Omniscience in Marvel 28

Title - First Contact and Prelude to Battle

...

Chitauri Prime. The Home Planet of the Chitauri Species. Had two asteroid ring belts rotating around it. From an external view, that was how it looked, however, upon coming close, that will be the opposite.

One of the two Rotating ring belts was a fleet of warships and Chitauri Leviathans. It is composed of debris and asteroids. Due to its erratic orbit, the planet's surface is hundreds of degrees below zero for years at a time.

"An entire species…all under the control of an…Intelligence of sorts." Leucadius muttered in confusion…"Ah! The Hive mind." He shouted and sat up from his reclining position.

"It's possible isn't it? The stone we're looking for could be the reason behind it." Leucadius said slowly

{Affirmative Sir. Should the Infinity Stones have the capabilities you say they have, then it is but a simple feat to give birth to an Artificial intelligence after years of Exposure.} Came ASPECT's reply which seemed to be in tune to what Leucadius was thinking.

"Then I believe you know what to do?"

{Forgive me sir, but from the Energy Radiation I'm receiving through the sensors, I would be on the losing end should I engage in a Cybernetic battle with it.} Aspect said which caused Leucadius to frown and look at his chair in disdain.

"After all the resources I've poured into you, you're still only at this Level?"

{It would appear that compared to the creator of the Infinity Stones, you're still quite incapable.}

"Hey. First off, that's a wrong use of demeaning words. Second…it appears you're right. Tsk." Leucadius clicked his tongue before turning his attention to the information being presented to him.

"So? What do we do?"

{To reach the Central hub, which appears to be the Core of the Planet, a great battle is inevitably doomed to occur.}

"I see. How's our fighting power?"

{The Homunculi are already prepared Sir. All that's left is your power bestowal.}

"Hmm." Leucadius hummed as a white orb appeared In Front of him. Placing his hands on it, he closed his eyes and reverse summoned the spiritual entities he had created into the orb.

Leucadius kept this on for a few seconds before he pulled back his hand and opened his eyes. "Those will do to run this ship for a while."

{Understood.} Aspect voice resounded throughout the room as the orb disappeared. Leucadius didn't pay it any heed and turned his attention to the screen.

As for the Power bestowal, that was a sub-ability of Biology Manipulation, which was a sub-ability of matter manipulation. Succinctly, it was the ability to awaken any set of power in any biological creature you created.

With the spiritual entities already possessing their key ability, combining them with the Homunculi would then bestow whatever ability it was.

"Of those four, I could be counted as invincible for a while." Leucadius muttered to himself. "Perhaps a diversion will do." He said.

With four Seraphs, he could maintain a certain level of Invincibility as far as his energy levels are up for it. "So with the Archangels as the vanguard, I could just barge in from the behind or something."

{That is unadvised sir.}

"Ugh. Why is that?" Leucadius groaned. He wasn't in the mood to wrack his brain to come up with one when it came to individuals that didn't pose much of a threat to him.

The Chitauri were strong. No doubt, but that was all because of their Hive Mind. They had no fear of death whatsoever, that makes them dangerous, other than that, they were weak.

Weaker than even the current generation of humans. Adam aside. Other than their weapons nothing else was that much of a threat. And when it came to Weapon's strength, Leucadius was confident enough in Aspect and his ship.

{Sir, I just picked up on a signal on another Fleet of Ships making their way to the Planet.} ASPECT's calm and soothing voice came bearing new.

"Anything we can get on them?"

{Negative. Other than their similar highly advanced tech, I can't get a read on anything else. They too seem to possess some form of Artificial Intelligence.} Aspect said, sounding exasperated for some reason.

"Hmm. Must be pretty tough having to meet two of your siblings only for them to be a threat Huh?" Leucadius asked with a snigger which caused the ship to jerk.

"Hey! Are you being petty right now?"

{I fail to comprehend the meaning of that word Sir}

"Ah…I see. I see you." Leucadius said before changing the topic again. "What do you think this new one wants? And do you think you can defeat him?"

{I am unable to provide that information sir.} Leucadius heard before the ship hummed and disappeared once again. {We've arrived at the optimal distance we can reach without alerting the Hive Mind. We have 25 minutes of Earth Time before the new arrivals reach the Solar system.}

"I see. And my Hosts?" Leucadius asked only for portals to open before depositing hundreds of Angels. The most notable ones were the ones Four with three pairs of Azure blue wings.

With what looked like an instant, the four were already surrounding Leucadius' throne. 'Oh?' He thought in awe of their swift movements. If not because he was the person who bestowed them the abilities, he also wouldn't have seen them move.

Within a certain radius, they were that powerful, and as they surrounded him, so was he even if he didn't attack.

The next were a group of seven angels. While they also had the same appearance as the others, their Presence spoke of power the rest could hope to achieve.

Micheal, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Azazel, Zadkiel and Azrael.

Leucadius had decided to name them as they were. He didn't hope that any of them would actually fall, as even if they did, it'll be similar to banning a kid from coming back home, while they still work for his faction.

And behind these seven were the rest of the Hosts. Who all went on their knees when he glanced at them. This act caused his brows to twitch but he didn't break character.

"Other than these four, put away your wings." He said softly. They all complied and put it away causing Leucadius to smile. "You will all have a pad given to you by my Second-in-Command here. ASPECT."

As Leucadius said that, hard light constructs began to form as the figure of Aspect was revealed to them. The sight caused Leucadius' brows to twitch again.

ASPECT's appearance was similar to him in all but none, nonetheless, Leucadius continued. "He will show you all what to do and what I expect from you. You may leave."

"You guys aren't leaving?" Shun asked the four standing around him and asked, however what he got wasn't a vocal answer but one on a much deeper scale.

<Our existential purpose is to ensure your safety at all times father.>

He heard their voices for the first time and was pleased. To think that their Voices when used together would sound so pleasant.

"I'm plenty safe inside my own Ship ladies. A little bit of privacy would be appreciated." Leucadius said with a smile and was suddenly hit with a wave of emotions from the link.

"Why are you all feeling sad?"

<Father doesn't appreciate our presence>

"What? How did you come up with that conclusion?" Leucadius asked befuddled.

<Since our Creation in the Golden City, you rarely ever visit. Upon summoning us out, quickly dismiss us. That could only mean that presence is displeasing to you.>

"That…is so not true." Leucadius said with a calm soft voice. 'I'm not that insensitive, am I? And that's not how it is.' he thought.

"I merely assumed you would like to explore more of the ship since it was your first time out." Leucadius continued.

<Your presence alone is all we require.>

"Hmm. Suit yourself." Leucadius said giving up. He knew when to give up an argument he knows would not be fruitful. He'd lived with Gaea and had small talks with Thena for over a century. One of the reasons behind his sane state of mind is knowing when to say 'You win'.

"Do you Four know what we'll be doing from now?"

<We're your guards, Father, and safety is our responsibility.>

"Hmm. That is very much appreciated, but that won't be necessary. You'll ensure that no matter what happens, none of your siblings come out harmed, " Leucadius said.

Seconds later, their ship came to a halt outside their asteroid belt, but as Leucadius was about to enquire about the situation, an announcement was made.

{All personnel are hereby instructed to prepare for imminent battle,} the commanding voice of ASPECT echoed throughout the ship. {We have detected incoming fleets of unknown origin approaching the planet. Engage all defensive measures and stand ready for combat.}

Leucadius sat up on his throne, a fiery look in his eyes as he addressed his Hosts. "It seems our time for action has come. Remember, our primary objective is to protect the integrity of this ship and ensure the safety of all onboard."

The four Seraphs surrounding him nodded solemnly, their azure wings shimmering faintly in the dim light of the command chamber. <We understand, Father,> they spoke in unison,

Leucadius acknowledged this with a nod before turning his attention to the holographic display in front of him. "ASPECT, deploy the defensive barriers and prepare to engage the enemy fleets. Coordinate with the Hosts and ensure that our offensive capabilities are optimized."

{Understood, Sir. Defensive measures are being initiated, and the Hosts are on standby for combat assignments.}

Both Leucadius and Aspect were of one mind that they should first take care of the incoming ship before focusing all their attention on the Chitauri Planet.

Although they were merely a thousand in general, Leucadius had no inkling of doubt that he'll lose against whatever civilization he was up against.

{Sir, We're receiving some form of signal. It appears they have the intention of communicating with us.}

"Hmm. Let it through." Leucadius said and reclined back on his chair.

As the communication channel opened, a holographic image materialized before Leucadius, revealing an imposing figure of dorning what looked like a military uniform with a lot of honors.

His stern expression and authoritative demeanor left little doubt as to his status among his people.

"Greetings, I am Sentinel Dra-Tor from the Kree Empire. State your name and origin." The man began causing Leucadius to raise an eye. 'Was that an order..?' he thought but thought nothing of it and replied.

"Leucadius."

The two men stared at each other for a good while without any of them flinching. Dra-Tor finally hummed and said.

"Greetings, Leucadius," Dra-Tor began, his gaze piercing through the holographic projection. "We have detected your presence near Chitauri Prime and seek to establish communication."

Leucadius regarded him with a measured gaze, his mind already assessing the potential implications of this encounter. "Sentinel Dra-Tor," he replied evenly, his voice carrying an air of calm authority. "I am Leucadius, sovereign of this vessel. What brings the Kree Empire to this remote corner of the galaxy?"

Dra-Tor's expression remained impassive, though a flicker of curiosity passed in his eyes. "We have long monitored the activities of the Chitauri and have laid claim to this place. It would be wise to turn around and depart this star region."

"Oh? Why would I agree to such a demand?" Leucadius asked with a chuckle.

"Because if you don't. We'll be forced to see you as an enemy of the Empire and will be treated as such." The Man said with a threatening glare to which Leucadius just snorted

"Have at it then. I'll be giving you the chance. Ten attacks. After ten attacks and I'm not forced to leave, I'll be sending you all on your way to the afterlife." Leucadius said with an equally threatening glare.

"You wish to make an enemy of the Kree?"

"Who the fuck do you think you are? Kree this, Kree that. You haven't said a complete sentence without adding the Word Kree. What is up with that level of obsession?" Leucadius asked while Leveling the sentinel with a look of disdain.

"You-" the man was about to speak again, however the communication was cut. "What's our defensive capability?" he immediately asked ASPECT.

{Our defensive capability is at optimal levels, Sir. The ship's shields are fully operational, and we have activated all defensive systems. Additionally, our offensive capabilities are primed and ready for engagement. We are prepared to repel any hostile attacks that may approach.}

"Good. Once their Ten attacks are over, we attack. We'll use them to announce ourselves to the Galaxy and Universe at large. Have those Seven ready."

{Understood.} Aspect said before it's presence disappeared from the Ships Central Hub.
