Chapter 3: Optical link established

<Note> if I put ' it is inner monologue and " is speech.

"Open care package"

As I said those words, pictures of different pieces of technology appeared inside of my mind, and I asked the system "What are these pictures in my head?"

[They are all of the technology you currently have unlocked. try focusing on one.] the system replied

I turned my attention to one of the pictures, a picture of a camera.

A torrent of words appeared in my mind describing the stats and function of the camera.

{ Item: Basic 360 camera}

{Description: The most basic of cameras. It can only see the colors that humans could and has a low resolution. It also requires a lot of maintenance due to its fragile interior}}

{Equip?}

"Woah, That was weird. I never expected that to happen!" I muttered

"So uh, What exactly even do I have this for if I cant use it?" I asked inquisitively.

[Focus on the camera and press the {Equip} button] the system returned.

"Ok, uh, how exactly would it "equip" the camera" I ask confused

[We are in a world of magic, Why do you need explanations?] The system returned smartassedly

"True, i don't think I need an EXPLANTION FOR WHY I AM A LITERAL MACHINE!" I said angrily.

I focused back on the picture of the camera and looked around for the {equip} button, and shortly after, I found the button and focused on it.

After I focused on the {equip} button, it disappeared and the entire card started to leave my mind, rising up to the very top of my imagination.

Soon after, I felt a sensation on my "body" as if it was moving around, and then, the vision cut in.

Pain, I felt pain. Worse than when I was being reincarnated, I was rolling around in pain inside of my head, because I have no actual control over my body. After a good 10 minutes of pure pain, it finally subsided, and I got a view of my surroundings.
