The last hunt before returning…

Yeshua could feel the spirit particles in the surroundings gathering in his body. This was a sign that he was going to advance to the next stage.

After his bloody and difficult battle with a real feral as well as the training he did after his last advancement, Yeshua would advance again and would be one step further on his path to strength.

Yeshua's soul that was refined by his cultivation was being tempered thoroughly by the power of nature. He was filled with excitement while feeling his soul tingling because of the spirit particles.

During the cultivation of the soul, the soul was being refined by the spirit genes in the body. It was like turning an iron ore filled with impurities into an iron ingot. Once the soul was refined enough, the power of nature would thoroughly temper it using the spirit particles to strengthen the soul and advance it to the next stage.

Yeshua could also feel the dormant spirit genes inside his cells were further being strengthened. Although he was in his human form, the spirit genes in his body would still be strengthened by the power of nature.

The attributes and affinity of his Windrage Wolf Alter Beast would increase. Once he transformed into a Windrage Wolf, Yeshua was sure that his body would be much stronger, faster, and tougher. His affinity with the wind would also allow him to strengthen his wind abilities.

After a while, Yeshua completely advanced to Level 1 Stage 4. His eyes shone with strong radiance as he felt the strength that the advancement granted to him.

"This speed of cultivation is too much! It's only a month since I became an Alterer, but I actually advance by three stages." Yeshua said with excitement and disbelief.

Yeshua was really astonished by his speed of cultivation, but he was reminded of the battles he went through especially the battle with Grey and Jason.

Yeshua also remembered that the speed of his cultivation was because of his soul potential. The true Yeshua was a son of powerful Alterers and two young souls were fused in his body, so Yeshua surmised that his soul potential was very high.

"And maybe I can be considered a true genius! Hehe, not only my handsomeness can seal the heaven, but I'm also a true genius that will face slap those sons of heavens in this world! Just wait my future wives! This dominating emperor will conquer this world!"

This rascal Yeshua was really lost in his fantasy that he was spouting nonsense. The excitement of advancing his strength and the pressure left by the bloody battle with a real feral forced out the jester inside him.

"Okay! I'll rest now, tomorrow I'll return to the Red Wood City. Sigh, I was only dirty, but after that battle, my gene clothes became tattered and singed. A young man wearing tattered and singed clothes was traversing the wild forest barefooted. Around him were tall redwood trees with dark green leaves rustled by the cold early wind. Though it could be seen that he was young, the weaker beasts around him were running away after feeling the strength he was emanating.

Only a month had passed since he entered the Red Wood Forest, but Yeshua looked more mature than before. His tall and lean body was more muscular, and his skin had a bronze sheen reflected by the sun.

His eyes that were showing innocence before were looking vigilantly around him while he was carefully treading the forest. Being careful was something that Yeshua got used to after staying in the forest for a month.

Yeshua was going back to the city like what he planned last night. He was not that deep in the forest since he wanted to be careful in his first hunting. The savage and spirit beasts he encountered while going back did not interest Yeshua. He already had too much loot with him, and he would only waste his time hunting the low-level beasts.

Suddenly, Yeshua sensed something a distance from him. He carefully approached the place while making sure that his movements would not alert anyone of his presence.

While hiding in the shade of a redwood tree, Yeshua saw a group of green hulking beasts. "Forest Orcs, and there's a lot of them. Looking at this group of giants is really intimidating."

Same with the one that Yeshua encountered before, the forest orcs that Yeshua was looking at also had tall and bulky bodies as well as green coarse skin like rocks. There were four of them and Yeshua could feel that the strongest among them was also a Level 1 Stage 4 like him.

The forest orcs were surrounding a savage beast. The savage bear was snarling at the hunters that were planning to kill it. The dense black fur covering its massive body was bristling as it bared its fangs to the forest orcs. The bear was flashing the claws in its big paws while standing and intimidating the green beasts with its body that reached more than 3 meters.

Yeshua estimated that the savage bear was around Level 1 Stage 5 of strength based on the qualities of its body. With his stage of strength, Yeshua's sensitivity in ascertaining the strength of the beasts around his level was very accurate.

Yeshua crossed his arms and held his chin with his right hand. He was quietly thinking while looking at the battle in front of him.

"Hmm, in this past month, I also encountered stronger spirit beasts, but aside from the alpha Wind Wolf, the strongest that I hunted was around stage 3, so the highest quality of gene materials that I have are also around stage 3.

The massive body of the black bear was smashed to the ground by the Stage 4 Forest Orc using its stone club. The attack put the savage beast to its last breath leaving the four orcs exhausted and with injuries.

After patiently waiting, the chance that Yeshua was waiting had come!

With a sudden flash of light, Yeshua's body glittered with sparkles of light and transformed into a Windrage Wolf!

Boom!

Dust burst on the path of the blue dashing wind as a ghostly silhouette quickly reached the Stage 4 Forest Orc!

The heavy breathing Forest Orc was startled at the appearance of a blue ghost during the daylight, but before the green beast could react, blue flashes of light carrying a violent wind covered its vision, and the last thing that it saw was the receding figure of a headless bulky green body holding a stone club.

Bang!

As the severed head of the forest orc slammed to the ground, a fountain of red blood spurted from the bloody neck of its headless body!

The Forest Orc with the strength of a Level 1 Stage 4 was instantly killed by the ambush of the ghostly werewolf!
