A hidden Root Base!

Inside a laboratory, Danzō sat on a chair and caressed his eye with a barely noticeable smirk! He had already transplanted the Mangyekou Sharingan successfully! With this, he could have more confidence in anything he does!

Danzō, knew that he's action has caused a lot of problems for Konoh, but he doesn't care! Once his plan succeeds, the new Konoha would rule the whole Ninja World!!

Therfore a few sacrifices were nothing!

Another problem he encountered was the Mangyekou! He didn't manage to get the main eye and Shishui's body has not been found due to limited time constraints! It was this morning he got the eye after-all!

The main Mangyekou which housed the Kotoamatsukami could instantly change everything about a person! However the second Mangyekou could only slowly change a person after repeated use depending on the targets willpower!

This was a true loss, but he doesn't mind, soon the last eye will be his! His first use of that major eye was already planned out! Sarutobi Hiruzen! As for the second one…..Uzumaki Naruto!!

As a Jinchuuriki, and a weapon of mass destruction, it will only be fitting for him to be under his command! With him under his control, it won't be impossible to turn the boy to a Perfect Jinchuuriki! By then, nothing could stop his rise in the Shinobi World!

"Heh! Danzo-sama seems to be in a good mood!" A mocking laughter surfaced as Orochimaru seated far away from Danzō sneered! He already knew why, this old man Danzō was happy!

"How cruel is life? A magnificent weapon in the hands of the wrong person!" Orochimaru did not even give Danzo the time to answer before he said dramatically as he waved his hands dismissively!

Danzo's happiness, immediately vanished as his face turned dark! What do you mean? Am I not worthy of the Mangyekou?

"Watch your words Orochimaru!!" Dazno threatened as he released his killing intent! However he's killing intent did not faze Orochimaru in the slightest, only prompting him to lick his lips seductively.

Danzo shivered inexplicably, with his butthole tightening! WTF was that what he thought it was?

Danzo was shocked, scared and horrified then flew into rage!

"Fuck you Orochimaru! You dare look at me like that!!" Danzo yelled as he abruptly stood up from his chair and rolled his sleeved bandages, as if ready to fight it out with Orochimaru!

Orochimaru was momentarily bewildered. What did he do? Is this old man on his special period or something?

Seeing Orochimaru's beweildered gaze, Danzo grew more furious! He knew that this snake was pretending not to know anything!

"Get out!!" Danzo screamed as he untied his bandaged hand!

"Hai…Hai..Hai…I get it! Your shy! I respect it! I already know about your period so I won't say anything… It's not that I'm interested in old men anyway...." Orochimaru said reluctantly in defeat before walking out calmly.

The other Root members in the laboratory looked at Danzō strangely. Who would have thought that their revered master had this kink! Or was he even a man? Maybe he had a woman body and a man's face!

Seeing the strange looks directed towards him, Danzo was so angry, emabarrased and furious that…

"Aaaaargh!!!" He screamed and spat out a mouthful of blood before fainting! Drawing the attention and concern from the Root members. Medical Ninja's were quickly called to check up on him!

Orochimaru who saw this scene couldn't help but laugh heartily after a long while! It has truly been long, he had a sincere laugh! With his extensive mind, Orochimaru could piece up what happened!

He released a hint of lust after he thought about Hyuga Akihiko, but was coincidentally looking at Danzo by then. Causing the current misunderstanding! Coupled with the strange looks he got from his subordinates, Danzō with his weak heart couldn't bear it. Anyway it might just be the strain of foreign forces in his body taking a toll on his body after his intense anger!

Anyway, he didn't care about this old man! Soon enough, he wil meet his demise so he didn't want to bother with him. He would fleece him as much as he could before he died! That illusory Mangyekou that Danzo was pursueing could never reach him!

Orochimaru believed that with that Hyuga boy's demeanor, it could be easily guessed that he had the other pair of Sharingan! And he was just waiting for his time to strike and take the other pair!

In an unprecendented good mood, Orochimaru strolled Konoha in the dark night, whistling a tone. After a while Kabuto caught up and silently walked behind him like a good servant! Even though he was surprised to see that Orochimaru was genuinely happy, he didn't want to voice out his thoughts and disrupt the atmosphere!

For scientist like them, joy was a very rare thing as it only came occasionally or when there was a success in a certain reseach subject.

Therefore scientists tend to cherish their short gained joy and happiness! As a scientist himself, he also knew this, therefore he didn't bother Orochimaru!

Looking into the distance, Orochimaru licked his lips before saying slowly:" Its starting….."

Hyuga Akihiko sat on the hair of Senju Tobirama!

Of course it was the statue, not the real thing. Overlooking the whole Konoha and enjoying the cool breeze that blew his hair.

Akihiko let out a sigh of satisfaction! Since he had no emotions, Akihiko enjoyed tranquillity, peace and a carefree life. This was why he made his shadow clones do all the work while he slacked off somewhere….

By now, he had figured out what happened because of he's minor interference and a lot of coincidences! Shishui was not able to write his letter, Fugaku was impeached and the Uchiha's attack on Konoha!

It will be a lie, if Akihiko said that he was not amazed! To think that things could divert so much from the original just because of a simple act of Shishui! Very amazing! Well, it was indirectly his fault, that Danzo took 50 Jonin to confront Shishui!

Siting upright, Akihiko activated the Byakugan and looked into the distant Uchiha Manor.

3 consecutive explosions set off in 3 directions before screams blossomed in the night of the Uchiha Massacre! Akihiko was secretely amazed, well he was not amazed since he didn't have emotions but it will not hurt to form emotions for himself!

"The Uchiha are really crazy!" Muttering to himself, Akihiko deactivated his Byakugan before chuckling softly. The Uchiha actually went to kill the innocents first! Very domineering!

"Attack!!" A flurry of paper bombs and shuriken were hurled towards buildings and civilians as Uchiha began their massacre!

"Aaarrgh…save me!" A desperate soul shouted only to be struck by a stray kunai in the head! Losing all life! The civilians could have never thought that the strongest village will be attacked silently in the night!

The captain of the ANBU and Root mobilized their forces and clashed with the mad Uchiha's! However, every time an Uchiha died,over 10 others will die with him in a cacophony of explosions!

Medical Ninja's were mobilized to the hospital as they took care of the injured that were rescued! A middleaged man who also suffered from severe injuries was carried into the shelter that already housed over 300 injured people and some medical Ninja's!

[Boom! Boom! Boom!]

A violent explosion kicked off, as flames submerged the whole shelter in destruction! A suicide bomber!

Due to the fact that no one knew if those ordinary people are Uchiha or not, this indiscriminate assassination was very common in every place!

After just 15 minutes, Half of Konoha had already been covered with flames of destruction. It was around this time that the reinforcement of 20 thousand Ninja's arrived from the Konoha Corrupt Quartet!

Seeing the massive destruction caused by the Uchiha, every one's expression turned dark with apprehention and anger! However before anyone could voice out anything…

Continuous violent explosive detonated as screams intensified in the night. The Uchiha had already prepared an ambush for the reinforcements. Though they were made hastily, it still fulfilled its purpose.

Blood flowed like a river, and fire raged on like an apocalypse as the Uchiha detonated countless paper bombs wantonly with no regard!

Hyuga Akihiko now stood on the Second Hokage's Hair with his hand behind him. Adopting a solemn posture! It was now that he was going to act!

Directly under him, 300 Hyuga Akihiko's also appeared! Each adopting different positions! Some lay down and yawned as if sleepy, some stood on two hands, some smiled evilly as they covered their eyes and nose and left their lower face visible..., some rubbed their hands dubiously and some watched with curiousity….

Regardless, each one had the iconic brown mask of the Root on their faces. Akihiko wouldn't want to be recognized due to the nature of what he was going to do!

"Disperse!" Akihiko whispered softly before a serene breeze blew on the desolate Hokage rock! No one would have guessed that people where standing on the Hokage Rock and similarly vanished. In fact, falling from the height of the Hokage Rock would mean death even for some Jonin! Therefore this scene was incredibly peculiar. Sadly no one was there to witness it firsthand!

As battles, screams and massacre intensified, the reinforcements managed to pass through the ambush with a thousand dead! However they still had 19000 left, so they didn't panic!

Naturally, these 19000 didn't just gather at one point...they were scattered around the points of attack! While some charged towards the Uchiha Clan!!

In their front stood a group of Uchiha's numbering up to 200, standing menacingly and looking provocatively at them. Kunai or Shuriken in hand, the Uchiha's were ready for blood!

The attackers where confident of their victory! With a staggering 5 thousand Shinobi, these measly 200 will not even be enough as a warm up!

"Attack! Kill those Uchiha Vermin!" A Jonin of the Sarutobi clan rushed forward as he raised his katana and issued a charge!

"Kill!!"

"Die!!"

The opposition quickly swarmed towards the visible Uchiha's who still stood without moving! When they were close they noticed the smiles on the faces of the Uchiha's and began too feel doubt..

'Have they accepted their fates?!' Some couldn't help but question this bizarre scene.

"No…somethings wrong. Get back!!!!" A Jonin hurriedly called back, however he was too late!

[Boom!]

The whole district was engulfed in a massive explosion! Easily claiming over three thousand lives with countless injuries.

This was yet another scene of suicide! 4 Uchiha Chunin and 2 Jonin made this plan and sacrificed themselves in this operation. With the Shadow clones the other Uchiha's prepared, they amassed over 200 'fake' Uchiha's while they stood in the for-front and wantonly released their chakra!

Don't be fooled by the oppositions intimidating number! Most of them were cannon fodder and weak Genin who had no more future!

Unlike the Uchiha and Hyuga clan who valued the purity of their bloodline and didn't marry outside of their clan, the other clans were totally different!!

They married everything marriable. Since they couldn't compare with the Uchiha in quality then quantity can make up for it right??

Therefore, these other clans where very vast and plentiful. In this war, it was more like dumping useless weight for the 4 Giants of Konoha.

Anyway,the coalition forces really hit a hard plate! As in the midst of war, who would bother or have the time to check if an army was real? Besides Sensory Ninja's were very rare! Futhermore, the Hyuga and Aburame did not participate in this war!

Wanton Fire release ninjutsu were thrown like cabbages in this war, setting off chain reactions as they set ablaze other Paper bombs hidden in various places!

Hiruzen could not sit still anymore! The destruction of the village was unprecedented and he had to step up!

Vanishing from the Hokage Building, Hiruzen summoned his staff and got ready to intervene when…

A sharp wind passed by, nearly slicing Hiruzens head off! If he had not reacted in time, he could have died a miserable death! Solemnly turning toward the direction of the Ninjutsu, Sarutobi Hiruzen scrutinized the figure opposite him!

"Yo! Hokage-dono, I heard that your bounty is as high as 200 million Ryo so I can't help but be interested!" Kakazu slowly approached and said slowly. "I wonder how it feels to kill the Kage of a Great Village?!"

Hidan swung his weapon as he walked side by side with Kakazu!

"Takigakure missing-nin Kakazu, I didn't expect you to have the guts to attack this old man…" Hiruzen was on full alert as his heart sank! To think that an S-class missing-nin chose to attack him at this moment!

The Uchiha must have bought them to restrain him while they wrecked havoc in the village!

An S-class missing nin, means that the Rogue Ninja has Kage level strength!

Therefore, even if he could defeat this missing-nin, it will take time and by then….. Besides judging from the situatio, it's highly likely that his companion is of equal strength with him!

"Well, money is the root of all evil, what do you think?" Kakuzu asked lazily! He's job was to restrain all Kage-level Ninja's that might battle the Uchiha. And if he feels like it, he could eliminate some Sarutobi and Shimura scum!

Hiruzen quickly said." I'd give you 500 million if you leave this instant!" Hiruzen felt that this amount of money was already twice the amount of his bounty therefore these Rogue are bound to leave! However he still miscalculated!

How would Uchiha Setsuna make such a foolish mistake? He knew that he had to pay a price his enemy could not pay! And he really did, he payed money, payed his pride, payed his and he's clans blood! And his enemies clan will definitely not be able to pay such a price!

"Heh, you really think highly of yourself! Don't worry, today I will take your head as a keepsake and take your heart as a greeting gift!" Kakazu sneered and immediately attacked without hesitation!

Even if, this old fox is willing to pay more than a billion, he won't budge! He knew that its impossible for the Hokage to get over a billion in just one night! And after this night, maybe, this willy old man might gather Shinobi to hunt them down instead of giving anything!

Apart from this, he has his own bottom line, that cannot be breached no matter the money! He will make sure to fulfill his task and not betray it! This is his own Ninja-way!

For a Ninja like him who has suffered from betrayal, he can never do to others what was done to him and still wish for a better world through the Infinite Tsukuyomi! Won't he become a despicable hypocrite by then?

"Hahaha old man, let me introduce you to the almighty Jashin-sama!" Hidan smiled cruelly before taking the lead!

Hiruzen didn't think much on these two Ninja's since they appeared in different clothing!

Pain specifically instructed them not to reveal their Akatsuki origin as they battle out! They still needed time for preparation, thereby prudence must be followed!!

It seems that Hiruzen's fate had already been decided….

Only the Protagonist and his group could face the Zombie Duo without going to the Pure Land!

Can Sarutobi Hiruzen escape.....
