Alexander's face did not look too good after he heard that. His grip on Cindy's hand tightened, and she could feel the anger that was radiating just based off of his hold. She suddenly felt the urge to placate him. She held onto his hand and pulled him towards her. Alexander had been so preoccupied by his thoughts that he did not know what Cindy was thinking.
With his thoughts elsewhere, he stumbled when Cindy pulled him towards her. Before he knew it, he was already in her arms. Alexander's eyes opened in shock; he could not believe that Cindy would take the initiative to do such a thing!
