On The Way

As we sail towards Cocoyasi Village, Yosaku starts talking how dangerous our next destination is because Arlong is one of the mermen who fought along with Jinbe, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Oka Shichibukai. He starts explaining about the Warlords and how they are working for the World Government to keep the Grand Line in check and all of them should be on par with Mihawk.

"Hey, Dravde. Is this stuff all true?" Luffy asks since he knows that I've been to the Grand Line.

"Yeps. I could even tell you all their names and abilities but you probably wouldn't want any spoilers. But one thing you should know is that you can freely kick Arlongs ass. Jinbe won't complain and if he found out what Arlong is doing he would come over and beat Arlong up himself. You see, Jinbe is nice and kind fellow."

While Luffy and Sanji just think that there is no problem then, Yosaku starts asking me about how I know about Jinbe not coming back for revenge. I just tell him about why Jinbe joined the Warlords in the first place and how he protects the Fishman Island from evil people while being benevolent to others despite the race.

The discussion turns back on topic and the guys wonder why Nami is after Arlong. I just stay silent while Sanji starts fantasizing about Nami being a mermaid only for Luffy's poor drawing skills to bring his dreams crashing down. After some time of them arguing Sanji finally says that it's time to eat and starts asking what we want.

"MEAT ON A BONE!" Luffy shouts his fist high towards the sky.

"Stir-fried bean sprouts!" Yosaku shouts next while doing a "YATTA!" pose.

"To be honest... I don't know. Maybe some meat dish." I say as I keep focusing on my Haki.

"By the way, Yosaku, Luffy, can you be quiet for a bit. I'm going to try to exhaust my Haki and it would help if you stayed quiet while I'm doing so."

"Are you trying to do what you asked from that Hawk guy?" Luffy asks intrigued.

"Yeah but it needs silence or it will just drive me crazy."

I release control over my Haki and I feel all my senses expanding back to 20m. My headache just gets worse already and I'm not even trying to overuse it. I try to get used to this but I can't so I just put my Haki in overdrive and my head starts feeling like it's going to spilt. All of my base senses get really sharp and then I can feel everything within the 20m area much sharply.

The aura of everyone looks a bit more humanoid now and I get a really faint something like "This guy is strong" vibes from Luffy and Sanji. I don't need to be so close anymore to feel a person's emotions though I still have trouble understanding them or reading their "minds". The pain becomes really unbearable and I fall on my knees clutching my head. I try to get back some control but the pain is too much for me to focus.

"Luffy... Knock me... out... quick!" I beg Luffy and he smacks me out cold. Next I wake up being told to eat the food while it's hot and I groggily take a seat and try to now reign in the not so berserk Haki.

"How are you feeling?" Yosaku asks while munching on his bean sprouts.

"Good news. I can feel things even better than before. Bad news. I can feel things even better than before and I can't restrain it as well as before."

"I don't get it." Luffy says while surprisingly not choking on the bone of the meat.

"Yeah... No one does..." I sigh as I'm trying to talk about Haki to people who don't even have it yet.

We keep eating until suddenly I feel something big passing underneath our ship. Then out of the water surfaces Momoo. Yosaku starts screaming and panicking while rest of us look at the huge cow Sea King in front of us with wonder and amazement. Momoo leans forward sniffing and eyeing the food and Yosaku starts shouting how it's after the food and we should give it the food otherwise it would overturn the ship.

"GOMU GOMU NO PISTOL!" Hearing what Yosaku said, Luffy's first reaction was to Pistol the Sea King in front of him and knock him out while creating big waves as Momoo falls back under the water. I grab my stir-fried beef and veggies as the waves rock the boat and try to finish them before the food start flying everywhere.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY FOOD!" Luffy shouts as Yosaku just plays the hypeman in the background.

"MOOOO!" Momoo surfaces back up roaring... mooing(?) in anger as Yosaku panics again about how Luffy just made it angrier.

"I'll just sock him one more time then!" Luffy says and prepares to do another Pistol but...

"You dumbasses! Don't just beat up something only for being hungry!" Sanji kicks the duo down.

"I'm sure it's injured somewhere so it can't find food on it's own. Isn't that right?" Sanji says while looking caringly at Momoo while it's looking at Sanji in visible confusion.

"Even the damn thing is confused about the bullshit you are spouting. I can feel the confusion radiating off the damn thing." I say as I place my plate back on the table.

"Yea and what would you know? Here, eat up." Sanji tries to give Momoo a plate of food and Momoo opens its mouth and looks ready to take a bite.

"DIE!!!" Sanji kicks Momoo on the chin and sends it flying back under water.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" Yosaku shouts as Sanji's attitude did a complete turn.

"That thing was about to take a bite out of me too." Sanji says looking royally pissed off.

"What did you expect from an animal? Human intellect and super precision to not bite your limb of? Do kindly wait until we find some of those in the Grand Line 'cuz this one ain't the brightest." I lace my words with sarcasm as I spit them towards Sanji.

"MOOOOOOO!" Momoo comes raging towards us fully intending on destroying the ship to pieces with us along with it.

Once again Luffy prepares to Pistol it but our new cook seems to want to show his prowess some more and says he will deal with it alone. He starts running towards the mast and jumps off the mast doing a wall jump "COLLIER SHOOT!" and kicks Momoo on its neck and finally properly knocking it out.

"Alright, let's eat!" Luffy shouts and goes back to the table to chow down.

"That was a nice little exercise." Sanji also rejoins the table.

"I'm honestly surprised the food is still fine with all the waves you guys made. Oh Sanji, can I have more please?" I also sit back as the amounts of shit I give are getting less and less while Yosaku just looks at us like we are insane.

"Oh right, Momoo over there belongs to Arlong's group so we can make him take us there faster." I say while stuffing myself on food and we agree to have Yosaku do the grunt work of tying up Momoo while it's still unconscious and the convincing to Luffy and Sanji when Momoo wakes up. I continue my Haki training as we wait for Momoo to wake up.

'Okay so what the hell happened in Cocoyasi Village? Let's get as much cleared as I can before we get to the action. We have Nami saving Usopp... What was Zoro doing again? The betrayal by Arlong... Nami crying... then the fight happens... I don't remember JACK SHIT!? Fuck me...'

[Only thing I remember is rage.]

Anger builds up as I remember Nami stabbing her arm while crying. Then different scenes from various scenes from the series start playing in my mind, fueling my anger even more.

['So many fucking bastards that should be butchered.'] After a while of imagining how I want to rip those bastards to pieces I cool down and just realize how impossible it is. I'm brought back to the reality that this is once again... my reality and how fucked I still am.

"Fuck... I'm going to die." Outwardly I sigh while inside my resolve to survive grows stronger.
