Omniscience in Marvel 31

Title - 'Fierce' Battle and Timeskip

Normal POV

It was like your everyday event going on in the Universe at large. The Inhabitants of Chitauri prime woke up as usual with their minds and will connected to that of the Hive.

It was all normal. Nothing out of the ordinary in the slightest. Until…Several Boomtubes Heralded the arrival of Leucadius and his Army. Chitauri Prime was a planet that didn't really need a sun but still had a source of light.

However that Source of light was exponentially dimmed by the Light being radiated by Wings of the Seraphs. Leucadius had no problems seeing through the light, but from an outsider perspective, other than his body, nothing could be seen.

At first, whether it was because of the confusion of the Hive, the Chitauri(Plural) all stopped whatever they were doing and observed their visitors.

This observation took so long that even Leucadius was confused about what was going on. From what he'd gathered from The Worldmind and the willing Kree Superiors, the Chitauri's first course of action was to attack.

If only He knew that the Hive was determining whether the Bird People who just invaded its home were long lost cousins, his confusion wouldn't have lasted.

Seeing their lack of violence, Leucadius took it as a sign of goodwill and threw away all his thoughts of starting a massacre. Taking a deep breath, he began. "People of Chitauri Prime…I come bearing good tidings. I recently came to know that in your possession lies an artifact of infinite power."

"Now, as I am gracious and almighty, I have come to a peaceful arrangement with your previous invaders. Life is too precious to be wasted on things such as wars…"

{Sir, war is a result of conflicting interests. It's inevitable to lose lives in wars.}

'Aspect?'

{Sir.}

'If I wanted your opinion…I would ask.'

{I see.}

'No. You're supposed to understand.'

{...}

That conversation took less than a mili-second so Leucadius just looked like he took a momentary pause before he continued. "The Infinity Stone. Hand it over peacefully and I will ensure it returns to you as soon as we're done with it."

Leucadius finished with a gratified smile. For someone who came up with the speech on the spot, he felt truly proud of himself for not messing it up or even fumbling with his words. 'Seems like diplomacy is one of my hidden skills afterall.' he thought, however, contrary to his expectations, as soon as the word Infinity Stone was mentioned, all the Chitauri went into a frenzy and began attacking him.

"Oh shit!" He exclaimed in shock. The Chitauri didn't look like anything more than ants and insects made of steel and metal. However he didn't expect them to be able to transform parts of their bodies into weapons.

And by weapons, he meant lightsabers, swords and energy guns.

"It seems we've reached an impasse." He said with a sigh. "Plan A it is then. Attack!" He ordered and then sat back to get a clear view on his men fighting.

He had already checked the Chitauri fighting power and had come to the conclusion that they were even weaker than an average human. Their only advantage was the hive mind as well as their physiology.

The hive mind gave them an impeccable sense in coordination which would prove to be a problem to weaker or individuals on the same strength levels. To his hosts however, they were like a group of…Rodents charging against a group of Eagles, and the outcome was obvious.

Without the Archangels actually needing to battle, the normal ones were already conducting a massacre. With a metal as powerful as the Divinium, they were like apex predators on the battlefield.

The Divinium, as already explained, was created by Leucadius after a series of experiments on other metals. Having soaked up his energy, they were unique to him and those sharing his energy.

That is to say, no one could pick or use it without having a sort of connection to him. And even if they could pick it up, it'll be nothing but your average metal.

In the hands of the angels, whatever weapon they used provided them with passive defenses due to the aura it exudes. However it wasn't all powerful. Heavy bombardment could shake said defense, or even shatter it. It was then left to the angel in possession of the weapon to transfer his/her energy into the weapon.

"The ending is as expected. You seven should keep an eye here. I'll be retrieving what we came for." Leucadius said while glancing at the Seven Archangels who had their attention fully focused on their men.

"As you command father." They all said in unison. Leucadius noticed Uriel's eyes glowing in excitement as he replied and couldn't help but shake his head.

'Uriel is a little bit battle hungry for his own good. Hopefully, he doesn't go against his core directives.' He thought, as a Boomtube appeared and swallowed him and his guards.

Stepping out of the Portal, he was met with a sight that could only be described as horrendous. Whether It was the design or the aesthetics at which the room was made…it was horrible.

"Was this perhaps…A planet filled with insects as its dominant species?" Leucadius spoke to himself as he looked around.

The Hive-Mind is a mental and metaphysical realm that physically connects the Chitauri to one another and then, to their main server.

The room Leucadius entered was a sprawling chamber and In the center of the chamber stood a towering structure, its sleek metallic surface adorned with intricate patterns and symbols that seemed to shift and change with every passing moment.

This was the Nexus of Unity, the heart of the Chitauri Hive-Mind, and the source of their collective consciousness.

"It's a giant fucking centipede!" Leucadius cursed not minding his image. He couldn't help it as he felt a chill down his spine. No man, woman, or child will say they didn't have a fear of crawling creatures with multiple legs.

And to make it worse, it was a fucking gigantic monstrosity of a centipede.

{Sir, you've faced off against a being such as Seth. This much should cause you fear.}

"Aspect?"

{Sir.}

"Shut up."

{...}

Leucadius shook his head as his assessment continued. The air hummed with a palpable energy, vibrating with the combined thoughts and emotions of the Chitauri connected to the Hive-Mind, however, he felt something odd about this energy.

{It is the Infinity Stone, sir.}

"I can tell that much Aspect." Leucadius replied and let out a deep breath. "And I presume there isn't an intelligence to communicate to."

{Unfortunately sir.}

The place was one of immense power and significance, a testament to the technological prowess and psychic abilities of the Chitauri Species. However there was an error.

Unlike with Aspect or the Worldmind of the Kree, this one is like a collective mind. It was a no-brainer, considering its name, however Leucadius held out hope that there would be something to have a conversation with.

But as it stood now, it was like communicating with a human who had billions of consciousness within his mind, making it impossible.

As Leucadius gazed upon the Nexus, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and trepidation. This was the focal point of the Chitauri's control over their vast empire, and to challenge it was to challenge the very essence of their existence.

"They wouldn't die if I pulled out the Mind Stone, would they?"

{The energy readings are out of my capability sir. However, after running a possibility simulation, there is a possibility of them facing a momentary setback in their evolution.} Aspect said while showing Him a holographic chart.

"A setback? Wouldn't it be better that way for their evolution?"

{It's similar to addiction sir. The withdrawal may or may not lead to their extinction. Their race was built upon this very energy released by the Mind Stone.}

"That means if I take the Mind Stone, I would need to take in the Entire Chitauri race under me? Just to avoid their extinction?"

{I'm afraid so, sir.}

"Hmm, that will lead to a huge butterfly in a few thousand years to come." Leucadius said. This was the race that Thanos will be using to attack Earth in a few millennia, taking away the Mind Stone and the Chitauri Species will be both detrimental and annoying to him.

He didn't have the time to take care of this entire species while still maintaining the timeline. Also, He was sure that the Worldmind did acquire the mind stone, used it to upgrade itself and later lost it to the Chitauri again.

"We'll take that gamble. If they are still alive when we're done with it, then I'll just return it. If they manage to survive the withdrawal symptoms and begin a counterattack, we'll be long done with your upgrade to be worried about that." Leucadius said with a conclusive tone and Aspect knew there was no changing it and kept silent.

"Now then…I wonder how a centipede with the Mind Stone fights." Leucadius said and stood up from his throne.

"Father."

"What? You think you're capable of stopping the energy release from the Mind Stone? Stay with Aspect, if anything goes awry, you'll pull me out." He said and thought. 'Although I don't think it's possible.'

'Now,' He thought and let loose his Energy causing the giant centipede to turn to him and Shriek.

The sound blast alone almost pushed Leucadius off his feet if not for his quick thinking to use Gravity to hold himself down in place. 'Now that's something.' he thought and conjured a golden shield in front of him, blocking a tentacle-like spear that was aiming to skewer him.

"Hmm, admirable physical strength." He said and shot a series of energy spears at the Centipede to test it out. Fortunately for him, the Centipede didn't put up a defense. Either it didn't know how, or it didn't see the spear as a threat to its life.

Leucadius was undeterred though. Channeling his energy, he created a black orb that he let float atop his palm. The air around the orb seemed to be shimmering as though it was about to be torn asunder.

"Have a taste of this. Although it's black, it's actually supposed to be blue." He said and threw it at the giant Centipede. The insect shrieked again in what Leucadius could only perceive to be fright. However before he could smile at this, the orb disintegrated before it hit.

"What?!"

{Sir, the Centipede seems to be able to access the Mind Stone.}

"How..?" He asked rhetorically as his figure disappeared only for a hole to appear where he once stood. "I thought it was only using it to elevate its mental ability." He said as he appeared above the insect.

{It-}

"Be quiet. I know." Leucadius interrupted as his figure disappeared again as an Energy blast passed his afterimage no longer had he just disappeared.

"Similar to my Absolute Intelligence, the Mind Stone gives it the ability to analyze and act accordingly towards anything it perceives." Leucadius said exactly what Aspect would've said.

"This is basically a battle against myself…. interesting." Leucadius said as his expression changed to that of excitement. "Then bring it on."

A spear and a sword appeared in his two hands. Pouring his cosmic energy inside them caused them to hum loudly. The light they exuded was so bright that Leucadius' figure became light itself, and as soon as he was done, he disappeared.

What followed was a loud shriek, this time, a painful one as one of its legs was cut off. "You see little insects, when I fight against someone like myself…I don't compete. I go the other way." He said and disappeared again only for another shriek to be heard.

"The one thing I have that you don't…is my physical strength, mobility and technique." He said again before disappearing, but this time, he felt a bit of pressure before he was able to cut off a leg.

"Ah. That Mind Stone wasn't wasted on you. You really are intelligent." He said with a chuckle. "Let's go again."

In that last strike, he was able to cut through the Centipede's leg although with slight efforts, the cause was that the Centipede was getting wiser. With Leucadius' disappearance, he lost a leg, so at the moment of his disappearance, it coated its entire body with the energy provided by the Mind Stone.

It felt a moment of accomplishment at the fact and was able to stop itself from shrieking in pain, but just as it thought it had gotten an upper hand, a large magic circle appeared above it and rained down spikes of different elements.

Just as it was about to cancel them all, it felt something stab into its abdomen…one of its many abdomen and just as it was about to look down to ascertain what it was, he heard. "Hakai."

That was the last word it was able to compute before the spears of various elements made contact with its body, and as though that wasn't enough, his entire abdomen was totally destroyed.

If that was all, it would've been okay, however, the destruction seemed to be infectious and from its abdomen, climbed up, all the way to its head, disintegrating everything as it moved.

Casting one last look at his opponent, an unwilling look passed through its eyes before it disappeared, and as It did, a crystal stone glowing with a luminosity fell to the fall…or should have if not for Leucadius who quickly caught it before teleporting back to his chair.

"I guess that's…mission accomplished." He said with a smile. "We may leave now."

With that, Boomtubes appeared behind him and every single Host of Angels, directly swallowing them and returning them back to the ship.
