Chapter 6- The start of the journey to be a ninja (2)

Days pass by, Haru and Kakashi are now 4 years old and can now activate their chakra. This made the two excited and Haru ask his mother to guide them both since Sakumo is still busy with the post-war duties.

"Mom, can you guide us on how to circulate chakra? uncle Sakumo is still busy and cannot supervise our training."

"Oh! okay, let's start now then" replied his mom.

The three went to the training ground and Rin took out two scrolls and told them to read and understand what it said, she also explained to them how she is going to activate their chakra and how to guide it to its pathway.

The two read the scroll, and after they finish reading it, Haru asks his mom,

"Mom, why is this scroll different from the one I read in dad's study?"

"Oh, good thing you notice it," said Rin and she continued

"Well, to tell you the truth, the chakra awakening technique you are both reading is different from the ones use by other ninjas, that's because it is the chakra technique of our clan the Uzumaki's"

"Chakra technique of the Uzumaki's?" ask Haru

"Yup, why do you think that the Uzumaki's are excellent in Fuinjutsu even if their chakra reserves are very high.

That's because this technique helps us to regulate and control our chakra more efficiently, you need to know that to learn Fuinjutsu, you should have excellent chakra control, and this technique helps us in doing so."

"I see, so the ones who can use this are the Uzumaki's?" ask Kakashi

"Nope, you can also use this Kakashi, this technique not only helps in regulating and controlling, but it can also help to increase both the quantity and quality of chakra"

The two kids showed astonishment when Rin said those words, but Haru is skeptical since if there really is such a good chakra technique how come other nations or Konoha not know of it, he then asks his mother,

"Then can all other ninjas use this mom?"

"Nope, only those children who did not yet open their chakra pathway can use this technique, that's why both of you are very lucky, and I almost forgot, don't ever tell anyone about this, this technique is very important to our clan and no one but our clan know this technique… now only me and your aunt Kushina knows this."

Haru held his mother's hand when he saw the sad look on her face, Rin saw this and compose herself and she smiled and said,

"Okay, now that you already read the scroll, who would go first?"

"Let Kakashi be the first mom, I want to know how it looks"

"Okay Kakashi, come here first, face your back towards me and I'll help you activate your chakra."

Kakashi walks towards Rin, he sat in front while his back is facing Rin and she held up her hands and place it at the back of Kakashi.

Kakashi felt the flow of Rin's chakra and he began to guide it towards his chakra reserve, a cracking noise is heard which is the sound of unblocking his chakra pathway and a gush of chakra is seen surrounding him.

Kakashi began to circulate his chakra and controlled it according to the manual.

Haru seeing this had an excited expression on his face, 'So that's how you activate chakra,' he thought

"Okay next, Haru come here, it's your turn"

"Yes mom"

Rin began to guide Haru to activate his chakra, after just a second, a gush of massive amounts of chakra comes out of Haru, startling both his mother and Kakashi.

Even Haru is surprised by this, but he quickly composes himself and directed the chakra base on the manual his mother gave him.

Haru begun to perceive chakra naturally, his chakra moves like flowing water inside him, and the chaotic chakra he unleashes becomes very docile towards him.

This stunned Rin since she knows how difficult it is to guide chakra the first time, especially their huge reserves, but Haru did it instantly and naturally. After seeing Haru opened his eyes, she quickly rushes out to him and hugs him tightly.

"Oh, as expected of my son, you have a very high amount of chakra being an Uzumaki."

Said Rin proudly, after she calms down, she continued teaching them,

"Okay, now we need to check your chakra nature by using this"

She took out a chakra paper from her bosom and give it to them.

"What is this mom?" Ask Haru while playing dumb, of course, he knew about the chakra paper he cannot just say okay and get on with it.

"This is called chakra paper, with this, you can check your affinities; if the chakra paper is burned you have fire affinity, if it splits in the middle, means you have a wind affinity.

If it crumbled, means you have an earth affinity, if it soaks or got wet means you have the water affinity and if its wrinkled means you have a lightning affinity" explained her mother.

"Oh! So how do we use it?"

"Just infused your chakra on the paper and let the paper do its magic."

Haru inserted his chakra on the paper and the result made him dumbfounded, the chakra paper on his hand splits into two, the upper-left becomes wrinkled, the lower-left become wet, the upper-right, crumbled and the lower-right was burned.

He starred at the paper in his hand for a long time, until he heard Kakashi's excited voice,

"Aunt I have lightning affinity"

When Rin heard Kakashi, she looks at Kakashi's chakra paper and said,

"As expected of you Kakashi, having lightning affinity just like Sakumo-nii," Rin pats, Kakashi's head, and Kakashi smiled at her.

Rin then saw the look of her son and ask,

"How about you Haru?"

Haru hearing her mother's voice brought back his senses, and said,

"Mom, looks like I have all the 5 affinities"

Rin hearing her son's words become dumbfounded and quickly look at the chakra paper and she was shocked and elated,

"OMG! My son is really a genius"

She hugs Haru tightly and even Kakashi is shocked by what Haru said and looks at his hand. After a while, Rin calmed down and said to Haru seriously,

"Haru, although I am very happy for you, you need to know that the ninja world is not all sunshine and rainbow, you must not let anybody know that you possess those five chakra affinities, since you may be targeted from another country and even in our own country, do you understand?"

Haru's excitement died down the instant he heard his mother's words and thought about the consequences of having his all-elemental affinity known, well the first thing to avoid is the one-eyed cyclops. Then other countries since they don't want another potential danger to them. He looks at his mother and asks,

"Then I can only show how many?"

Rin looks at the two of them and said, "You can choose three, although having three chakra affinities is very rare, it is still understandable, so you may choose which element you what to use in public"

Haru nodded and looks at Kakashi and said, "Okay mom, I'll just use lightning, Fire, and wind in public"

Rin nodded her head and said, "Although I told you not to let anybody know, it is not like you can't use them, you just need to be cautious. But don't worry I'll talk to Sakumo-san and your father about this to know what we are going to do."

Haru nodded and Rin said, "Okay, continue meditating for today"

The two nods their head and continue meditating, once Rin walks away,

Haru looks at the chakra paper in his hands and clenches his fist, although he is still surprised by having all-elemental affinity, this did not get to his head, since he knows himself well, he knows that having this potential is the start to have more confidence in himself.

'With this chance, I can do my best and make myself stronger, so that I can protect myself and family better'

Haru's eyes are full of determination until he is brought back by Kakashi's words

"You are amazing Haru, you have all the elements"

Haru looks at Kakashi's sincere eyes and said, "Hehe, you are also amazing Kakashi, let us do our best okay"

Kakashi smiled at Haru although he feels envious of him, he stills felt happy about his brother's achievement, since he knows that Haru is better than him, he strives to catch up to him and do his best.

The two continued meditating, while at the same time, Haru felt that there is more to this situation, but he just pushes the thought at the back of his head and concentrate on meditating.
