(Chapter 50) Mayday!

The Captain of the ship grit his teeth as he held the emergency den-den mushi, The snail was white In colour and has a red button on the top of its shell
He was a very tall man and had long grey hair that flowed down his back along with a long black beard, The man's face was wrinkled with age as his yellow eyes glared at the snail he was almost crushing
He has been trying to contact headquarters or any nearby marine bases for the past hour, Just a few moments ago the Fleet admiral called a code red revealing their secret weapon
The only thing stopping him from killing that brat of a fleet admiral was the fact he needed to keep the ship running, as well as ordering his men to reload the turrets that spanned the length of the ship
"Wukong is a fool, I knew this was a bad idea since the start, The fact that we didn't supply enough ammunition and just relied on the manpower of those admirals is outrageous!" He thought looking at the large projection showing different camera feeds across the ship as he eyed the one in front of the ship that showed the still ongoing battle between the Navy and Pirates
'Sir! A ship containing Vice Admiral Xephyr has picked up the call and is contacting headquarters as we speak' Came the voice of his Vice captain who held a snail in his right hand
The man sighed as a single bead of sweat ran down his face before his face became solemn, 'There's no point now... It's going to take way too long for any backup to get here, Our only option is to take them on'
His features soon became serious as he turned around facing the rest of the people in the command centre of the ship, 'Men! This is our final stand, It's now or never so get ready!' He shouted as the Marines onboard cheered as they got in position
He turned around to face his vice-captain before nodding, The man's shocked and feared visage turned serious as he nodded before turning to face the ship controls as they both took out two golden keys and twisted them at the same time revealing a hidden button that slid from under the table
'On my go ready?' Said the captain, The younger man nodded before they counted down
'Three... Two.. On-'
*Bang*
The room's sea stone door came off its hinges and flew towards the terminal destroying and crushing the vice-captain under it, The man didn't have the time to say or do anything as he insanely died from the force and weight of the door
'What in the name of-' Before he could finish a white-haired man wearing a Captain's coat and had two swords hanging on his waist walked in holding the limp body of Rear Admiral Pridasue, The captain cursed under his breath instantly recognizing the infamous captain John
'Jehehhehe! Looky what we have here, I'd love to add this ship to my treasure collection wouldn't you think it would be a great fit Captain?' said the man as he grinned before pulling out a pistol and shooting the man who tried to stab him through the chest with a sword without looking back
The Captain stayed silent as he scowled towards the pirate, His hands that lay on the now destroyed terminal slowly crept into his pocket, But before he could click on the snail's shell he was shot several times in the chest as his body slumped and fell on the ground
'The pirate just grinned as he faced the rest of the crew, If you move all of you are dead you hear me?!' Said the man as he grinned at the shocked marines around him

'Oi can't this ship go any faster?!' Said a purple-haired man as he shouted at the poor Marine who was steering the ship, Garp for the first time wasn't joking or eating his rice crackers but had a frown lining his face
A younger blonde man walked up to the men as he stood next to Garp listening to the large grape man shouting at the poor marine soldier as he sweat-dropped looking at the scene in front of him
'So Captain Garp, What's Vice Admiral Xephyr so worked up about?' The older man shook his head and faced his junior, 'The Masayoshi is in trouble including everyone onboard'
'Are we abandoning our assignment?' asked the blonde, The older man just shrugged as he picked his nose, 'It seems that's the plan, He said nonchalantly as he flicked his booger making it land on the Grape man's hair, as the two men snickered
A Teen wearing an overly long hat climbed up to see what was going on and spotted the two cackling, 'Oi what's going on?'
Garp just pointed at the sticky green substance hanging off of the Vice-Admiral's head as his giggles became full-on laughter
The teenager just sighed as he rubbed his forehead before the Vice admiral turned around to face the three, 'Oi! Don't you have something better to do?!' he yelled at them before their backs straightened except Garp who just kept chuckling
As he smacked his head in frustration before pointing towards the front of the ship, 'If you have nothing better to do clean that shit up! That deck better be sparkling as soon as I come down there' He said before the two walked away leaving Garp and Xephyr alone
The man stopped laughing as a grin made its way across his face, 'Hey lighten up a bit won't ya? I'm pretty sure both Sengoku and Tsuru are making their way there as well'
The Vice-captain just shrugged before he turned towards the front of the ship to see the two mopping the deck, He sighed before scowling once more, 'Oi I don't see you mopping those floors!'
He said as he turned to face Garp who was nowhere to be found as he gritted his teeth before screaming at the top of his lungs
'GAAARP!'

Sorry for not uploading the past week, My first week at this new University has been exhausting and I didn't have any time to do anything ;(
I'll try to fix my uploading schedule to maybe 3-5 times a week instead of daily uploads until I get more free time other than that thanks for the support
