Even though he hadn't personally seen Whitebeard land two punches to sink the Queen Mama Chanter, he had heard Hawkins speak that they wanted to join the Whitebeard Pirates.

"Why are these supernovas showing up one by one at our doorstep, wanting to become Whitebeard's 'sons'?" 

Sabo whispered.

The corner of Dragon's mouth twitched.

If Sabo asked him, who should he ask?

The remaining supernovas listened silently and stood motionless.

Seemingly resolute in their intention to join the Whitebeard Pirates.

"Then get on my ship, but remember!"

"No matter your past status or loyalties, once you become my sons, you'll bear my name as you journey into the New World. The past won't matter. Can you accept this?" 

Whitebeard smiled lowly

He also directed his gaze towards Apoo and X Drake.

The others are unaware of the two's backgrounds.
