"Heaven's Hundred Pillars!"

Rize raised her palm towards the sky, hundreds of icicles appeared in the sky. It would take someone hundreds of hours of practice to form ice out of nothing and create hundreds of icicles. But for Rize, it was nothing but child's play.

She brought forth her hand and the icicles followed her command. It was as if they had a mind of their own. The barrage of icicles poured down on the bandits from the sky.

The bandits used all of the jutsus they knew that could repel ice, but it was no use. There were too many icicles and their chakra was starting to deplete rather quickly.

Suddenly, one of the bandits charged towards Rize. However, she didn't move. She watched the bandit come closer to her with a blade in their hand. She chuckled, the bandit was probably thinking this was their chance.

"However, such chances don't come so easily."

Rize flicked her finger towards her and without the bandit realizing it, their head had been cleanly cut off by the icicle she was controlling. Rize grabbed the decapitated head and made it face towards her.

There was once a theory that said one's body would still be alive for a few more seconds even if their head was cut off. So Rize was testing the theory, she wanted the last thing the bandit saw before death was her. She wanted them to experience such fear before they truly died.

"Cold World." Rize muttered.

The surrounding area's temperature decreased by a lot. The ground started to cover in ice causing the many bandits to slip and be pierced by the icicles that were hailing from the sky.

Within minutes, the fight was over. The bandits stood no chance against someone who had absolute control over ice. Despite the immense use of her abilities, Rize realized that not even a third of her chakra had been depleted.

It was as if she had an infinite amount of chakra in her body that was prepared to be used however she wanted.

The surrounding area started to return to normal, the icicles disappeared, the ice floor disappeared, and the temperature had risen. It was like nothing happened in the first place, there wasn't even a trace of ice.

Rize let out a sigh and walked towards the carriage. She peeked inside and noticed a case that the two people were holding. She had let them live to question them, but seeing as they were too scared, and their entire body was trembling, there was no point.

She unsheathed her katana and killed the two figures with one clean slice. They were of no use since they wouldn't even be able to comprehend the words that would come out of her mouth.

Rize took the case and sheathed her katana. The pools of blood from the dead bandits had painted the bottom of her shoes red.

A few steps away, there was a person lurking behind the trees. She had completely hidden her presence and the chakra that leaked out of her body.

She watched the masked figure cleanly kill the two helpless figures in the carriage. She widened her eyes in surprise at how someone that young could kill so easily. But also strong, she could tell by the swing of her blade that she was skilled.

That was more than a reason to kill her.

"Scorch Release, Incinerating Flare Technique!"

The sudden attack blew up the carriage and knocked Rize back. But she quickly recovered and scanned her surroundings for signs of the attack.

That was when she saw her.

The figure had pupiless brown eyes and green hair that was tied in a bun on top of her head with a hair needle running through it and one short and long strands of hair with orange tips framing each side of her face.

"Ah, as I thought, I should've come with them earlier. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen." the figure said as she shook her head when she saw the pile of corpses.

Rize furrowed her eyebrows, she didn't sense this person earlier. How did she suddenly appear out of nowhere and attack her?

"Who are you?" Rize asked.

"I should be the one asking you that, after all, you're the one who attacked my people. And since you're capable of killing them, you're a higher rank than those Jonin people." she replied.

"So you're from the land of Sunagakure, I've heard about your country before." Rize said.

"Is that so? Then I'm more surprised you don't know my name. For I am Pakura, the famed kunoichi of Sunagakure." Pakura said.

Rize silently cursed Minato in her head. He never mentioned anything about famous kunoichis that would suddenly appear. But it didn't matter, her job was done.

Suddenly, a kunai zipped through the air, and Rize managed to dodge it in time. It almost grazed the side of the mask she was wearing.

"Oh? You managed to dodge that? You're quite strong." Pakura said.

Rize figured out a few of Pakura's abilities. She was fast and extremely skilled. She had precise accuracy and control over weapons. Moreover, she was able to send attacks that didn't have killing intent. Yet, Pakura meant to kill.

"And so are you, no wonder you're a famed kunoichi at Sunagakure. Your level of skill is absurd and you look quite young too." Rize said.

"Bahahaha! Thank you for the compliment, but that won't stop me from attacking you. Speaking of age, you seem to be around fourteen." Pakura said.

"Yes, that is my age." Rize said, there was no point in hiding things since Pakura could see through it all.

Those damned pupiless eyes of hers.

"Aren't you quite young to be…ah! You must be from Konoha, they like to train the young, and turn them into formidable shinobi for the future. No wonder why you attacked them."

"So? Are you going to kill me? What are you planning to do?"

"If you hand the case over, I'll let you live, but you'll have to endure a few cuts on your body. If you fail to comply, you're going to die."

"Sorry, but I have no intention of giving this to you or dying."

"Then that's too bad."
