Disappointment!

"You don't know, huh!" Tsunade said in a low voice, and she sat down on the seat with a disappointed look on her face.

"If this is a mission, what would you have done? Since you can't say it, I will let you make the choice and have you understand everything."

"Kazu, do it."

Tsunade said while staring at Jiraiya and Hiruzen turned to look at Kazutora. EMS symbol appeared in their eyes and the four of them found themselves appearing in a different place.

Kazutora, Tsunade and Hiruzen were in the sky staring at Jiraiya on the ground. Jiraiya found himself appearing in a different space, but he forgot most of the things. He didn't remember that they were talking in the Hokage office, and Jiraiya only knew that he was on a mission to save a few people.

"Soon, he will meet them," Kazutora said while looking at Tsunade, who nodded at his words. Hiruzen had been trying to break the illusion, but he found out that he couldn't.

What stunned him was the level of the illusion; everything felt real as if they were in a different world.

"What kind of mission did he get?" Hiruzen asked with a thoughtful look on his face and Kazutora said, "He is on a mission to save a few people. As for what choice he will make, we will know it."

"He doesn't remember Tsunade's words so Jiraiya would act the same in the real world."

Kazutora said while creating a drink in the illusion and he passed the drink to Tsunade and Hiruzen. Tsunade took the drink without any change in her expression, but Hiruzen coughed twice, and he took it because it was rude to reject the things given to him.

"Tsk! Old man, what are you showing here?" Tsunade muttered while clicking her tongue and Hiruzen just laughed at the words, and he opened the drink.

They saw Jiraiya reaching the place and found four people out of which one was about to die. The scene made Hiruzen frown, but he didn't say anything. He knew that it was common for people to die on a mission, but he wondered if it could make a change in Jiraiya's decision.

From their location, Hiruzen looked at Kumo Ninjas rushing in Jiraiya's direction, and he knew that soon confrontation would start.

Jiraiya looked at the people he was on mission to save, and he summoned the stomach of Elder Toad and put them in. He had sensed people rushing in their place, and Jiraiya knew that a fight would happen.

Soon, the Kumo ANBU reached the place, and they were attacked by Jiraiya who took care of them easily.

Hiruzen frowned as he looked at the fight scene and he muttered, "Jiraiya's strength has regressed."

"He didn't have killing intent in his attacks and instead subdued them," Tsunade murmured as she looked at Jiraiya trying to get information from them, but the ANBU committed suicide before he could even get anything.

"Tsk! That's what happens when you deal with them half-heartedly." Tsunade said while clicking her tongue and Hiruzen frowned at Jiraiya's behavior.

They saw Jiraiya leaving the place and then he was enveloped by Elder Toad's stomach.

"Jiraiya-Sama!"

The three people called Jiraiya with a blank look in their eyes and the fourth one had died in between. Looking at them, Jiraiya's expression changed, and he couldn't even see light of life in their eyes.

"Jiraiya-Sama, thank you for coming but we have no intentions of going back." The woman in the group said while the two men nodded at her words.

"I don't have any intention of living but before I die, I hope to take some revenge."

"Jiraiya-Sama, can you give us all of your detonating Talismans and send us back to Kumo? I will blow all the detonating talismans there."

One of the men said while the other two agreed with him.

"It's not possible with Kumo's security and you will be caught before you can even enter. You three, it would be better to go back to Konoha and do--"

"Do what? Jiraiya-Sama. After going through everything, I don't think I am capable of living anymore. You won't understand what we went through so don't decide for us."

"Yes, Jiraiya-Sama. I am thankful to Hokage-Sama for sending people to save us but after escaping, we understand that it would have been better to just blow up in Kumo."

"So, Jiraiya-Sama! You can leave us here and go back. We have no plans on living and before dying, we will at least take some Kumo bastards down."

"If possible, you can give us everything you have and then leave. For someone of your strength, the ninja tools shouldn't matter much but for us, every single tool can help us kill one more Kumo Ninja."

Hearing their words, a conflicted look appeared on Jiraiya's face and Hiruzen, Tsunade and Kazutora in the air had their focus on Jiraiya's actions.

"I am sorry, but I can't let you all throw your lives away." Jiraiya said and the three remaining people looked at him with dull eyes.

"Even if you take us away, we will kill ourselves." The woman said while staring at Jiraiya, and Jiraiya looked at her.

"Dying doesn't mean anything. You shouldn't think dying instead try to li---"

"Please stop forcing your views on us!" One of the men shouted at Jiraiya who was stunned by his words.

"We said that we don't want to live. You, who haven't gone through anything don't understand how we feel."

"Every second we like, the memories of the past and the torture we have received are killing us from inside!"

"You said we should live, but what is left to live for? I don't think I am capable of having a new life and I know that it would be impossible for me even to sleep inside."

"The idea of living is a nightmare to me, and do you want us to face this nightmare for the rest of my life?"

The man shouted at Jiraiya who looked at him for a moment. A sigh escaped Jiraiya's lips and he said, "What do you three want me to do?"

"We want revenge before dying. Jiraiya-Sama, all you have to do is send us to Kumo safely and we will detonate the Detonating Talismans in the middle of the village."

"Haha! This way, the fire will spread in the village and the whole of Kumo will start to burn."

The woman said with a crazy look on her face and Jiraiya couldn't face her because of her words.

"You want to detonate in the middle of the village? What about civilians and others there? They don't know anything about this."

"Haha! Civilians? Why the fuck should I care for them? When I was getting tortured, they must be living a good life. Now, I will make them see the hell I suffered."

"Besides, they are from Kumogakure. Since they have been living a good life because of Kumo Ninjas, then they should also pay in return for the deeds and debts of Kumo Ninjas."

"Jiraiya-Sama, why do care of those in Kumogakure? Did they care about the attack on Konoha? Did they care about us? Why the fuck should we care about them?"

The woman shouted with a crazy look in her eyes and her eyes made Jiraiya step back. He wanted to say something, but her eyes made him gulp the words that he wanted to convey.

"But this would lead to war. Do you want to start another war and cause more casualties?" Jiraiya said with a troubled look on his face and he saw the faces of three of them changing.

"War? Hahahaha! How would they know that it was us who did this? We are going to die so no one in Kumo will know about us."

"Jiraiya-Sama, you surely won't tell that we caused the disaster in the village. So, what are you worried about?"

"Or do you not want us to take revenge on Kumogakure?"

The other man who had been silent from the start, asked the questions to Jiraiya and when they didn't receive an answer, their expression changed.

"Ji-Jiraiya-Sama, d-do you want us to do nothing? We want to die but you don't want us to. We want to attack Kumo, but you don't want us to."

"What do you mean by this? Do-Do you not care about us? Do you want us to remain silent and forget the torture they did to us?"

"Huh? Ji-Jiraiya-Sama, why are you so silent? Why are you not answering our questions?"

Looking at the scene, a disappointed look appeared on Hiruzen's face, and he muttered, "Has Jiraiya become like this? When did he change and start to care more about the world first instead of Konoha?"

"Tsk! Isn't this because of those damn toads? They must have done something and taught Jiraiya to care more about the world than Konoha?"

"If it was any Konoha Ninja, even a Genin knows what to do in this situation. Did he forget what happened in the Third Shinobi War?"

Tsunade cursed the toads as she looked at her old comrades and she looked at Kazutora.

"End the illusion, we already know that he won't do anything and will bring them back to Konoha. They will commit suicide and then it would be the downfall of Jiraiya's mentality."

"It would be better to not see anything and not open a Pandora's box."

Tsunade said while shaking her head and Hiruzen agreed with her words. He didn't know what Pandora's box was, but he knew that it would be better to not know the decision and the result completely.

Kazutora stopped the illusion and everything around him disappeared. Memories that were sealed in his mind were recovered and seeing the disappointed looks of Tsunade and Hiruzen, a dull look appeared in Jiraiya's eyes as he understood what had happened.

Jiraiya's eyes fell on Kazutora who had pulled him an Illusion without him noticing anything and he felt some fear in his heart. He thought that Kazutora was like Tsunade who dealt with others with punches and kicks, but the illusion made him understand that he doesn't even know the full strength of Kazutora.

"Jiraiya, what is more important to you, Konoha or the world?"

Tsunade said while sighing though she already knew the answer. Just as she expected, Jiraiya didn't say anything, and Tsunade waved her hand.

"Go and do whatever you want, I don't care. But if I find you interfering with my work because of your peace and ideals, I will beat you and make sure that you can't be Ninja in future."

"Also, stop interacting with those damn toads. I didn't see them when we were at war, and I don't want to see them in peaceful times. Tell them, if they want to interfere in the ninja world, then come out of their land and do it on their own."

"If I find another person influenced by them, tell them that Konoha will either side with Ryuchi Cave or Shikkotsu Forest to end them."

"Go away! I don't want to see you now. Don't even think of going to the bathhouse or I will break your third leg."

Tsunade said with an irked look on her face and Jiraiya wanted to say something, but he couldn't deny her words. He didn't understand why they were so anti towards Mt. Myobokku and why they didn't care about the prophecy of Sage Gamamaru who had been alive for 1000 years and even had helped Sage of Six Paths.
