Chapter 109 A Ray of Hope

The informants that the protectors summoned at her domain manage to find some information about the black book they received from Siegfried. While the two red heads are busy training with Falael, the protector, her informants and Serra from the Valkyrie Guild are having a meeting and discussing what they discovered about the Illithids.

"Our Rune Knights spent almost an entire week trying to decipher the book you sent protector. Fortunately, albeit not completely we manage to decipher parts of it." One of the informant explained. "You were right about their targets, its the God's Chosen, specifically their brains. They also have something they're calling Elder Brain that acts as their leader of some sort. We also found out that there might be a way to enter their hideout." he added.

'A way to infiltrate they're hideout? If we find out more about these creatures, that might be our best option to end this once and for all.' Delmira said inwardly. "What do we need to do in order for us to infiltrate their hideout?" Delmira asked after pondering for a minute.

The informants explains the way on how to infiltrate the Illithid's hideout. They need to collect rare materials even the protector doesn't have access to right away however with her connections they can easily make arrangements. As for the second requirement, they need at least 20 Master Warlock to do the ritual together as it need a lot of Abyssal Mana in order for it to accurately work.

After hearing the explanation Delmira and the rest of the adventurers present in the room including the guild leader of the Valkyrie Guild immediately act upon the plan they made. Serra is tasked to at least find 10 Master Warlock that will partake in the ritual while Delmira and his people will recruit the rest, find the ingredients needed and find a safe location to do the ritual.

Unbeknownst to the people present in the room, there's two red heard eavesdropping. Delmira might've not notice them since her mind is occupied by the information she was presented.

'Isn't Clyde a Master Wawrlock?' Cleo said inwardly. The red head behind him looks like she's thinking the same thing as him.

"What are you thinking darling?" Leah asked. Both of them are huddled at the nearby bush while taking a peek at the room from the windows every now and then to avoid being seen by the people inside the room.

"Yes, Cleo what are you thinking?" A mysterious raspy voice behind them said.

The two lightly jump in horror while slowly turning their head at the direction of the voice.

"T-Teacher Falael..." The two red head said with a smile but guilt written all over their face.

"Care to tell me what are you two doing here when I clearly said that you only have 10 minutes break before we resume with our training." Falael scolded.

Falael tried to peek at the window as well as his curiosity get the better of him however the two red head manage to drag him back while patronizing him to avoid being caught. Without much resistance Falael agreed to resume the training.

He is a simple man who love his sword and training, so the moment the two red heads show interest at the training he can't help but switch to his teacher mode and teach the two rising star in his eyes.
