Heavy Damage To Garp, Holding The Revolutionary Army Accountable

Garp and Dragon fought with all their strength. Although neither intended to kill the other, the presence of Marine generals watching the battle, especially since Sakazuki had reached Admiral-level strength, meant that Garp couldn't hold back too much.

As the battle progressed, Garp's old strength waned, and his new strength had not yet been born. Arias took advantage of this and teleported, forcing Garp to hurriedly arm his chest.

"Your Excellency, wait!" Dragon shouted, shocked and trying to stop Arias, but it was too late.

Garp did his best to avoid a fatal blow, roaring in pain.

Garp's hurriedly gathered Armament Haki wasn't strong enough. Arias' claws, charged with gamma rays, tore through the Armament Haki on Garp's chest, aiming for his heart.

If Garp could be killed here, the world would change even more drastically!

Garp's expression turned cold. This person was truly ruthless, not only killing two Vice Admirals but also attempting to kill him!

Wasn't he supposed to be part of the Revolutionary Army?

Garp struggled to save himself, but the gamma rays had already destroyed his chest muscles. The sound of bone cracking indicated that his sternum had been severed.

"Your Excellency, please show mercy!" Dragon secretly whipped up a strong wind to stop Arias. But to outsiders, it appeared as if he was trying to join forces with Arias to kill Garp.

"Vice Admiral Garp!" Ghost Spider shouted as he approached on Moonwalk. Marine had already lost two Vice Admirals in this battle; they couldn't afford to lose the Marine hero too.

At that moment, Akainu shattered the obstacle in front of him. Although he didn't fully understand Garp's actions, he wouldn't stand by and watch Garp be killed.

"Great Eruption!"

Akainu's arm transformed into a massive magma fist that blotted out the sky as it descended toward Arias. But Arias was unfazed. He drove his dragon claw into Garp's chest, even as Dragon's hurricane and Akainu's magma fist closed in on him.

With a quick teleportation within the room space, Arias avoided both attacks. The two sides' attacks collided, sending Garp plummeting into the sea.

"Pity," Arias sighed. Garp, the veteran warrior, had managed to avoid a fatal blow at the last moment. Although Arias' claw had shattered his sternum and pierced through his back, it had narrowly missed his heart.

The gamma rays destroyed much of Garp's internal tissues, leaving him severely injured. But given the perverse resilience of these strong men, the injury was not fatal.

Ghost Spider quickly jumped into the sea to retrieve Garp. When he saw the gaping wound in Garp's chest, he was shocked beyond words.

Even Akainu, who believed that Dragon was indeed at odds with his father, ordered his subordinates to kill Garp.

"Sakazuki, you are the only one left. Do you still want to chase me?" Dragon asked, standing at the bow of the ship.

Akainu snorted coldly. As an iron-blooded hawk, he would not back down.

"Ghost Spider! Take Vice Admiral Garp back to headquarters for treatment! I will execute these traitors!"

Akainu was still a Vice Admiral, but everyone knew he was the backup for Admiral and would soon be promoted. Ghost Spider took the order and led the remaining sailors away, leaving Sakazuki alone above the bay.

"Long, let's work together to keep him," Arias suggested, still regretting not killing Garp directly. With Akainu chasing them alone, it was a great opportunity to eliminate the future Marine Marshal.

But Dragon refused. He was still furious at Arias for trying to kill Garp.

Just as Akainu was about to continue his attack, Ghost Spider, who had already led the sailors back to the Marine warship in the distance, shouted:

"Sakazuki Vice Admiral! Sengoku Admiral has ordered us to cancel the mission and retreat!"

Akainu was furious. "How could Sengoku Admiral give such an order? I've already caught up with the thief!"

But he couldn't disobey a superior's order. He left a harsh warning and sent his elemental form back to the Marine ship.

"Dragon! And you, Eiichiro Oda! I remember you! I will personally arrest you both!"

Akainu left, and Arias, seeing that Dragon was unwilling to act, also refrained from making a move. He feared Dragon might betray him.

"Your Excellency Arias, why did you try to kill Garp?" Ivankov angrily questioned Arias once the Revolutionary Army's ship had safely left.

"Don't you know that's Dragon's father?"

Arias was unbothered and retorted, "If we're going to trigger a world revolution, we must be prepared to make sacrifices, even if it means killing our relatives for the greater good."

"If you ever face Garp on the battlefield, would you show mercy?"

"How naïve, do you still think you can overthrow the world government?"

Ivankov, still angry, replied, "Garp is not our enemy! Garp..."

"Enough!" Dragon interrupted, stopping Ivankov from continuing. He realized that Arias had seen through Garp's true nature.

Perhaps Garp wasn't as loyal to the Marines as he appeared...

The Revolutionary Army had been developing in secret for so long. It was possible that Garp had secretly aided them.

Ivankov, still dissatisfied, argued, "But, Dragon, your father was almost killed by him!"

Dragon remained calm. "Thanks to Arias, my father won't be suspected by the Marines. Now they've fully believed that I've severed ties with him."

"However," he turned to Arias, "Your Excellency, the promised raid on the Logue Town Marine branch turned into a battle with five Naval Headquarters Vice Admirals. The mission bounty of 50 million is not enough."

Arias responded coldly, "Your people were careless and leaked their location to the Marines, leading to the Vice Admirals' attack and putting me, the employer, in danger."

"Logically, I should cancel the mission bounty entirely to compensate for my losses."

Ivankov, who had quieted down, became enraged again at the mention of canceling the bounty.

"We've killed so many soldiers, and you want to cancel the bounty?" he demanded.

Arias looked him in the eye. "First, your soldiers died because you leaked secrets."

"Second, I killed two Vice Admirals in this battle. What contribution did you make?"

"Third, Dragon attacked me earlier and broke our agreement."

"Any of these reasons are enough to put you on the blacklist, and you still expect a bounty?"

Ivankov was left speechless by Arias' points.

"But," Arias' tone softened, "since this is our first collaboration, I'll give you a chance to learn from your mistakes."

"I'll still pay the 50 million Bailey bounty."

"But if you make such mistakes again in the future, our cooperation will be terminated!"
