(Chapter 28) Pirates vs Marines
The sun rose as the Oro-Jackson made its way towards Wano to resupply, The high seas were unforgiving last night as the ship sailed through the harsh waves
Roger yawned as he walked out of his Quarters, "Hopefully we can find this kid some clothes, We don't have anything his size and that kimono is the only thing he wore" He sighed before walking towards the front of the ship
His face became solemn as he turned towards his left and saw a ship, He squinted his eyes only for them to narrow the next moment
'Marines heading out way! Everyone get into your positions' He ordered as the pirates scrambled onboard
'Shit they spotted us, Oh well the Roger pirates will be no more after today, Captain Garp go say Hi to our pirate friends will ya?' said Kong as Garp grinned
'Sounds good admiral!' came his reply before he jumped high up in the air, his fists blackened as a red hue covered it 'Planetary Impact!'
Roger grinned as he jumped off and headed towards the oncoming Marine, He drew his blade as it turned back and glowed bright red
First met with blade as the air parted around them, High waves formed as they made their way towards the ships
Garp and Roger bother grinned as they fought for domination, Garp gritted his teeth before being sent back towards his ship
Kong sighed seeing the Pirate getting the upper hand against one of their best as he caught Garp by the head before he could crash into the ship
He tossed him towards Sengoku who was sitting behind him before jumping towards Roger
He kicked the air under him using geppo to fly up as he met with Roger, his fists coated in Haki and gave him a strong punch to the stomach
Roger grinned as he had covered his abdominal area in haki as he kicked the Admiral
Rayleigh soon joined in the fight as he sent an air slash towards Kong who blocked it with one hand
Kong soon transformed into his hybrid state, He ate the Monkey Monkey fruit model silverback gorilla, It wasn't anything special just another Zoan devil fruit but the user of the fruit was terrifying, as he raised an arm and sent Compressed air towards the pair
Meanwhile onboard the ship, The crew started firing cannonballs towards the opposing ship
Only to be blocked by a purple-haired man who deflected the steel balls with one hand and tossed it to the other throwing them back
Ryu stood up from his bed and made his way upstairs, "What's going on are we being attacked?!"
After a few days, Ryu got his own room onboard the Oro-Jackson, He didn't leave his room most of the time but when he did it was usually for food
He opened the door to the outside, his eyes widened as he spotted people wearing strange uniforms fighting the people who rescued him
His face turns serious as he takes a deep breath before rushing out the door, 'First form: Unknowing Flame!'
His blade lights up as he zooms past the Marines onboard, He then sheaths his blade as a few seconds of silence go by, Then all the Marines fall limp as blood gushed down their torsos
The Crewmates look towards the kid wide-eyed as they have never seen such a technique in their life
Gaban grins as he looks towards Ryu giving him a thankful nod, He then jumps up to join the mid-air fight and he used an imitation of the geppo they came up with
Ryu sighs as he looks around the ship, Staying around these people the past few days made him attached
He's never seen such kindness from strangers other than Kyoku-sama or Masamune-san, both were very close to his grandfather but these people who didn't know him helped him so now it's his turn to help them
He then noticed something heading towards the ship as he spotted a purple-haired man wearing a commodore's coat heading straight for them
He sighs before rushing towards the man, His blade met his oncoming fists as sparks flew
'What kind of shit is this?! Pirates housing kids onboard what a joke!' Said the man before grabbing Ryu and throwing him onboard
'Oi kid don't get in the way! The Marines don't have any business with you if you try and fight the only thing that will happen is you getting a bounty on your head and being declared as a criminal and enemy to the world government, I suggest you come with us and leave otherwise' He raises his fist that was coated in haki before swiping a finger across his neck
Ryu gulped before his eyes narrowed 'As if I'm going to leave the people that helped me' He soon rushed towards the man
'Second form: Rising scorching sun!' as he spun in the air before delivering a vertical slash to the man's chest
Xepher gritted his teeth before sending the kid flying with a haki-infused punch right to the stomach 'Guess you chose option B! Well get ready to die!'
