"We will be doing a survival exercise, but not just any regular exercise though." Kakashi said with an evil laugh.

"Then what kind of exercise is it?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, what's so funny anyway?" Sakura asked.

"Hehe, if I tell you, I know you guys will lose motivation, and interest." Kakashi replied.

"Huh?"

"Of the twenty seven graduates, only nine will be recognized as junior ninjas. The remaining eighteen will be sent back to the academy which means this test is going to be extremely hard with a failure rate of sixty six percent or higher!"

There were shocked faces across the three kids. As for Rize, she was confused. Wasn't she trying to get into the academy? Why was this test saying that she would graduate? It didn't make any sense.

"See?" Kakashi said, "I told you and now you guys look so disenchanted!"

"Eh?!"

"Kakashi, when will the test begin?" Rize asked.

Kakashi looked up at the sky, "Hmm, let's start two hours from now. There's a new book coming out tomorrow so I'll be busy. So go home, get your ninja tools, we'll meet at the open area ahead!"

Rize grabbed the katana Mikoto had given to her as a replacement. She said her original katana was too dangerous and gave her this one. It wasn't bad though, it was light, sharp, and she could wield it with ease.

"Oh? You're not leaving? The others are already going to grab their stuff." Kakashi said.

Rize shook her head, "All I need is this katana, I don't have any tools to begin with anyway. And I also have to keep watch on you so you won't be late."

"How troublesome…I wanted to go do something but I guess not." Kakashi muttered.

"That's too bad, I want to get this over with quickly so I can talk to Minato again." Rize said.

And just like that, Rize followed Kakashi around for two hours, and made sure they arrived at the open area exactly at the two hour mark.

"Oh? You guys are already here?" Naruto asked. He was carrying a rather large bag.

"Good, I don't want to wait hours here because he was late, and had to go do something." Sakura said.

"Then you guys have to thank me for that." Rize said with a smile, "I made sure our dear sensei didn't run off and make us wait for hours."

"Anyway, for the test, you will be taking these two bells from me." Kakashi said as he pulled out the two bells. "And whoever can't get one by noon, they'll be tied to the log, no lunch for them, and I'll eat their food right in front of them."

*GROWL*

Due to the fact that they were hurrying to meet Kakashi at the rooftop and preparing for the test, they didn't have any time to eat at all because of their adrenaline.

"Damn it, I should've ate." Sasuke muttered as he remembered the onigiri on the table that his mother prepared.

"But wait, why are there only two bells?" Sakura asked.

"Isn't that obvious? Only two will eat and the other one will be tied to the log. And that person will be disqualified and return to the academy." Kakashi replied.

"But that's not fair!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Nothing is ever fair. Also, if you don't come with the intent to kill me to take this bell, then go home, sleep, and prepare for class tomorrow." Kakashi said.

"Eh? But that's dangerous!"

"Yeah! That's right!"

Rize didn't bother listening to the blonde and pink hair make excuses. It was starting to annoy her.

She quickly dashed forward and reached for the bell. And just in the nick of time, Kakashi stepped back with a surprised look on his face.

Rize quickly recovered. Since only going for the bell wasn't going to get her anywhere, she decided there was only one option left, and that was to kill him.

Kakashi felt a shiver down his spine.

Rize swung her fist at Kakashi who had blocked it with his elbow. Though she expected this, he wasn't a Jonin for nothing. She went for an uppercut in which he decided to dodge instead.

'Hmm, I've seen it all. Let's get started then.'

Rize's figure turned into a blur, she appeared behind Kakashi, and went for a punch directly at the cervical vertebrae which could potentially paralyze him.

Realizing this, Kakashi quickly jumped back, but felt the same presence behind him again. Only this time when he turned around, Rize's figure had already disappeared.

Suddenly, his instincts screamed to dodge.

Rize raised her palm and flicked her finger up. A sharp icicle had appeared from beneath the ground where Kakashi stood. If he was any later, he would've suffered a fatal injury.

'This girl is really trying to kill me!'

Rize clicked her tongue, she respected him. He was strong, had a quick reaction time, and his fighting instincts are off the charts. However, this only made her more motivated. She wanted to have a fun and long battle with the opponent in front of her.

Kakashi was now confident that the four students were not normal, especially the one named Rize Uchiha who had a crazed smile while trying to kill him.

'I might have to use it.'

Rize ran towards Kakashi, she raised her palm towards the sky. Several forms of icicles had formed out of nothing.

Again, Kakashi was shocked. He was informed that Rize was able to use ice jutsus due to her chakra nature. But to be able to wield it to his degree without chanting it.

'This girl is not normal!'

As for Rize, it only felt like she had another limb. She didn't need to perform the hand seals. All she had to do was bring out the chakra from her palm and combine it with the chakra that was in the air. After all, the energy filled the world.

That was also what she learned in her past life too.

Energy was everywhere.

The icicles went forward at Kakashi at an abnormal speed. It wasn't a speed a normal fourteen year old girl could make.

Kakashi could dodge it, but he couldn't. Rize had led him into a trap where if he dodged, the icicles would hit the three students. But he felt like she wouldn't hit them.

And boy was he wrong.

Rize did not care, if sacrifices had to be made to help her win, then she would sacrifice them.

At the last second, Kakashi realized the icicles were not stopping. He was sure they weren't able to dodge the icicles since it was too quick for them. He revealed his left eye, the eye that had the Sharingan in it.

Rize widened her eyes in surprise.

'He had something like that too?'

"Chidori!"

Several streaks of lightning appeared as the icicles shattered into pieces.

When he looked back, he didn't see Rize, but an icicle directly coming at his head. Suddenly, he sensed Rize's presence beneath him who was most likely reaching for the bells.

Kakashi couldn't get out, he was stuck in between. He would get pierced by the icicle if he wanted to move away from the bell. The icicle was become closer and closer.

It was as if everything was moving in slow motion.

*RING* *RING*

Right when Rize caught the bell, the icicle that was inches away from Kakashi's head disappeared.

He had lost due because he had underestimated his opponent. But it wasn't her skill that he underestimated, it was the girl's ability to willingly kill.

Kakashi was forced to defend the three or else they would've been killed by the icicles too. He furrowed his eyebrows, he needed to report the behavior of Rize to the Hokage.

"Well, looks like I won." Rize said as she played with the two bells in her hand with a grin.
