place. Enel was likely on the moon.
As for the Thunder Dragon attack? To Shiro, who had deep mastery over the thunder element, it was trivial.
Still, it was a significant attack with notable speed and power. Shiro first handed a spacesuit to Robin and, with a swift motion, shot out of the spaceship.
"Shiro!" Robin called out anxiously. This was a completely foreign environment, and they were under sudden attack. Shiro was being reckless, and she feared he might be in real danger.
But in the next instant, Robin's concerns evaporated. The Thunder Dragon, which seemed capable of obliterating anything in its path, was stopped in its tracks by Shiro's outstretched palm. The massive creature of lightning struggled against his grip but failed to advance an inch.
With a simple squeeze, Shiro crushed the Thunder Dragon, reducing it to arcs of electricity that fizzled across the moon's surface.
After neutralizing the attack, Shiro immediately expanded his Haki, covering as much of the unfamiliar terrain as possible. This was his usual tactic—whenever he entered new territory, he would spread his Haki to scout the area.
Although his Observation Haki was the weakest of his three Haki types, it was still more than sufficient for most situations. Furthermore, he possessed the unique ability to see and strike with lethal precision.
"Yeah hahahaha! Someone dares to trespass? Very well, I'll forgive your intrusion for now!"
As Shiro surveyed the surroundings, a man emerged from the ruins on the moon's surface. He wore a hood, carried thunder drums on his back, and sparks of electricity crackled around him. This man was Enel!
Seeing Shiro, Enel's expression turned to one of surprise. After all, this was his domain—a place supposedly unreachable by anyone but him.
"He's... Enel!?" Robin exclaimed, stepping out of the spaceship in a slim-fitting spacesuit. She immediately recognized the man standing near Shiro, and a flicker of fear crossed her face. This was the false god who once ruled Skypiea, the wielder of the Goro Goro no Mi.
Her fear was not unfounded; Enel's strength was monstrous. Except for Luffy, every member of the Straw Hat Pirates had fallen to him without putting up much of a fight.
Although their adventure on Skypiea was long past, Robin had never forgotten Enel's terrifying power.
"Yo? Yeah hahahaha! Isn't this the lovely crewmate of that foolish Straw Hat? How unexpected to see you here!" Enel sneered as recognition dawned on him. His expression darkened instantly. His defeat by the fledgling Straw Hat Pirates was the greatest humiliation of his life.
Since then, Enel had often reflected on the absurdity of his defeat. That idiot with the Straw Hat wielded rubber powers, acting as an insulator, but even that should not have protected against millions of volts.
"Enel, so you really are here. I wasn't mistaken," Shiro said as he assessed Enel. Despite the dark look on his face, Enel appeared to be in good condition—potentially a formidable warrior who, with the right guidance, could dominate the seas.
"Shiro, are you after this guy? You know who he is, right? Enel is no joke—his abilities make him incredibly difficult to handle!" Robin warned, her worry palpable. It was clear that Enel was the reason Shiro had come to the moon.
Shiro's long-term goal was to challenge the World Government and the Navy Headquarters, even one day to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the Celestial Dragons. To do that, he needed not only his own strength but powerful forces and capable cadres. Enel fit that mold perfectly, but he wouldn't be easy to recruit or defeat.
"Don't worry, Robin. I've got this," Shiro reassured her. He understood that Robin's concern was solely for his safety. The best way to alleviate her worries was to display his strength by decisively defeating the opponent.
"Yeah hahahaha! Who is this insolent brat who dares to look down on a god? A god should not be disrespected!" Enel's voice dripped with disdain as he observed Shiro's calm demeanor.
Lonely since arriving in the desolate landscape of the moon, Enel's divine wrath had long been simmering beneath the surface, waiting to explode.
"100 Million Volt God's Fury Thunder Dragon!"
Without further provocation, Enel struck the drums on his back, summoning a double-headed Thunder Dragon that crackled with immense power.
"Prepare to tremble under the wrath of a god! Yeah hahahaha!" Enel laughed as the twin Thunder Dragons roared and surged towards Shiro.
