Alexander chuckled softly at Cindy's words, his breath warm against her skin. "I'm glad I passed the test," he teased, brushing a gentle kiss against her shoulder before rising from the tub. The water dripped from his toned frame, and without missing a beat, he scooped Cindy into his arms, lifting her effortlessly. She giggled, her laughter light and airy, as Alexander carried her out of the bathroom with careful, deliberate steps.
"You don't have to carry me every time," Cindy protested, but her smile betrayed her true feelings.
"It's my privilege," Alexander said with a smirk, setting her gently on the edge of the bed. He grabbed a fluffy towel and started drying her hair with tender care. Cindy watched him, the warmth of his touch matching the warmth in her heart. His fingers worked through her damp strands with such softness that Cindy felt herself melting all over again.
