#1 A Time Stopping Pirate (ToadShore Arc)

Around 16 years ago I was born in the one-piece world, Well to be honest I died and kind of become like this god or something like that.

I thought about it for years upon years, which was really a couple of seconds. Back in my old life, I liked something called anime so I decided I wanted to travel to those worlds for a couple of years each.

To make it short or fair I gave myself the ability to stop time for however long I like, Looks like I and Dio have something in common.

Anyways around a couple of weeks ago I left my brother Luffy to set sail and go to the West Blue, Luffy should be leaving in a couple of days. I just didn't want him taking all the action, I plan to meet him at the tragic Marineford War, Or when he's fighting Kaido.

Garp named me Monkey D, Edward. I mean he could've picked a better name but I guess it is what it is, I've been looking around for an island but I can't seem to find one.

Time had passed and he was still sailing on his little tiny boat, I doubt you could even call it a boat. It was more of a small raft.

Some more time passed and he had finally come across an island, He stood up put his sword in his scabbard, and hopped onto the island.

The first thing he heard was multiple things at once, Talking, Laughing, etc.

The one thing that stood out was definitely all the frogs jumping all around the place, and that's what the island was named after.

Well, it was named toadshore but the creators somehow got them mixed up and thought Toads were frogs and frogs were toads.

After some time they figured it out and just didn't feel like changing it, It had been that name for 35 years and maybe longer so they just kept it the same name.

He started walking around, continuously having to stop to let some frogs pass the road, But then he finally made it to a town.

Every place was frog-themed, and most of the citizens were wearing frog-themed clothes, The only place that wasn't themed like the rest of the town was the marine base right in the middle of the town.

Yes, this place was home to marines, Most of the pirates that took a step on the island were captured, If they had no bounty and just a jolly roger on their ship they were still captured.

But time and time has passed and no one dares to take a step onto the island, it's because a new Commander had been assigned as in charge of the marines/base on the island.

Apparently, the last commander of the island was corrupt, He used his title to strike fear into the citizens, he didn't really get fired he just got demoted as the right-hand man of the commander, so he still has a little bit of power.

Edward had his hands inside his pockets looking up at the marine base and other parts of the town. He was quite hungry not having anything to eat in about a day or two.

He spotted a bar and he went inside of it, when he walked inside the bar everyone got quiet and all eyes went onto him.

But quickly after he took a seat the noise started up again, the gambling, the talking, yelling, and everything.

Apparently the bar owner's birthday was today and half of the village was there to support, give him gifts, and just overall wish him a happy birthday.

Most of the people in this village grew up going to the bar with their parents, on top of the bar there was some sort of hotel, you could book a room and stay there.

A woman walked over to Edward with a menu and set it down on the wooden table he was sitting at.

"Please get me if you need anything, In a couple of minutes, I'll be back to take your order. So for now just sit down and relax, If it makes you feel better take a look out the window and look at the nice frogs jumping around."

He rubbed the back of his head and smiled at her before opening his menu. "Yes can do it, It'll only take me a couple of minutes maybe even seconds."

The young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes walked away with a happy expression, he opened his menu and began looking around.

'These prices are expensive, 20,000 berries (20 dollars) for a burger.'

He sat there taking his wallet out of his pocket, He opened it up to see cobwebs and other stuff. Although this does make some sense, he stopped time for some time to make it to the west blue.

He didn't want Luffy to be the star of his show so he went somewhere Luffy wouldn't be, but he also didn't want to go ahead of Luffy.

So that is why he stopped time, right about now Luffy should have just entered Orange town not too long ago. Actually, he's entered log town just right now.

So now Edward will go on with his legacy while Luffy goes on to his legacy.

The woman came back with the same smile on her face.

"Are you ready to order? Or do you need some more time?"

Edward closed his menu and put it down on the table. "Yes I'm ready to order, Can I please just have a burger and some water.

She nodded her head and walked away, she went into the kitchen and after a few minutes, she came back with his food.

His stomach grumbled as he looked at the food, he started to drool while looking at the food. He then took a bite and finished his food in a little amount of time.

A person slammed the door open making it fall off, he came in walking with 2 swords on his hip, they were in a scabbed.

He had dark blue hair, it looked black but you could notice that it was dark blue. He had a scar going from the right side of his forehead to the bottom side of his left cheek.

Everyone's yelling and laughing turned to silence, when the man sat down the silence was still there, it wasn't Like Edward where the silence stopped but continued after he sat down.

The owner of the bar came from the back room moving slowly with his cane, he looked at the man and smiled getting him a drink.

"So you back for some more bounty posters? Roronoa Rojo?"
