Title: Time Passes
---
Years flew by as I delved deep into the vast dump of knowledge within Gaea's library. With each passing day, I found myself immersed in the wonders of science, technology, and magic.
It was one thing to instinctively know what you need to know about your Universe or Multiverse as a God, but as a normal human, acquiring knowledge from the beginning had its own allure.
When it came to science, I learnt of the fundamental principles governing the natural world as we know it. From the intricate workings of quantum mechanics to the laws of thermodynamics.
Yup. Thermodynamics is one of the Laws that actually made the World turn. Freely, I know, but it is what it is.
The law of thermodynamics and the principles that govern energy and its transformations. The law which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another, and the second law, which describes the tendency of systems to move towards a state of greater disorder, known as entropy.
Yup. Newton's law was actually quite well known to Humans before their destruction.
I absorbed every detail with fervent curiosity, the mysteries of genetics, unraveling the secrets of DNA and the weirdness of inheritances. Through these studies, I gained some understanding on the mechanisms behind genetic variation and the factors influencing traits, including the concept of dominant and recessive genes.
In my exploration of genetics, I uncovered the secrets encoded within the DNA molecules that make up the blueprint of life. I got to know about the structure of DNA, with its double helix shape and the sequence of nucleotide bases that encode genetic information.
With that little information, a lot of things could be done…
I also got to learn about the mechanisms of gene expression and regulation, discovering how genes are turned on and off to control various biological processes.
Basically, I could decide that for 10 generations, one unique trait will remain no matter what. It could be strength, intelligence, charisma, Beauty…anything.
It wouldn't surprise me if this is how some Gods manage to keep a particular bloodline in a position of power for generations.
Why I say God and not the 21 century human is that, according to my knowledge, they weren't able to do that yet.
Through my continued studies, I understood the mechanisms behind genetic variation and the inheritance of traits. I learned about the concept of recessive genes, which are traits that are only expressed when inherited from both parents, and how they contribute to the diversity of life on Earth.
That's exactly why Cronus, Gaea's son with Oranos, didn't possess a Divinity. But since it was locked away in both him and Rhea, his sister and wife, it managed to be unlocked in his children.
Good to know.
This is when I came upon one startling discovery. We Rejects amongst the Deviants are actually and truly Unique. The reason behind it is that while Eternals had a subtle and mild Cosmic Energy coursing through them, Deviants have the opposite.
So when two dominant Deviants with Chaotic Cosmic Energy give birth to a Child, it turns out to be a Reject. Basically the Deviant Gene is recessive in us…
It's a wonder those deviants didn't discover this simple thing despite their understanding of Science and Technology. Or maybe they knew but chose to ignore it.
After all, which human likes seeing people better than themselves? We were simply better so they treated us like trash.
Anyways. I digress.
In my study of quantum mechanics, I delved into the strange and fascinating world of subatomic particles, where the Laws of physics break down and give way to both uncertainty and probability while also opening doors to possibilities.
Literally and Practically, with knowledge on Quantum physics, you can actually achieve nearly…anything.
I learned about phenomena such as particle-wave duality, where particles can behave like waves and vice versa, and the bizarre concept of quantum entanglement, where particles can become interconnected regardless of the distance between them.
In essence…Teleportation. I wasn't surprised though. It'd be weird if an advanced civilization like that or Lemuria didn't know this.
…
Technology was another realm of exploration on its own, as I familiarized myself with the advancements and innovations of both civilisations. I couldn't help but marvel at the ingenuity of the two civilizations, studying their architectural wonders, ingenious inventions, and sophisticated machinery.
Among the wonders that captured my imagination were the architectural marvels constructed by this prehistoric civilization. He marveled at the grandeur of their towering structures, which displayed an advanced understanding of engineering and construction techniques.
It was beautiful. Truly so, but I wasn't overly surprised though. It was said that Olimpia was a dimension built to match Olympus in beauty and aesthetics.
These ancient architects and builders demonstrated remarkable skill in designing and erecting monumental edifices that may have stood the test of time…if only they hadn't angered the Celestials.
I also studied the ingenious inventions created by this ancient civilization. From intricate machinery to sophisticated devices, I was impressed by their ability to harness natural resources and manipulate energy for various purposes.
When I say natural resources, that's exactly what I mean. Pure, clean energy unlike the ones of Earth…the Future Earth.
One of the major reasons behind the sinking of the continent Atlantis was once situated on was due to their use of the continent's Geothermal energy to power their country.
These inventions showcased a unique understanding of science and technology, allowing the civilization to achieve feats that were far ahead of their time, and that was a lot considering that they didn't need to go through the Coal stage.
One particularly fascinating aspect of this ancient civilization's technology was their mastery of machinery.
I loved the intricate mechanisms and automated systems they developed, which showcased their advanced knowledge of mechanics and automation.
These technological marvels not only facilitated everyday tasks but also enabled the civilization to undertake ambitious projects and ventures. No wonder they actually dared attack a celestial.
Overall, my exploration of their civilization's technology was a journey of awe and wonder.
Through my studies, I had gained a deeper appreciation for the ingenuity and creativity of sentient beings who lived in a time long before recorded history.
Their remarkable achievements served as a testament to the timeless quest for innovation and progress. However, it was in the realm of magic that I found true fascination.
Guided by texts and tomes, I read all I could about the arcane arts, mastering spells, enchantments, and incantations.
When I studied incantations, I finally realized why my previous seal couldn't hold my Cosmic Energy after I created a Mind-scape. It wasn't that It was weak, but It was just not suitable in containing Cosmic Energy.
I had used the knowledge of Seals and Ruin I had created in my previous life to create a container for it, and it proved to be futile in the long run.
Meh. At least I now know where I went wrong.
I also studied the various schools of magic, from elemental manipulation to necromancy, spellcasting and potion brewing.
With each incantation, I felt the surge of Mystical energy coursing through my veins, tapping into the ancient forces that governed the cosmos…Cosmic Energy.
Hehehe. Gaea was right. Any energy is Mystical as far as there's a spell or incantation attached to it.
Magic, as I learned, was not just a fantastical , Godly or special thing, but a complex system of knowledge and practice. It encompassed various disciplines, each with its own set of rules and principles.
It was through diligent study that I mastered these spells, enchantments, and incantations, learning how to manipulate mystical energies to achieve desired effects.
This was where the law of conversion of energy actually played a part and I discovered something. As long as we don't just use our innate abilities as Deviants and Eternals, we can actually be stronger by using Mystical Energy.
The Ancient one for example. A mere human who was able to protect the Earth for Centuries. Odin only thought of hiding the Tesseract on earth since he knew she was guarding the place.
Hell, there's even a possibility that he asked for her permission to do so.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is…with spellcasting, incantations and enchantments, I could actually go toe to toe with some Cosmic beings….Meh. it's not like I'll go looking for trouble.
But still, since I already have my own source of energy, I only need to expand it.
For example, elemental manipulation involved harnessing the power of nature's elements—such as fire, water, earth, and air—to cast spells and create magical effects.
Necromancy, on the other hand, delved into the realm of death and the afterlife, allowing practitioners to communicate with spirits and manipulate the forces of decay and regeneration.
What if…I used my energy to do all this. Convert my energy into Fire, water, earth and air?
Use my energy to talk to the spirits of the dead…manipulate decay and regeneration…I could make a mere human immortal.
I'm already immortal as it is…but with this…I could make gods.
Wait.A.Minute! I can be God and actually create a-
"Alright. Stop that train of thought." I said to myself as I reached that stage of thought.
Truly, knowledge is power. But when a powerful person gains Knowledge…It's hard to say what would become of him or her
Spellcasting involved the recitation of incantations and the manipulation of mystical energies to produce magical effects. Through practice and dedication, I learned how to channel these energies and wield them to my will without chanting or reciting anything.
Wouldn't want to be seen as a Chuunibyo, would I?
Potion brewing, meanwhile, was the art of concocting magical elixirs and potions using a combination of rare ingredients and arcane rituals. I studied up on the properties of various herbs, minerals, and magical substances, learning how to blend them together to create potent potions with specific effects.
Don't think too highly of this though. While it can be magical, it can also be mundane. Hell I could use a normal batch of leaves to concoct an antibiotic and they'll still call me a miracle worker in this new barbaric era.
Surprisingly though, with each spell he cast and potion he brewed, incantations and enchantments I made, I felt a connection to my Cosmic Energy.
I marveled at the mysteries of magic and the endless possibilities it offered for exploration and discovery.
Through my studies, I gained a newfound appreciation for the beauty and power of the arcane arts, inspiring him to continue this journey into the realms of magic.
What? You thought I'd leave this for science?
What you have to realize is, as I delved deeper into the realms of science, technology, and magic, I began to see the interconnectedness between these seemingly disparate fields of study.
Science provided the foundation upon which both technology and magic were built, offering explanations for the natural phenomena that governed the universe.
Technology, in turn, served as the practical application of scientific principles, allowing sentient beings to harness the forces of nature for their own purposes.
And magic, with its mystical energies and ancient rituals, offered a deeper understanding of the unseen forces that permeated the cosmos, transcending the boundaries of scientific knowledge and technological advancement.
Together, these three realms formed a tapestry of knowledge and discovery, but…while a magician could easily understand Science and Technology, a scientist won't be able to glean into the field of Magic.
Why? You might ask…
It's quite simple. With more and in-depth study on science and technology, a rigid mindset is formed. And with a rigid mindset, the Realms of Magic will remain unattainable to them.
But should that rigid mindset crumble, they'd make the greatest magician.
"It's no wonder Dr. Strange became the Strongest sorcerer." I said and stood up from my sitting posture.
After a series of stretching and bone popping, I smiled and looked at the wheel chair that I had remade, I smiled and turned to the space in front of me.
"I have a proposition for you."
"Oh?" Gaea's voice echoed throughout the library before space shimmered and she appeared in front of me.
I must say though, even when she tries, she can't possibly get shorter than she already is..3 whole meters in height. Is it just me or does she have some form of trauma related to her height?
"You're standing on your feet."
"Of Course." I said with an eye roll. You expect me to still remain shackled by my own energy despite the plethora of knowledge I now possess?
"Hmm. I'm all ears."
"I've spent the last few decades thinking and coming up with the perfect…species to inhabit this new planet you've made." I said with a bit of excitement.
"They're some Homo Erectus still alive and well, they'd do." Gaea said offhandedly with a bit of impatience.
I understood that she had a lot of work to do as it concerns the planet and my calling her here was wasting that bit of time.
"Hear me out. I understand where you're coming from, but think about it. How many years did it take for them to grow to this level? I understand your enmity with the Celestials, worse of it all, they buried one of their own in you." As I said that, I felt the temperature go down by a few degrees.
"I am already connected to this Planet and I can't possibly bear to watch what will happen…happen."
"What are you trying to say?"
"What if we take a page from their handbook?"
"I'm listening." She tilted her head to the side in interest.
"Have a seat." I said as a well decorated stone chair rose up from the ground just behind her.
"Thank you. I see you've even learnt to control my own energy."
"I learnt from the best, mother." I said with a flattering smile.
"Cheeky brat. Alright, get on with it."
"I've been thinking about this for quite some time now. I initially didn't want to play God and allow everything to go according to their Natural Order, but then I thought, we could do better."
"The Universe is constantly evolving and the Celestials will be back to destroy Planets and Galaxies that are without improvements."
"I know that. But what would you have me do?"
"It's simple. Let us make Man…in our own Image and Likeness."

A/N: Just want to let you all know that if you are religiously inclined, especially Christianity, don't read too much meaning in the future content of this novel.
Other than that... Give me a piece of your minds on how to make the story better.
