Chapter 61: One Enemy Three! Only an Admiral?

The G5 Marine Base has been virtually demolished. Even though Kaido is leaving right now, the extensive damage it has suffered will leave its mark. The land can no longer support the G5 as a site for the Marine Base to be rebuilt.

"Huh?" Kaido transformed back into his human form and stood on a field of molten lava, heated by the intense temperature. He glanced into the distance, sensing the aura of the place. Thousands of people were scattered across several ships, all seemingly of comparable strength. And the three strongest among them were rapidly approaching the island.

It appeared that the Marines had arrived. Kaido pondered deeply. During this time, no other forces would dare to cause a disturbance. Blackbeard wouldn't dare, and neither would the Big Mom Pirates. Red Hair might have the nerve, but he wouldn't be aware of the situation at G5.

"Five seven three," Kaido thought. Could the three individuals flying at the forefront of the fleet be Marine Admirals? "Oh lao lao ~ what a commendable move, sending three at once." A slight smile crept onto Kaido's face, without a trace of concern.

Suddenly, he caught a sound. "Wow~~bang~" "Boom∼∼Bang~" It was the charging of lightning and the sound of a heartbeat. Kaido's eyes narrowed. It seemed that Vergo was also being revived. This was a feature of the Thunder Fruit, which could automatically generate electricity to stimulate the heart, even if it wasn't beating. This was also why Kaido wasn't worried about Vergo dying.

Standing with his mace resting on his shoulder, Kaido waited for the three Admirals to arrive. It wasn't long before a streak of golden light shot from the distant sea, stopping about ten meters from Kaido before reverting to human form.

Kizaru, with his hands in his pockets and wearing a coat of justice, shook his head from side to side, surveying the destruction nearby. "Oh~oh~ it's terrible. To think the G5 branch was destroyed like this~"

"You're not afraid of death, showing yourself before me like this," Kaido said, his fierce gaze dripping with sarcasm. He considered Kizaru's confidence, assuming it stemmed from his Sparkling Fruit and his belief that he was so fast others couldn't catch him, which explained his bold solo appearance ahead of the others. Kaido thought to himself that Kizaru lacked awareness of the real situation.

Yet, Kaido didn't want to act just yet. Defeating an Admiral now would make it less entertaining later when the others arrived for a fight.

"Well~ after all, I am fast~ It's not like I deliberately left them behind," Kizaru shrugged and then, puzzled by Kaido's indifference, prodded, "Are you not going to make your move? Although you can't take me down, all three Admirals will soon be here~"

"Huh~ seems you've misspoken. You're not planning to run away, are you, Kaido~?"

Kaido just looked at him, as if he were viewing a clown who tried to outdo even the Joker in folly.

"It's so boring ~pirates~," Kizaru pouted and then inquired, "What about Vice Admiral Vergo? It wouldn't be good if he were dead and we had to report that to Sakazuki~"

"I killed him, of course. Did you think you could steal from me and live?" Kaido scoffed.

"Oh~~This is really troublesome~~," Kizaru said, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

"What trouble?" asked Green Bull, also known as Aramaki, who arrived alongside Fujitora, seated in a chair.

"Vice Admiral Vergo seems to have been killed by this guy. The Fleet Admiral might not be pleased~"

Kizaru glanced at his corner and pointed his finger at Kaido, who remained calm. "What?!" Akainu, clearly agitated, jumped to his feet and exclaimed, "Damn Kaido! He wouldn't dare come down from mid-air; after all, this place is filled with high-temperature magma. His big tree can't adapt like Kizaru and resist the heat."

"It seems that His Excellency Virgo couldn't hold out until we came to your rescue..." Fujitora sighed, looking slightly sad and helpless. Suddenly, a rumbling thunder rolled across the sky, and a blue electric light fell near the three of them, transforming into a human form in the blink of an eye.

"Vice Admiral Virgo?" Kizaru's eyebrows rose in surprise. Green Bull watched him, then Kaido, while Fujitora listened intently in astonishment.

"Ah, I'm okay. I didn't mean to worry you," Virgo said as he clutched his heart and addressed the three Admirals beside him. After waking up, he took some time to understand his current situation. Fa had been killed by Kaido but could be resurrected. Virgo woke up to find G5 destroyed and realized Kaido must have known about Thunder Fruit's ability to stimulate the heart. Despite the blow to his back and the Master's increased strength, he was still considering continuing the fight with Kaido.

However, Kizaru, looking at Virgo's scars, bandages, and bloodstains, was reluctant to let him continue fighting. "Let's go to the warship and get some rest. You've worked hard," Kizaru said seriously.

"Admiral, I can still..." Virgo struggled to say.

Seeing him in this condition, admiration stirred in the hearts of the Admirals. Despite his severe injuries, he hadn't forgotten his mission. Kaido had come because of him, and Virgo had never fled. He remembered his faults and duties – a true example of a Marine soldier!

"Vice Admiral Virgo!" Green Bull said confidently, "Leave the rest to us."

"The three active Admirals are here," Fujitora said, drawing his sword. "It's hard to imagine Kaido escaping this situation."

Virgo let out a deep breath, bowed to them, and said, "Then I'll leave it to you." He then turned into thunder and lightning and rose into the sky, heading straight to the coast to await the arrival of the warships. Unnoticed, his expression was one of worry, not for the Admirals but for Kaido. He was unsure if Governor Kaido could defeat the three Admirals he had summoned.

Meanwhile, Kaido watched Virgo leave, then faced the three Admirals. With a sneer, he looked down at them and said, "All three together?"

"Yes. After all, we're facing you, and only together can we ensure your downfall," Green Bull replied, his face showing wooden grain patterns as his body began to transform into a tree.

"Oh, thank you for not running away. It's too late to be scared now," Kizaru said, his hands folded in front of his chest, surrounded by lasers and flashing golden rays.

"No need for idle chatter with pirates. Let's attack together and finish him," Fujitora declared, his knife harboring a hint of gravity.

Kaido's expression turned stern. His body, wrapped in Armament Haki, also began to flow, covering his mace in preparation. In a cold, disdainful voice, he addressed them, "Admirals."
