Hinata's sweet voice rang out again, as lovely as a songbird.

Naruto smiled when he heard her, knowing Hinata was eager for the food. He picked up a grilled fish and handed it to her.

"Here, try it."

"Thank you, Naruto."

Hinata smiled brightly at Naruto, quickly taking the grilled fish with her small hand, her big eyes lighting up at the sight of the golden, crispy fish.

As a true food lover, she had been craving it for a while, and now she finally got to taste it.

"It smells so good! It's delicious!"

Hinata took a bite, her big eyes lighting up even more, and she looked at Naruto with admiration.

This was the first time she had tasted such a special grilled fish, and the flavorful bite really hit the spot.

This made her admire Naruto even more, thinking he was a truly amazing person.

Naruto, having finished two fish, felt satisfied. He looked over and noticed that Hinata, who had also eaten two fish, was staring at the last one in a daze.

Naruto knew what that meant. He picked up the last grilled fish and handed it to her. "Here, you can have it."

"No... no, Naruto, you can eat it," Hinata said shyly, but her eyes betrayed her longing for the fish.

"Don't worry, I'm full. You eat it before it gets cold."

Naruto said this casually, remembering how much Hinata loved snacks.

"Well... okay, I'll eat it then."

"Go ahead."

"Thank you, Naruto."

Seeing Hinata eat so happily made Naruto feel happy too. In his tough childhood, Hinata's company brought a little brightness to his dark world.

"Oranges? Oh, wait!"

Hinata suddenly remembered something, quickly pulling out two oranges from her pocket and handing them to Naruto.

"Here, Naruto, these are for you."

"Oranges?"

Naruto was surprised to see the oranges in her hands. He remembered trying to buy some earlier but couldn't.

It wasn't hard to figure out.

Hinata must have seen him fail to buy oranges and secretly bought two to give to him. Her shy personality kept her from offering them earlier, but now she felt comfortable enough to share.

"You're so sweet and thoughtful, thank you, Hinata."

Naruto smiled and reached out to take the orange Hinata handed over.

As he took it, he noticed how soft, tender, and smooth her hand felt, like the finest silk.

Hinata felt something too, and quickly pulled her hand back as if she had touched something hot. She lowered her head, feeling shy and embarrassed.

The mood between them seemed to shift, and even the sky seemed a little bluer at that moment.

"Here, Hinata, eat an orange."

Naruto broke the tension and peeled an orange for both of them to eat.

"Okay."

Hinata took a small bite but kept her head down, too shy to look directly at Naruto.

Naruto, not great with words, simply enjoyed the lingering scent of the grilled fish and silently watched the sky.

High up in a tree...

Four Anbu members stood quietly on the branches, watching Naruto. Some of them occasionally took a deep breath.

"Captain, this is why I requested a transfer from this surveillance job. Smelling such delicious food every day but not being able to eat it... it's torture!" said one Anbu wearing a fox mask.

"Yeah, we've been holding out for a long time. Ever since this kid started cooking outside, the smell just keeps getting better and better. But we can't eat any of it, we can only watch," another Anbu chimed in, sharing his frustration. The others nodded in agreement.

"All this fuss over a little smell? You're supposed to be the elite of the Anbu!" the squad leader scolded. But even as he spoke, he swallowed hard, trying to keep his composure.

"Captain, it's not just any smell. This kid is amazing at cooking, and every time he makes something, it smells even more delicious. But we can only watch and not eat. It's driving us crazy!" the fox-mask Anbu explained again, clearly fed up.

"Hmph, it's just a smell... you're ninjas..." the squad leader started to say, but his stomach grumbled loudly mid-sentence, and the scene became awkward.

"Ahem."

The squad leader blushed, though thankfully his mask hid it from view. He quickly changed the subject, "Did you check the fish-catching tool?"

"Yes, I checked it. It's a clever design. We reported it to Lord Hokage, but he didn't seem to care much," the fox-mask Anbu replied.

"Well, it's just a little trick. No wonder Hokage-sama isn't impressed. After all, strength is what really matters. Naruto might be clever, but I don't know if he has what it takes to become strong," the squad leader said.

"Captain, does the village really want to train Naruto? Didn't the previous orders say to delay his training? Even his chakra refining was taught very late," another Anbu asked curiously.

"That was before. I've heard that the Council are now planning to train Naruto, to make him strong enough to protect Konoha," the squad leader said quietly.

"But isn't it a bit late? Naruto may be good at catching fish, but his diet is poor. He's not as healthy as even an ordinary kid," one Anbu commented.

"Yeah, look how short he is. He's clearly undernourished, and he doesn't eat enough fruits and vegetables. It'll be tough to train him," another agreed.

"Don't worry, the Council have already made their decision. Let's just focus on our job," the squad leader replied, continuing to watch Naruto, though he couldn't stop thinking about that grilled fish. He made a mental note to try it if he ever got the chance.

By the river...

After lunch, Naruto and Hinata walked home together. After dropping Hinata off, Naruto headed back, checking his own situation. A mechanical voice had just echoed in his mind.

Seeing this message, Naruto felt a surge of excitement. But he kept his cool, quietly exploring the system.
