Ch.64 Travelling again

Also, this world can be considered an AU. I tried to add it to the tag but I couldn't find it so I have just mentioned it in the synopsis.

As Ryuu said his goodbyes to Hinata in her office he quickly entered his room and packed all of his belongings. He could say goodbye to the other Knights captains but he doesn't feel like it.

"It was fun staying here," Ryuu said as he looked outside the window of his room.

With a breeze, he disappeared from his room and appeared on top of the city wall. He didn't want to go out of the city by the main gate as he knew that he would be swarmed.

So without a second thought, he jumped from the tall wall to outside the city. In the middle of his dive, he disappeared from everybody's view.

He did say to Hinata that he would leave tomorrow but that was a lie. Though Hinata seems to have known his intention so it's not a big problem.

It has been two weeks since Ryuu had left the city and currently his life could be said to be miserable. He seems to have underestimated his newfound popularity as everywhere he goes there is at least somebody who knows his face.

This has made it so that he can't have any peace in the city, always being swarmed by people. And these people don't seem to understand the meaning of personal space.

So faced with all of these problems the only solution he could think of was to leave the city for the jungles.

Well, he could have worn a mask but he didn't find any good one plus even the shopkeeper knew his face so it wouldn't really hide his identity greatly.

So now alone in the forest, his daily routine has been to hunt monsters and train. he is currently traveling toward the city of Dwargon as he shouldn't be that well known in that part of the world.

Today was also a normal day for him as he was hunting some A-rank monsters in the forest. Though they aren't a good form of training for him they can be considered as a good source of income.

After all the reason he is going to Dwargon is to make some equipment for himself as he currently doesn't have the best of it.

Chink

As he finished the monster and was collecting the valuable parts he heard the sound of a sword clashing against something hard.

Quickly expanding his senses he tried to find the source of the sound. In a matter of seconds he found the sound source and seeing who it was he was surprised.

With a small smile on his face, he went toward the direction of the sound at a quick pace.

As he reached there what greeted him was the sight of a masked woman fighting a monster.

The monster was four meters tall and looked like a giant beetle but with razor-sharp claws.

The woman did a downward slice toward the monster but was blocked by the claws of the monster. From the looks of it, the monster seemed to be A+ rank in terms of strength but the woman was also losing any ground.

"ARARARARARARAR" With a loud screech the monster attacked the woman with its claw, the woman blocked it but was thrown back.

She quickly stabilized herself and looked at the monster as she was going to do her next attack she stopped because.

"Need any help Shizu san," Ryuu asked while still staying in the background. Sjizu looked at him with her masked face and said.

"Thank you but I don't think I will need it." 

As she said that her sword was covered with red flames and with a great burst of speed she sliced at the monster.

The monster tried to block it with its claw but it was useless as the claw was slicked in half. With one of her attacks done, she continued with another and sliced the other claw of the monster.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" the monster roared in pain. 

Even then Shizu didn't stop and with a well-timed attack she pierced the monster's head with her sword. Using her flames she burned the inside of the monster effectively killing it.

"Haa Haa Haa" She took deep breaths as she sheathed her blade.

"Want some water?" Ryuu said after appearing beside her and handing her a bottle of water.

"Thank you," Shizu said as she took off her mask and gave Ryuu a smile. Taking the bottle of water she drank it quenching her thirst.

"Fancy meeting you here, Shizu san," Ryyu said with a smile as Shizu finished drinking the water.

"Likewise Mr Hero," Shiju replied with a cheeky smile. As she said that word Ryuu's smile got destroyed and he sat on the ground with a depressed face.

"Even you." He muttered while making circles in the ground.

"Hehehe." Shizu giggled looking at Ryuu's behaviour. After all, she understands what Ryuu must be going through currently as she had suffered for the same reason in the past though on a smaller scale.

"I am sorry, OK," Shizu spoke while sitting right next to Ryuu.

"hmm," Ryuu then looked to his side to find Shizu's face right next to his.

Both of them could feel their breath on each other's faces. Ryuu quickly stood up but there wasn't any change in his facial expression. After all such type of situation has happened to him many times. Well, he says that but if you look at his ears you will find them a little red.

Shizu was the opposite as her face was completely red so she quickly wore her mask to hide her embracement.

And just like that the situation became awkward. Both of them stayed silent for a while especially Shizu who didn't even move from her place.

After a while the silence Ryuu finally spoke breaking the awkwardness in the air.

"So what may you be doing here Shizu san? I thought you were in Sarion." Ryuu asked as the last time they parted ways Shizu said that she would stay in Sarion for a while.

(A/N: Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Shizu part is going to happen as last time I made some mistakes while writing her. So it's time for me to fix my mistake and sail this ship. Anyway goodbye for now and see you in the next chapter.)
