But before he could do anything else, he discovered his ship was quickly sailing toward the island where the Frauce Kingdom was located.

"Oh shit!" Dan muttered before he dashed toward the ship's wheel.

From what Dan knew, the Frauce Kingdom was a peaceful kingdom located on a mid-size island.

Its central city was a coastal city with a big Marine Base led by a Commodore rank officer, so almost no pirates dared to cause trouble in the city.

But right now, he is still in an invisible state. Hence no one can see him, so he can't just dock his ship at the main port, as it would raise many questions that he doesn't want to answer.

So, he has to find a place away from prying eyes to dock his ship safely.

After docking his ship far away from the city and hoping no one would find it. Still, without any clothes, Dan began to move toward Peris, the main city in the Frauce Kingdom, with a goal in mind.

And with his improved physical attributes running a few kilometers in a couple of minutes was an easy job. So, it was not much of a surprise when Dan reached his destination exceptionally quickly.

'Huh, this place gives me some serious France vibes. But considering the kingdom name, I suppose it was expected,' Dan thought while looking at the busy streets of Peris, which was basically a Paris equivalent of his previous world.

After some more rooming around the city, Dan finally found the perfect place he had been searching for the past two hours.

A fancy pub that basically screamed to him that it was run by a big-time criminal.

That was his target, or maybe it would be better to say it was where he would find his target.

Dan calmly waited near the door before following a well-dressed customer when he opened the door to enter.

When Dan entered the fancy pub, he silently scoured the room to find a suitable target.

And in the next half an hour, after hearing countless conversations, most of which were useless, they still gave him enough knowledge to find what he was looking for.

A young man in his mid-twenties walks toward the private room with a beautiful girl in each arm. At the same time, all the staff and other customers gave him a wide berth, whether out of respect or fear.

Henry Falcon is the scion of the second-biggest crime family in this kingdom, the owner of this pub, and the type of person Dan was looking for.

Dan immediately sneaked inside as his bodyguard opened the door to let Henry and the girls enter the room.

And when Henry entered the room with the girls, Dan immediately sneaked behind him and put his tail blade at his neck while holding his hand on his mouth to ensure he didn't scream.

But despite this, Henry showed no outward signs of panic except when his eyes widened briefly before returning to normal.

When he saw that, he was not reacting the way he expected. Dan whispered in his creepiest voice, "Henry Falcon, you and I have a lot to talk about, but first..."

Henry nodded before Dan removed his from his mouth so he could speak. However, the blade still remained on his neck as a reminder that any wrong words would result in his death.

"Sasha, May I would like some alone time, so can you both leave," Henry said softly. Still, it was clear to both that it was not a suggestion but an order, which they immediately obeyed.

After they both exited the room, Dan waited a minute to see if anyone else would enter it. Seeing no one enter the room, he removed the blade from his neck and pushed him to sit on the sofa.

Despite the rough treatment, Henry calmly sat on the sofa like this was an everyday occurrence before asking, "Okay, so what do you want to talk about, mister ass..." But before he could complete his words, a tiny black ball entered his mouth and quickly dissolved without giving him time to split it out.

*Cough*

*Cough*

"Well, now, at least you will stop talking for a while," Dan said before sitting in front of him.

"You must be wondering, what was that black ball, right?" He asked to which Henry nodded.

"It was my personal creation, an untraceable poison that dissolves in the victim's blood and makes his death look completely natural," Dan said with a hint of excitement in his voice, like he was finally able to see his personal creation at work.

After each word he spoke, Henry's face continued to pale before he started throwing up, emptying his stomach in the hope of getting rid of it.

While Henry tries his best to split it out, Dan calmly waits for him to finish before saying in an amused tone, "You do know that it would not help, right?"

Henry looked in his direction with a frigid stare, altogether abandoning his calm and level-headed persona.

While his stare would be intimidating to others, it didn't do shit to Dan as he simply continued speaking, "the poison has already mixed with your blood, so your only hope of not dying is the poison's antidotes which, lucky, I have."

A tiny pink ball appeared in his hand as he spoke.

"A total of five doses are needed to completely destroy that poison, and I will give you one each time you do a task for me, but just so you know, each dose will only keep your death at bay for a week."

"So, you just have to do five tasks for me to get rid of that poison, or you don't, and in that case, you better enjoy the last few days of your life," Dan said while looking at a clearly shaken Henry in front of him.

"So what will you choose, my friend?"

(A week later)

In the same private room as before, Henry put four briefcases full of cash on the table in front of an empty-looking chair. Still, he knew the person who was blackmailing him was sitting on it.

"Well, that's certainly fast," Dan chuckled while looking at the money in front of him. "But then again, everyone works fast when life is on the line, right Henry?"

Henry didn't reply to his taunt and opted to wait calmly for his second antidote.

Seeing that he was not taking the bait this time, Dan simply moved to the following matter, "so how much is it?"

"A full four million beri, just like you asked," Henry replied without missing a beat.

Hearing this, a grin appeared on Dan's face as he moved his hands over the money before taking it into his system inventory.

[Money: 4, 270,689 beri]

"Alright, there is your antidote for this week," Dan said before passing him a tiny pink ball, which Henry immediately swallowed.

"You know your next task, right?"

Henry replied in a neutral tone, "Yes, you just want all the information we have about the pirates and other gangs in this area."

"But just so you know, you will not get any information about the Falcon family from me," Henry said in a tone that made it clear that it was not up for discussion.

'Hehe, such a loyal person. Even when he thinks that his life is in my hands, he refuses to sell his family,' Dan thought before agreeing to his request, which really doesn't sound like one.

While the Falcon family is wealthy, it doesn't mean he has to pursue after them when Henry is providing a more accessible alternative.
