"Great, here's the offer. I'll help you kill the third Kazekage so you can make him your puppet, but in return, I want you to play hostage with me. I simply want a few vials of granny Chiyo's special poisons along with their antidotes.

Of course, if you can give them to me without playing the hostage, then that's even better. No one would know about my involvement with you and you can escape to a place that's far away from here before anyone even starts to suspect you." Kira whispered before giving him the options.

"So, blink twice if yes and blink thrice if you're not interested in my offer. Once if you have a way to give me the poisons and antidotes without Chiyo's knowledge."

Sasori stared at Kira for a few seconds before his eyelids slowly closed and then opened before staying still.

"You have a way to get them? Blink twice for yes and-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Sasori blinked twice.

Kira silently stared at Sasori for a while before infusing chakra into his hands. He then gently placed his palms on the placed where he originally smacked Sasori at first.

After he was done with half of them, he looked at Sasori, "Tell me now. I know you can speak."

"There's a box under my bed. Inside, there are two rows of small glass containers. The top row has bright red liquid inside and this one is the poison. The bottom row has a dark red liquid and this is the antidote. There should be a total of five sets." Sasori whispered as his eyes were locked on to Kira's mask.

Nodding in response, Kira created a wood clone as it did not produce any sound like the shadow clones, which appeared with a loud "puff".

The wood clone then walked towards the bed and reached under it, feeling around so he could find the box. Once he did, he pulled the box out and opened it.

And just like Sasori had told him, there were 10 small vials filled reddish liquid. Kira's clone grabbed one of the brighter vials and opened the lid before passing it to Sasori.

"Drink this and then I'll give you the antidote. Just a normal verification procedure, so don't hold this against me. Oh yeah, tell me how it works by the way." Kira said as he kept his eye on Sasori who nodded.

The clone fed him the poison, and Sasori obediently drank it. Seeing that Sasori was taking his time, he could tell that the poison spread slowly. Either that, or it wasn't a poison at all.

Sasori gathered some saliva in his mouth and spit it onto the floor, "Sorry, I just don't like the after taste. There are three ways to use this poison.

First is through food or mouth like the way you just fed me. This one is hard to do and not really practical unless you plan on killing someone on your side. If they don't suspect you, then you can just poison their food.

The other method is to inject it into their blood stream and this is the fastest way the poison can spread. It'll take around one day to spread to the entire body and then, it'll thin your blood and increase your heart rate.

And just like that, the poisoned person will die from having their arteries ruptured. Medical ninjutsu can keep them alive for a while, but the effects will keep getting severe as time passes.

Death will just be inevitable and then there's the last and the most slowest way. But this is also the most stealthiest way of using these poisons. You simply need to get the targets to inhale the poison's vapours.

Unfortunately, since the amount of poison that enters the body this way is extremely low, people can survive if a medical ninja helps them out."

Hearing this, Kira nodded and gave one of the antidotes to his clone before speaking to Sasori, "Okay, my clone will act as one of your puppets until he sees the poison working. And once that happens, he'll give you the antidote."

Right after saying that, he grabbed the other four sets of vials and teleported back to his tent. Until the next day, he silently strengthened the seal on his forehead and since he was given time to rest, no one bothered him.

At the same time, next day before sunrise, Kira teleported back to Sasori who was lying on his bed with a flushed face. His entire body had a red hue. Kira silently grabbed his hand and put his fingers on the area near the veins so he could check the heart rate and blood pressure.

"It is actually working...." he muttered as he took the antidote from his clone and gave it to Sasori.

"Here. Get your preparations in order and once you're ready, tell my clone. He'll somehow relay the message to me and I'll come to you when I get the chance. So yeah, don't call me during emergencies."

Sasori nodded, "Thank you. I'll do as you say... but can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"The wood release... are you Hashirama Senju? The god of all Shinobi..."

Kira stared at Sasori from behind his mask, not knowing what to say. He stayed silent for a while as he made up a plan and then nodded, "Indeed. The simple answer would be a yes and let me tell you a secret. Madara is still alive, so until he dies, I won't. As for the details... I'm not really in the mood to tell you a long story. Anyways, is that it?"

Sasori shook his head, "No... I just wanted to confirm first. The thing I really wish to have right now is your wood, Lord Hashirama."

"...."
