This... this guy! How can he do that to his own family?!

"I will give you this for your personal use. I'm sure everyone witnessing this is shocked that someone like you is getting their hands on royalty goods. Although, something like this is fitting for someone that has the Lord's Authority. And just so you know, this thing hasn't been used yet."

Anger was building up inside me, similar to what I felt towards Ken. I felt like throwing a punch at him as of right now. But I knew I would be subdued right after.

I had to find a way to get out of this world. And if possible, save her, too.

I glanced back at the still activate portal for a moment before using a skill that could help me in this plan.

"... Hahaha! Man, and here I thought this offer was bull at first! Then again, I want to think about this offer for a minute or two if you'll allow that?"

I gave off an evil-like laugh and grin as I talked, and thanks to the skill I was using, it made this whole new side of me much more believable. And I did not like it at all.

At my words, he also grinned.

"I knew your species would enjoy this type of situation. Alright, I will allow you to consider this offer for a minute. And if you reject it, I will make it so that you can leave this place and go back into your world."

I see. He wasn't going to let me go from the very beginning. That explains why the grapples are still attached to my ankles.

I looked at him and saw that the one that he was still holding up was squirming.

The one standing took hold of her head, again harshly, and forcefully lifted her eyes up. "Do not worry, oh dear sister of mine. That one over there is about to take real care of you." He pointed at me and the female elf's eyes shifted to me.

Those eyes looked wounded. There was no light inside those eyes. However, even with those eyes, she had a faint look of seeking help.

"It has been a minute. What is your response?"

I took a moment before speaking.

"...It is indeed an excellent offer, joining a powerful race, and getting my hands on one too. It is an offer that would make anyone want to accept."

From the way I was speaking, his calm face started to fade out.

"...and I am one of those people..."

That dumb grin of his return. "Fantastic! Now-"

Even with just 15% of the skill, I could feel the sudden boost in strength. With this new strength, I broke free from the grapples.

The moment the grapples broke, I revealed my second new skill to the elves.

The ground near the two siblings cracked and something long had come out.

A whip made up of red energy wrapped around the female elf.

Before the one minute of thinking started, I activated this skill to dig into the ground from behind, and made it so that it wouldn't look suspicious.

Aerin quickly knew what was happening and made a command.

"Close the portal!"

I pulled his sister towards me and heard the voice of another elf.

"The portal isn't closing!"

I looked in the portal's direction, and sure enough, it was still there, although originally it was blue. This time it was orange, and it seemed that it alternated between the two while also creating sparks.

What was happening?

"Shoot at him then! Kill him!"

The heavy body returned even stronger than before.

That was also when I sensed something in the forest coming at me. No, I knew what it was. About 100 arrows fueled with different kinds of elements were coming straight at me.

In just under a second, the sky went dark, the clouds formed, and a purple light was produced. That purple light came down between me and the elves in the form of lightning bolts. The lighting created a sharp and loud cracking noise, as well as also annihilating the arrows at the same time.

"What?! You...! You did this, didn't you?!"

The lighting between us continued to rain down, seemingly never stopping, but I knew it would soon. The magic power I had left was quickly draining out. Eventually, I would run out even with 1000 magic power. Just as I was about to activate [1000 Steps] someone screamed at me from the other side of the lighting.

"You will not get away with this, you hear me?!! I will return and bring upon destruction to your filthy world!! I will kill and destroy anything you love until eventually you fall as well!!"

My back was facing him the entire time, and once he was done, I activated [1000 Steps] and entered the portal with the female elf.

As I entered the portal, it gave me the same feeling as when I entered the first time, although we didn't get to the other side this time. Instead, we were in a twisted space surrounded by the same magic powers alternating. We were floating in the middle of this weird space.

"What? What's happening? Why aren't we on the other side?!"

All of a sudden, something started to form in this space. The blue and orange magic began to fade away into complete darkness. In this darkness, another portal was formed. This time, it was pitch black.

We got sucked into this portal so fast that I couldn't think about where it might drop us at.

And on the other side of the portal, I could see something... something very unfamiliar.
