Third war with the matrix.

Confusion and panic were what one could see throughout the matrix expression.

They were confused by where Ozzie got on. Just a moment ago, he was standing like a tower above them but suddenly disappeared.

They were panicking because they thought that a problem might have actually occurred with the portal. Green was the one that feared the most. He didn't want his third attempt at opening a bit portal to be in vain.

However, when they saw that the portal was not closing, not we're the creatures coming out from it being sucked back, the matrix suspected Ozzie might have run away.

It was then Mia issued an order.

"Move around... Find him!" he shouted.

Not long though, he have got a response, but it was from someone inside the portal. It was from speed.

As for what he had to say. He informed him that Ozzie was back to the other side, and not only that, he seems to be in a serious fight with a beast.

Hearing this, Nate was surprised. For a couple of weeks, Speed has been with I Ozzie, and the matrix has been watching all the Ozzie has been doing.

How to fight and many more. They knew that no beast on the other side can challenge Ozzie in his colossal form.

Therefore, it came as a surprise to them that a beast have suddenly challenged him and for some reason, Ozzie was taking time to finish the fight.

Mia wanted to go and take a look, but it was then another report has been sent.

"Sir...we are under attack!" the man shouted.

Mia's face frowned and so did the others. No one knows them so much to start an attack on them. That is except for one person.

"Why now of all time!" Mia shouted.

"Quick... Get everything ready, if possible make sure they do not reach this island," Mia commanded.

After the man left, Mia rubbed his palms together as he smile.

"Get the colonizer out... I am sure Nate will like the surprise I have for him," he said with grime.

The boat's speed has been increased to its maximum as it speeds directly towards the island.

Just as they were approaching, suddenly, showers of missiles could be seen coming from the island.

"Shit... They have noticed us, we no longer have the elements of surprise with us," Sin cursed angrily.

"But.. At least Ozzie is no longer here," Lynn said.

"Ozzie? Is he even as troublesome as the matrix?" Sin asked.

A scoff was heard from the side. Sin looked to see Peter who just scoffed at him. "Ignorance..." he muttered.

"Are you guys going to start arguing when we are about to be blown up by missiles!" Levi shouted.

Just then, Lynn stretched out her hand. Nothing happened though, but they could see that the missile trajectory have changed slightly, allowing them all to fall just by their sides and explode.

Regardless, the explosion still occurred and they were engulfed by flames.

There was a moment of silence on the island as they thought that the others have exploded.

Shortly after though, the same ship was seen shooting out from the clouds of fire unscathed.

Everyone was surprised at what just happened. Somehow, Lynn was able to protect them all from the fire damage.

Lynn looked at her hands in satisfaction. After Leo told her about the inner peace technique, she has been cultivating the power and has discovered just how powerful it was.

She also discovered that what one could do with was vast. Just now, she has coated everyone both the boat with her inner peace.

Because of that, the explosion and fire were not able to harm a single hair on their body.

Still, the boat was approaching the base with speed.

"We have no time to slow down, everyone braces yourself!" Leo shouted.

Shortly after, their boat shot out from the water and started skidding through the floor. Some of the matrix men that were stationed at the bay were knocked out sending the flying.

Immediately, everyone sprung into action. Twain cocked his guns and readied them. The teleport was activated.

Not for safety measures, but rather, for the others waiting in the base also come through. It didn't take long for them to arrive as well.

Soldiers from General Goo's base and also those from Bull base.

Gunfire and explosions started to resound throughout the base as their armies pushed back.

Although Sin said that the matrix force was not big, he was only comparing it with the force they used in attacking him.

But the truth is that the matrix has about ten thousand humans working for them. This was at least half of the force they used in operating before.

Just before Peter and Sin could also go out to attack, Leo called them back.

"Your twos place are not here, you have to find the matrix, the sooner we get rid of them, the better," Leo said.

Sin looked at Peter and sighed.

"What?! Do you think I am happy to work hand in hand with you?" Peter asked annoyingly.

Sin sighed. He hates that Peter was going to be his companion, but for the sake of killing the matrix, he will at least suppress his hostility towards Peter.

"No need for your cat and dog fight, be quiet at ending this, maybe, this war, won't be needing Nate in the end," Leo instructed...

The two nodded and immediately dash out. With Peter's speed, he carried Sin and the two started racing towards the direction of the portal ignoring the men on the road.

Meanwhile, Leo and Mark stayed behind, and from the spy birds, they were able to oversee the entire battle on the island, so far, their force were having the upper hand which was good news.

However, Leo's attention was mainly focused on the rift. He has been looking in that direction, afraid that Ozzie might pop out again, but that never happened which he takes as a good thing.

This could only mean that Lyon was able to keep him at bay, at least for now.

That was when Leo noticed that the beasts that were coming out from the portals were all heading towards another direction.

He clenched his fist. This was terrible news to them. This could only mean that the colonizer was coming. He do not know when, but he was sure that it was coming.

"This is strange,"

Just then, a voice interrupted him from his thoughts. Leo looked over to see Mark and the scientist surrounding a man that was trying to break free.

"What's wrong?" Leo asked.

"We could not see any ring or bracelet on them," Mark reported.

Leo first looked at Lynn. "I can sense his emotionally unstable, just like the ones I felt from before, he is definitely under the matrix influence," Lynn said.

"Kim!" Leo called out.

Kim, who have arrived with his friends where came over.

"Can your pet look into him?" Leo asked.

After nates system turned off, it was now hard for their new system to tell when a matrix was nearby or not.

After Kim was told what to do, he quickly instructed his pet oni, to look into the work...

Oni sprung out from his shoulder and fall on top of the man's chest.

His entire body was covered and not long, the worm creature took its original form with a mask on its mouth.

'So this was it... The matrix has to sound a way to blend its power into someone's body. Although it might work on normal people, it won't work on some of the hordes,' Leo took the mask.

Just then, the one that was freed from the matrix captivity suddenly said.

"Please...help them... Those people are going to get rid of us all!" he shouted.
