I woke up, with the worst headache i have ever had, like a thousand bees were stabbing my brain like I killed their queen or stole their honey.

"Ugh? why does the reincarnation process have to hurt so much?" I asked in my mind, not expecting anybody to answer.

"AHH, WHO SAID THAT?" I said very confused and slightly startled.

[I am your system. I exist only to assist you in gathering power and survival] the system said.

"Where am I, and why can't I see anything?" I asked slightly less startled and confused.

"Wait, optical circuitry? IM A MACHINE? COOL!" I said extremely excited.

"As a machine, would I have access to mana?" I asked the system.

As if waiting for this question, the system replied with [Currently, you can't use mana because you havent unlocked mana research. magic research goes slower than technology research do to your species.]

"Oh. Well how am I supposed to see?" I asked.
