In Mary Geoise, the image in the room abruptly faded, marking the end of the transmission from God Valley. The Den Den Mushi located on the island had also been destroyed by the devastating battle.
Despite the interruption, smiles did not leave the faces of the Five Elders, who were still kneeling on the floor. For them, Hashirama's death and the resolution of the crisis meant a triumph for the World Government. The sea would return to its previous course, under the control and influence of the organization.
A sigh of relief escaped Imu's lips, who had remained silent until that moment. It was the first time in hundreds of years that Imu had intervened directly, and the experience had been somewhat uncomfortable.
"Next... you know what to do, don't you?" Imu asked indifferently.
"Of course, Imu-sama," the Five Elders responded hurriedly. "We will take care of this matter without leaving a trace."
Imu nodded in satisfaction. "Mu is pleased to hear that."
"It's best if this story disappears completely," Imu added before vanishing in a bloody circle of strange runes.
The Five Elders sighed deeply after Imu-sama's departure. The invisible pressure emanating from Imu's presence had kept them in a constant state of tension.
Minutes after Imu's disappearance, the Five Elders sat in their respective chairs, an air of satisfaction floating in the room. Some of them even poured themselves hot tea to enjoy a moment of tranquility.
Hashirama's death marked the end of an era, and with it, the elimination of a great threat to the World Government. The order to erase all information about the Ninja God had already been given, and soon, his existence would vanish from collective memory.
However, the peace of this fleeting moment was interrupted by the sound of the Den Den Mushi on the table. The Five Elders frowned, surprised by the sudden call.
Saturn, one of the elders, answered the Den Den Mushi with a grave voice. "What is it?"
"Five Elders, this is Kong," responded the excited voice of the Marine Admiral from the other side of the Den Den Mushi.
"Oh," said Saturn indifferently, already anticipating the news. "There's no need to inform us, Kong. We already know that Hashirama is dead."
"It's not just that, your lordship," Kong replied enthusiastically. "I have another great piece of news to tell you!"
The Five Elders leaned forward, intrigued by Kong's words. "What is it?"
"Garp and Roger have joined forces to fight Xebec!" exclaimed Kong. "And I'm sure Xebec will fall in the waters of God Valley! The Rocks Pirates will no longer be a threat!"
A stunned silence took over the room. The Five Elders rose from their seats, unable to believe what they had just heard. Xebec would be defeated too? Was it possible that their plans had taken such an unexpected turn?
"Tell us in detail," Saturn ordered tensely. "I want to know what happened after Hashirama's death."
Kong narrated the events that had transpired in God Valley, describing Garp's betrayal, the battle between the two pirate crews, and Xebec's eventual defeat.
At the end of the call, a dry "Click" echoed in the room, indicating the end of the communication. The Five Elders looked at each other, an ironic smile forming on their lips.
According to Kong's report, the fearsome pirate Rocks had been eliminated, and his crew had disbanded. The Rocks Pirates would become just a memory in history.
However, a discomfort persisted in the hearts of the Five Elders. The secret alliance between Garp and Roger without the World Government's knowledge was a nuisance, a sign that the Marines were acting independently.
But for now, the priority was to erase any trace of Hashirama from history and create a new hero for the Marines. The victory at God Valley would be the foundation to strengthen the World Government's power and influence on the sea.
