Far from the island, Kaido and Linlin watched the battle with great excitement.
"Gulp!" said Kaido, swallowing hard. "This is incredible."
Linlin nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "A battle like this hasn't been seen in hundreds of years."
Despite their enthusiasm, both pirates refrained from intervening. They knew their presence would only hinder their Captain, and the best place to observe the battle was from afar.
---
In the central area of God Valley Island, the tension was palpable.
"Let's see how much you can take!" After this phrase, the thousands of enormous arms of Buda, which had remained still until now, moved like a devastating wave towards the attackers. Garp was the first to bear the brunt.
"Do you really hate me that much?" muttered Garp, his expression changing slightly as he saw the nearly hundred giant wooden fists rushing towards him. "Let's see how much this damned tree can take!" he shouted, cursing.
Without fear, Garp launched his fist, now wrapped in Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki, against the giant wooden fists attacking him.
BOOM! A deafening roar echoed across the island.
In the blink of an eye, Garp's fist collided with a giant wooden fist, and a terrifying shockwave erupted, vibrating the air and slightly shaking the entire island.
Cracks began to appear on the wooden fist, but they didn't collapse. Instead, they repaired themselves at a visible speed.
"What the hell?! How is this possible?!" Garp, who was about to attack again, showed disbelief. He had used all his strength in that blow, expecting to shatter the first wooden fist and then take down the remaining ones one by one. But his punch had only caused a crack...
Boom, boom, boom... The sound of the advancing wooden fists was like a symphony of destruction. While Garp was stunned, the remaining ninety-nine wooden fists stormed towards him like a violent tempest, covering the area where he stood.
"I'll blow you all away!" Garp came to his senses and, without hesitation, frantically swung his fists, using the maximum of his Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! A series of collisions resonated as Garp broke more than a dozen giant wooden fists. Sawdust flew everywhere.
But the remaining eighty wooden fists didn't stop. After breaking more than twenty, a giant wooden fist slipped through the storm and struck Garp on the shoulder, destabilizing him.
BOOM! Garp's body paused for a moment, surprised, before being sent flying hundreds of meters away, raising a cloud of dust as he hit the ground.
And as Garp fell, twelve more blasts resounded on the island, impacting the ground like meteors, shaking God Valley Island.
"What incredible repair and defense!" exclaimed Xebec with a somber face. "Not even with Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki can we stop these giant wooden fists. It's madness!"
"How is this possible?!" Shiki gripped the handles of his swords tightly. "These fists have monstrous vitality and defense. They sent me flying like it was nothing."
"My tremor power can barely break a giant wooden fist, but not completely destroy it," said Newgate, clutching his naginata with frustration. "I couldn't stop eighty wooden fists from attacking me."
Silver Axe, John, and Ochoku gritted their teeth, not daring to speak. Although they were attacked by fewer wooden fists, they still couldn't do anything.
On the other side, Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban, Kong, Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr remained silent. All had failed to overcome the wooden fists.
Roger, speechless, had pushed his Observation Haki to the limit to find an escape, but he underestimated the vitality and defense of the giant wooden fists. Even if he could break the hundred fists attacking him, it was useless.
