A normal day in the life of a child I

"Honey, called from the school Luke is first on the list for acceptance!" Exclaimed the young woman enthusiastically.

"Really! Hahaha... My blood, Luke is a genius like his father!" Exclaimed the young man as well.

Of course, these two were Luke's parents, Alex Cooper, a scrawny brunette with glasses, and Alice Cooper, a short blonde of average beauty. Both were 28 years old and held doctorates in their fields, in materials engineering and biotechnology, respectively.

"So it's all your credit?!" Alice asked with a gleam in her eye.

"No, no, of course not... You know what I think we should celebrate!" Alex tried to change the subject.

"Of course we should. It's been a long time since we did anything with the whole family. Where should we go?" Alice immediately forgot about it.

"Why don't we ask Luke what he would like?"

"He'll call out more sweets again, how many times do I have to explain how dangerous sugar is, especially in large amounts!"

"Oh, stop this one time you can let it go."

"Okay, Luke what do you want?" She asked Alice with another glint in her eye to keep him from overdoing it.

Not until now did they remember that I was here. Luke thought, then said: "Te... Two chocolates?"

"How can you be so smart when all you think about is sweets?" Sighs Alice. "Well I agree, let's go to the cake shop together..."

After a short preparation, the family left the house and drove to the city center.

Luke decided that this was a good time to start executing his plans at will. He had been preparing for a long time.

In his plan, two ninja techniques played major roles: Henge no Jutsu and Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. There were not many problems with the first one, he learned it quite quickly. However, the second one was already troublesome.

It takes massive amounts of chakra to use it with multiple clones. And even summoning one was far beyond Luke's limit. However, after many attempts and failures, he succeeded in creating a weakened version of it. Which Philip could only put down to the fact that Luke might be a greater genius than him.

Previously, clones could exist as long as they were not destroyed or withdrawn by the original. However, in the case of his version, this imposed a time limit the greater the less chakra was used in the process. In addition, the technique allowed the creation of only one clone, which would immediately disappear if another appeared.

Even with these limits, Luke needed to use three-quarters of his chakra to create a clone for two hours. However, this is acceptable as long as he doesn't have to fight anyone. The transformation technique itself did not require much.

The last problem was distance, he envied Philip's movement speed, but he had a lifetime to get used to these skills. Luke has spent a few months on this so far.

However, this is a temporary problem, the location of his new school is almost in the center of the city so he will have many places within the time limit. However, the sooner he starts preparations the better.

So, when they arrived at the site Luke went into the bathroom to create his clone: Genkai Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Now he just had to decide whether he should go himself or send a clone. The problem was with his endurance. For a clone it is much lower, and in Luke's case it meant that a stronger poke would dissipate his clone.

If he sends the clone to unknown places then there is a greater chance that it will be destroyed by accident, although the clone's memory will come back to him he could easily be exposed. On the other hand, if he goes alone he will have to waste time to return.

Well! Richard is right. I think too much sometimes. It is necessary to take risks. The most important thing is not to be filmed.

He decided to send a clone, and by himself spend a pleasant time with his family.

...

The clone of Luke was him so naturally he accepted this choice and set out to perform the task, at the time turning into an adult: Henge no Jutsu.

The plan was a bit complicated, but it should work.

As he once told Richard and Philip, Luke came from a world similar to the one he is in now. Same cities, same countries, similar technologies, just the events were different.

Fortunately, there was no serial killer capable of killing at a distance. He wondered if there were death gods here, but had no way to verify it.

Although Luke was not an economist, some trends were easy to spot simply by functioning in the world, and with his genius it was even easier. So he came up with the idea that all he needed to do was to find those that had already developed in his world and were just beginning here.

And it worked, he created a system by which he could predict changes in the stock market. At least to some point. However, for a man who can stick to his hunch even when it has only a three percent probability, this is enough.

With this attitude, the Luke clone walked into a phone box and called a number he had previously found on the Internet.

"Good morning?" The voice in the receiver spoke up.

"In about twenty-five minutes, Maple Technologies' stock will drop ninety percent, and a few hours later, another company will record an increase of two hundred and fifty percent. If you want to know more, meet me at the coffee shop across from your office in thirty minutes."

...

"What's all this nonsense, Maple Technologies just launched a new product, now their stock is flying like crazy upwards! What kind of jokes are these? Who are you? Hello!" Ross started to shout into the phone, but it hung up.

"What's got you so upset Ross?" Asked one of his co-workers.

Ross O'Donnell was a tall and handsome man of Irish descent in the prime of his life. He managed to graduate from college despite his poverty, and then got into one of the Wall Street companies. Thanks to a recent investment he made, which no one at the company believed but him, he would be a future millionaire.

"Someone is making a joke, no important. Watch my baby grow!"

"Yes, yes, congratulations, you were right, as always..."

"Of course I was." At these words, his co-worker left without a word.

Ah you of little faith. I suggested that you also make a purchase, even a small profit would be better than none. With these thoughts, Ross went to the kitchen to brew himself another cup of coffee. After today he would get everything he deserved.

However, the seed of uncertainty was planted in his mind. Damn, stop thinking about it from today you are rich.

Twenty minutes have passed.

Damn, such a joke can twist any kid with a phone. Why do I keep thinking about it.

Four more minutes passed.

"Damn, I'm about to go crazy." He whispered to himself.

Okay, whoever it was, if it's not true, I'll find him and shoot him off.

With these thoughts, Ross withdrew his private money.

Okay, I still earned a lot, and the company will give me a percentage of that investment and a promotion. I don't lose much. Even if by some damn miracle it were true and I lost the company's money I still have mine, it's the perfect balance. Just so long as, if anything, the company doesn't find out that I backed out in time myself. What am I talking about that has no right to happen anyway.

A minute later.

Well, and nothing.

Two minutes.

Fuck I could still make so much money, no point in getting back in now.

Three minutes.

"Hey turn on the news!" Shouted someone in the hall.

"...a product released by the emerging company Maple Technologies proved to be dangerous to the user's life. We have reports that a total of 40 devices have already exploded, seriously injuring..."

Ross didn't listen further, grabbed his coat and quickly ran outside. The company's money is already gone anyway, let others deal with it, he has a damn important meeting.

...

"How did you know?"

Ross and the Luke clone were sitting in a coffee shop. At the moment Luke looked like a 40-year-old professor, with glasses, an uncut beard and a crumpled shirt.

"A simple analysis of the technology market, if you know what is currently feasible, everything else will be rubbish."

"That doesn't explain the fact that you predicted a certain moment."

"HA, that's my market secret. All I can say is that I have developed a system of analysis that allows me to predict such things with high probability."

"Well, okay, and why did you call me? You could have made money in the stock market by yourself or sold this system and instantly become a billionaire if it's as good as you say. Where's the catch?"

"I like the sharpness of your mind. To answer, I don't have the funds for significant investment at the moment, and need to get money as soon as possible. I don't intend to sell my project either, it's my life's work. That's why I need a partner with cash."

"I might not even have had any money if I hadn't trusted you."

"But you did trust, didn't you?"

"Well, okay, but why me specifically? You could have chosen anyone."

"Very good question. I was looking for someone worth working with, and who better than a man who contributes $1,000 a month to animal shelters."

"Excuse me? How do you know about this?"

"You can find a lot of information on the Internet, are you in? I propose to split 70:30, finally it is my genius that will make us rich."

"Don't get so cocky, I'm the one who will take the biggest risk here. No system can predict the future, so there's a chance you'll be wrong. 60:40 for me is the best I can give."

The conversation continued for some time. However, Luke knew that they would finally meet in the middle. That was enough for him. He had no problem letting Ross get rich. Although complacent and a bit snobbish he is a good man.

That's also how he took the first step in saving the world.
