Third person's POV
Rin taught Kakashi how to read and write, while Haru is perfecting his writing and also started reading more complex books compared to Kakashi.
However, Kakashi learned pretty fast, it seems that kids in this world have greater learning ability and more mature compared to Haru's previous world. Kakashi learned how to read and write after 6 months of studying and catches up to Haru in reading much more complex books.
Seeing the learning ability of the two kids, Rin is very happy, and she started to train the two in calligraphy, well it is much harder since the two have small hands, but they still practice doing it.
While doing all of that, days pass by and Haru and Kakashi are now 3 years old, and Konoha is year 53.
Sakumo also went back from the battlefield to rest and have the time to train the two kids.
"
"
Haru woke up early since he is excited to finally start his training, that's because he just turned three. His appearance is very cute, he has fair skin, soft red hair, and big silver eyes, he has a small face and looks very angelic.

Haru washed his face and ate his breakfast, after that he walks towards Kakashi's house.
'Finally, I can start training, I can't wait to become strong, since remembering the plot that can happen 3 years from now in which uncle Sakumo may die, I don't want that to happen. I want to become strong to protect myself and my family.
However, thinking about the future enemies, I need to train really hard, I just hope that I can handle it though'
Haru thought before he sighs and knocks on the door.
Sakumo opened it and saw Haru,
"Good morning uncle"
"Morning Haru, are you ready for the day?"
Haru nods and said energetically, "Yes! I'm ready"
"Good, let's go then"
Sakumo walk out with Kakashi following behind him,
"Good morning Kakashi"
"Morning Haru"
Kakashi's appearance is also very cute, he had silver hair, big black eyes, and a handsome face even as a kid.
By now he started to wear his mask, due to one time, when Rin walk them out, many aunties tried to pinch his cheeks and he did not like it one bit, since then he started to wear his mask.

The three walk at the side of the house to where the training ground is located, Sakumo stops walking and look at the two and said,
"So, since the two of you are eager to start training, we will first need to increase your stamina because you are still 3 years old and did not yet awaken your chakra, we will not do any intense training since it may damage your body."
We will start with simple exercises and followed by running, after that you two can do what you wanted. The purpose of this training is to develop your body to have proper stamina, posture, reflex, and flexibility."
"So, uncle when will we awaken our chakra?"
"Well, the ideal age is 4 years old, after awakening it, we will start your proper ninja training since the chakra enhances your body, making it stronger"
The two nodded at that and Sakumo guided them, first, he instructed them the proper way to stretch the body, then followed by jumping and running around the training ground.
"Okay first, we need to stretch your limbs and learn how to do split and bending. This will make your body lighter and more flexible, thus making evading easier, and having more moves when attacking"
The two nods their heads and started stretching their bodies, afterwards Sakumo told them to sit and spread their legs as far as they could, Haru and Kakashi could only spread up to 45 degrees, Sakumo put force on their backs to further stretch their legs, this made the two groaned in pain.
Haru likes dancing in his past life, it was one of the ways he can express himself, although not a professional one, he can dance mostly contemporary and modern. However, his only weakness is that he did not know how to split and bend.
That's because he starts dancing at a very late age and doing splits and bending when he is no longer a child is very painful and hard. He hates pain so he did not pursue learning those two, but as he grows up, he regrets it.
And now that he is in a child's body, he can now learn it, that's why even though it's painful, he still persevered in doing so, and besides, it is essential in being a ninja to be very flexible.
After that Sakumo let them rest, and move on to the next exercise, which is bending.
Sakumo told them to put their backs on a wall and slowly bend backward with the help of the wall as support.
Haru did it excitingly but since this is their first time, he can only achieve halfway through. Haru is very determined to start this new page of life he has since his wish for adventure and interesting life is just starting.
Although Haru, already accepted this kind of reality, subconsciously he still treated this world as an anime world. That's because ever since his transmigration, although he keeps listening to the war stories, he never experiences it and keeps a very passive attitude just like someone watching a movie.
You can't really blame him though since he did come from a peaceful world and have a peaceful mindset. But this will all change in the future in which he will be slap painfully by reality itself.
Haru and Kakashi continued their training of stretching and afterward running on the training ground. As for pull-ups, push-up, and the like, Sakumo did not yet teach them since their body is not yet strengthened by chakra and these exercises may cause injuries to their bodies.
Aside from that, he also made them properly practice the basic forms of Taijutsu and practice their throwing skills by throwing rocks to a stationary target.
At first, the two kids struggled since it is their first time doing something like this, but you could see the determination in their eyes, and they persevered.
Aside from that, Sakumo also taught them the basic hand-signs for ninjutsu, thanks to the practice he did when he watches Kushina and Minato during training, he did it easily, but he still needs to practice his movement to become more fluid and learn to do it faster, while Kakashi still needs some time to get used to it.
Haru did all these things for a month before Sakumo went back to the battlefield. He did not believe that he could persevere all through this training every day. That's because he knows himself very much.
In his past life, Haru is very insecure about himself, he lacks motivation, patience and is likely to give up if things get too complicated and hard. It's not really his fault that he became like this, that's because when he was young, his parents always like to compare him to other children, and even to his siblings.
Haru is very obedient when he was a child, he loves his family very much, and he did not like to disappoint them, but even though he knew that he already did his best, but to his parent's eyes, it is still not enough.
His parent's disappointment and his inability to please them cause him to be timid, insecure, and lacks self-confidence. But his parents did not hate him because of it, they only did it because they wanted him to be better, that's why even though they are like that, he did not rebel and became an obedient child in front of them.
He tried his best in all the things he did, he became good at studying, but they still compare him to his siblings that are at the top of their school, he also tried to do other things he like, like dancing and acting, but even all of that, it did not cause his parents acknowledgment, but they prohibit him of doing those calling it a waste of time.
That's why Haru likes to dance contemporary since he felt that dancing expresses his feelings that he cannot let out. This continued until he was in university, he took a medical course. During his stay, he also discovered his sexual orientation of liking the same sex.
He was scared at first because he is afraid of his parents being angry and disappointed, he tried to change himself, but it was all for naught, he also blamed himself for being like this but, little by little, he accepted himself, since after watching all those around him being happy and confident about their orientation, he learned to acknowledge who he was.
He chooses to accept and live with it, he just studied hard to graduate and thought that maybe his parents will accept him if he did is best, that's why he concealed all of this until he graduated and started working.
This status quo lasted until he met a guy he like; this guy also took interest in him, and they hit it off. In this situation, since he already has a job, he thought that coming out of his parents is already good.
Because he like the guy very much, he chooses to come out, and to his surprised, his parents chase him out, he went to the guy to tell him what happened hoping to find comfort, but to his shocked the guy rejected him, he asks him why, and the guy said that he is not good enough.
Haru was devastated when he heard it, it took all his courage just to come out of his parents for him, but he receives a very painful slap of reality. The guy he like, did not like him and his family abandoned him for being homosexual.
Because of those situations, Haru was lifeless, and he just continued to do his task like a robot without any emotions, he came to work, do his job, come home, and watch anime or read manga or novels.
These things became his comfort zone, his oasis since by doing these things, he felt that he is still alive and can still express emotions. He laughs, when there is something funny in the scene, he cried when there are emotional scenes and he got angry when his favorite side character died.
Haru took a very long time to put himself back together, but it leaves a façade of being happy and positive outside, while deep inside, he is full of insecurity, self-blame, lacks confidence, and he felt that life is very uninteresting.
Because of these, he became a lazy ass, he likes to do things in the easiest way possible, and just wanted to become a couch potato.
But these all change when he came to this world, his new parents love him, he also has someone close to him. He chooses to change himself and his mind for the better since he also has something, he wanted to protect, and he did not want to stay the same.
Since he felt that, the old Him is gone and was replaced by the new him which is Haru version 2.0. Out with the old, and in with the new. He needs to wave bye-bye to his unmotivated insecure self and become confident and never giving up in times of difficulty self.
Aside from that, there is also one thing that he understands, and that is all the novels and fanfictions he read are all a f*cking lie!!!
What becoming stronger by just a short period of training? What continuous training when you are a kid? He has more stamina than other ordinary kids his age and he still felt tired, not only tired but the body pain is also real.
They all made it look easy on those novels, but the reality is not at all. He has been fooled, but he continues to do it anyway.
Since he knew that what he is experiencing right now is just the warmup stage before the real deal, heck he cannot even see the mountain known as 'Shinobi'.
Because in front of him are several smaller hills he needs to traverse since aside from hating pain, which he will experience every day, he is afraid of heights, he cannot swim, and he also knew that one day he needs to take a person's life.
But he is still not thinking of that situation for now and will leave the future problems to his future self, he just need to do his best in training. The good thing about Haru is that he will do his best for all his work regardless of his interest.
Aside from that, it is also thanks to Kakashi that he felt motivated in doing training, because seeing a child training seriously and not complaining, he cannot help but also feel determined and train hard.
Also, aside from daily physical training, Haru and Kakashi also practice their calligraphy to prepare the both of them in learning Fuinjutsu, they also learned more ninja knowledge from Rin.
And just like that, months pass by and the start of Konoha year 55, the second Shinobi war is at its conclusion.
