Ch.115 The Dragons Death

Another strike followed by millions more, those are the only thoughts I can think of for now, or perhaps I can think more. Even I am not too sure.

Looking at the surroundings that have lost all its color I move through the empty void as I continue to attack the dragon.

With each step I take I am able to attack millions of times and it continues to increase, my body is barely able to hold on.

Another strike, I wonder will I even remember this moment after completely waking up, don't know don't care. Perhaps I do, I don't really know, or do I?

Never mind I just need to kill this dragon and that's it, I just need to cut it and all this will be solved.

Ryuu continued to attack the dragon without stopping, with the blade in his right hand he sliced and sliced getting faster by the step.

And with another strike, the blade shattered breaking down into fragments that fell to the ground and this seems to have been the signal as Ryuu also fell face down to the ground.

The wounds on his body that hadn't healed due to him using all of his energy to attack slowly started to heal.

Fuuuuuuu!

It seems the world finally noticed what had happened as time started to move normally for Ryuu, and in that very instant.

BANG!

With a single big explosion that was caused by all of Ryuu's attacks hitting at once, the entire cave started to collapse, and the pathways that Ryuu had run through already collapsed.

As for the dragon it was fighting for its life, all the trillions upon trillions of attacks that Ryuu had thrown its way started to hit it at the same time.

Crack!

The mighty scales that had withstood all of Ryuu's attacks to this point started to crack as blood flowed from throughout its body.

"Rooooooooooooor"

The dragon roared in pain unable to form any intelligible words as it as blood flowed from every part of its body.

Its once sturdy body now bloodied started to collapse on itself as slowly but surely sword marks started to appear throughout its body.

"Noooooo, I can't die now."

The dragon cried out as it refused to acknowledge its impending doom, but that was futile as the chances of his survival were near impossible.

And that was the problem that arose for Ryuu as it was near impossible and not impossible, the dragon burning through all the remaining magicule activated its skill.

Deception of face, a cheat skill that makes impossible possible and so it did as the changes of his survival became a possibility and all of the wounds suffered by it started to heal.

The dragon cheated death and got away with it. That is why those who wield Ultimate skills are called ultimate beings as each of them has powers to play with the very universe itself.

"HAHAHAHAH, I am alive."

The Dragon burst out in hysterical laughter as flew through the now collapsing cave, the sense of relief washed upon its being that was then converted into hate.

The hate and rage it felt toward Ryuu was so much so that it can't be explained with words alone. Someone whom it saw as a lesser being made it reach the death door, someone it saw as entertainment made it fear for its life.

How can it, a mighty dragon created by "Him" be able to take such an insult, it must erase the one who made it feel such same from the world.

The dragon turned its head and looked at the figure of Ryuu slowly healing but still standing up and pointing his broken sword at the dragon.

From a closer look into his eyes, it is clear that he has no sense of self currently as his body is moving by complete instinct.

Seeing this angered the dragon even more, after all, an attack that was able to make it reach the death door must also kill its wielder. That is the only exchange when someone can even hope to kill it.

"Die."

With a voice filled with rage and hate the dragon rushed toward Ryuu and attacked him with its massive claw.

The weakened Ryuu wasn't even able to react as he was sent flying into the wall of the now even deeper cave.

With that he hit the wall and blood splattered, the wall behind him started to collapse as he was pushed deeper and deeper into the wall.

With the last thud, he fell into an empty space inside the wall the broken sword from his hands fell to the ground as his breathing became labored.

[Master, I am starting the escape program.]

True Sage said but Ryuu didn't reply as he stood up with his body not even being able to stand up straight, his hands wised for a sword, and from the corner of his eyes he saw one.

A sword embedded into the floor itself, it gave a beautiful glow of magnificent gold, under normal conditions Ryuu would have been wary of it.

After all, why wouldn't he be, getting a sword when he needed it out of nowhere is way to suspicious.

But this wasn't the normal Ryuu as the only thought that was going through his head was.

Cut, Cut, and Cut.

So with that, he walked toward the sword slowly, limping all the way. The sound of the dragon tearing through the cave walls to reach Ryuu could be heard.

His hands touched the sword and with all the strength he could currently muster he pulled it out of the ground.

Bam!

Exploding through the cave wall the Dragon arrived in front of Ryuu who was wielding his newly acquired sword.

The dragon sneered at such a sight as it got ready to finish Ryuu up.

But Ryuu didn't care for its thought as he leaped with all his remaining and did a normal vertical slice toward the dragon.

It was a strike of a novice with no technique involved, in fact even a novice may be able to do a better strike as his sword was wobbling.

The dragon stood there without doing anything, it wanted to mock its opponent, it wanted to make Ryuu see how futile his struggle was.

It had already used its calculation and there was no way that slashes could even damage it, it even used the Deception of Faith with what magicule it had remaining to make sure that the attack would not hurt it.

Without knowing all of this the only thought that was going through Ryuu's mind was to cut the dragon.

And as if the sword heard his thoughts it glowed a little just before it made contact with the dragon.

The dragon stood there proudly waiting for the sword to bounce off its body, but that didn't happen.

To the surprise of every sentient being currently involved the sword sliced through the dragon's body like a hot knife through butter.

The dragon wasn't even given time to understand its situation as the light of life from its eyes disappeared and it was sliced up in half.

True Sage watched the scene unfold with surprise as she started the analysis of the sword in Ryuu's hand, finally understanding what it was True Sage calmed down.

It also stopped the escape program as all the dangers have been eliminated.

With the death of the ruler of this dungeon, the dungeon properly collapsed as Ryuu remained buried in the rubble.
