Alexander chuckled softly, the sound low and rich in his chest. He lifted his hand, gently cupping Cindy's face, his thumb brushing over her cheek. "I didn't know my wife was such a money grabber," he teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Cindy laughed and leaned into his shoulder, her giggles vibrating against his skin. Each soft, melodic laugh sent a pleasant shiver down his spine, making his skin tingle with anticipation. She laughed again, her voice light and joyful. "Oh, stop it! I was just asking."
Alexander's grin widened, and he replied, "There's no need to ask, love. Everything I own is naturally yours. If anything were to happen to me, you'd receive everything I have."
Cindy rolled her eyes playfully. "Stop joking," she said, giving him a light shove on the chest.
