My Second Life in Another World

As night descends, a man sits alone, lost in thoughts of grief on his birthday, mourning the loss of his parents. Seeking solace, he turns to alcohol, hoping to numb the pain. But when he wakes the next day, he finds himself in a strange new world, gifted with powers he unknowingly acquired in his intoxicated state. Rather than succumbing to despair, he chooses to face the unknown with resilience and determination. Exploring this unfamiliar realm, he uncovers hidden truths about himself, unlocking a wellspring of abilities he never knew existed. Driven by an unwavering desire to be reunited with his parents, he embarks on a quest to understand his newfound powers and the world that now surrounds him. Throughout his journey, he forms alliances, overcomes adversaries, and lends a helping hand to those in need. If there are also those who pose a threat to his loved ones. He confronts these challenges head-on, employing diverse strategies beyond mere violence. From Solo Leveling to The Beginning After The End to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, follow this man's story as he tries to make sense of his new reality and find his way back to his loved ones. …. Before you begin reading the story, I'd like to share a few important points. The main character (MC) is a good-natured and cheerful person, so don't expect him to become excessively violent or aggressive from the start. However, he won't let others walk all over him and will deal with anyone he sees as a potential threat. How he handles these situations won't always involve violence, but you'll understand more about this as you progress into the second part of the story. The first part is meant to be uplifting and doesn't involve much danger because the MC is already powerful. Its purpose is mainly to introduce the MC's personality and the female characters who will develop romantic feelings for him. I did my best with my writing skills at the time, so I apologize if it's not as good as you'd like. Your feedback and thoughts are welcome, as I value your input. While this story can be enjoyed as a lighthearted harem fanfic commonly found in web novels, if you take the time to explore the sentences and scenarios, you'll find deeper meaning beneath the surface. Ultimately, it's up to you as the reader to interpret and decide whether it's a typical fanfic with an overpowered MC and a harem or something more meaningful when read with greater thought and investment. I've learned this through my writing experiences. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts after reading. I deeply appreciate all of my readers, and I am truly grateful to those who enjoy reading this story. Your support means a lot to me. At the same time, I want to apologize to those who didn't find it appealing or satisfying. Anyway thanks for taking the time to engage with my work, and I will try to improve and deliver content that you may like one day. That is all, Thank you for reading. Note: This story is a fan fiction and I do not own any of the characters. Innocence?

Looking at Haru and Myung-oh Dok-ja was reminded of something.

'Myung-oh-ssi never really liked Haru-ssi they've had a few altercations during work, I think it is because of jealousy, it isn't a secret that Myung-oh-ssi was only able to get the job in the company because of his family connections, Haru-ssi, on the other hand, worked hard and produced results to get his position in three years, But I think Myung-oh is saltier because of how Popular Haru-ssi was will the female workers,' Dok-ja thought but now wasn't time to be thinking about this.

"Oh, Shut up, your voice is annoying the hell out of me," Nam-woon shouted with a grimace on his face.

"Y-You Brat, didn't anyone teach you anything?" Myung-oh was appalled by how he was treated by a kid.

"Where was all of this bravado during the scenario earlier? All I could hear from you were scared squeals," Nam-woon grinned.

"A-At least that is better than you," Myung-oh snapped back and Nam-woon frowned but before he could go off.

"You are a grown man Myung-oh don't throw a fit," Haru sighed because Myung-oh just made the situation a lot more complicated.

"H-how can you say th-" Myung-oh who was in the middle of his complaining was cut off by Queresha.

"Myung-oh-ssi,"

"Y-Yes," Myung-oh tensed up, like Haru who was easy going Queresha was known to be harsh and didn't mince her words.

"I'll try to say in words even you can understand, Please Can it," Queresha said disrespectful words very respectfully and moved back leaving a stunned Myung-oh.

'That is what you'd expect from the 'Poison-Tongued Beauty of Mino-soft',' Dok-ja refreshed his mental notes to not mess with her, aside from being dubbed as 'Shadow' Queresha had another nickname 'Poison-Tongued Beauty' and as you would expect from that name she was known to be very direct with her words. But this somehow only increased her popularity which was still a mystery to Dok-ja himself.

"Hey, Don't you think you are forgetting something?" Haru walked in front of Nam-woon and asked.

"I don't think so, I have my knife and bag here," Nam-woon said innocently.

"Don't make me say it again," Haru said with a smile.

"Why should I apologize for something that was natu-OW! Why are you hitting me?" Nam-woon shouted as Haru hit his head.

"I won't apologiz-OW"

"I-I'll Have you know I have a strong Constellation backing me u-OWWW,"

"Why do your punches hit harder than befo-OWWWWWWWW,"

"W-Why am I getting my ass beat so bad even after getting an awesome Constellation?" Nam-woon was squatting in the corner holding his head after he reluctantly apologized to Sung Min-Hye who was the old lady he tried to kill before.

The same old lady was trying to take care of Nam-woon now seeing him crying in the corner, She was still scared of the kid but seeing him get hit that way vaporized most of her fear.

'As a matter of fact, after Myung-oh's words, everyone became even warier of Nam-woon which was normal given what he had done, But Haru-ssi beating him up gave them a sense of security and affirmed that Nam-woon isn't a mad dog since he has a leash, this is also how Jung-hyuk subdued Nam-woon at the start of TWSA, If it was someone else I would've been wary of them given how tactical the move was but…' Dok-ja looked at Haru who was flaring his nostrils with hot air blowing out of them, Dok-ja could only shake his head.

[The constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is amused by your way of handling the matter]

[The constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is angered by your actions]

Haru ignored the notifications for now since he was thinking about what do to next.

"So….What do we do now?" Hyun-sung asked, he was really lost right now since he wasn't able to contact his unit.

"Can I suggest something?" Dok-ja asked everyone he might not need to do this if he was alone with these people but right now Haru had a good impression on everyone here.

"If Dok-ja-ssi has something go ahead, I seriously do not know what to do now," Haru said with a sigh as the others nodded no one had any idea about the current situation, rather it would be weird for them to know what will happen next.

'It looks like the ball is on your side,' Queresha thought while looking at Haru, she kind of understood what the latter was planning and decided to play along.

"But before that, I want to say that everyone needs to wake up and not deny the situation, like the Dokkaebi said this isn't a joke," Dok-ja said while facing everyone. The others understood what Dok-ja meant, they have seen people die in front of their eyes and if things went a little differently they would most likely be lying down on the floor with their heads split open.

"I think you should've all roughly noticed the situation, exclusive skills in the attribute window. A game-like interface, Is there anyone who hasn't caught up?" Dok-ja asked but no one raised their hands which surprised him since he thought the old lady might not have understood.

"I can follow it since I used to play some games with my Grandson," the old lady said getting a nod from Dok-ja since it looked like he didn't need to waste more time.

"I have once read a novel like this while being on duty, but I still don't feel this is real," Hyun-sung said.

"This is the reality we can't deny that," Dok-ja's words hit everyone hard as Hyun-sung nodded.

[The Character 'Lee Hyun-sung' feels a faint trust in you]

[Your understanding of the character 'Lee Hyun-sung' has increased]

'Ok, looks like I am doing ok,' Dok-ja thought.

"Can you get to the point Ahjussi? I might fall asleep here if you don't say it fast," Nam-woon said with a bored look.

'This brat,' Dok-ja wasn't affected by Nam-woon and spoke his next words.

"We need to get out of here,"

"W-What?"

"G-Go Outside, Are you insane?" Myung-oh cried in shock.

"See? It wasn't that hard getting to the point, you should've said it earlier to save our time," Nam-woon slung his bag over his shoulder ready to leave at this very moment.

"B-But…" Even Sang-ah wasn't sure about this and was looking at Haru hoping he would reject it.

"Let's listen to the reason first shall we," Haru said calming the others down.

'Nice Assist Haru-ssi,' Dok-ja was happy at the unexpected help. His argument of leaving surely didn't make any sense since the outside was more dangerous with monster roaming about but it was necessary for them to leave. As the people calmed down a little Dok-ja followed through.

"How long are we going to stay here? Have you thought about your parents? Do you think your families are safe in such a mess?" Dok-ja asked and everyone's faces changed aside from a few people.

"T-The line has been dead for a while, No kakaotalk….." Sang-ah said with a distressed look on her face. With Hyun-sung and Myung-oh's faces darkening as well.

'Indeed Confucianism is strong in South Korea.' Dok-ja thought while holding Gil-young who hugged him tightly.

The Granny also looked worried with Nam-woon picking his nose. This guy seriously needed to learn how to read the room.

"But moving now will be dangerous," Hyun-sung said remembering that the Dokkaebi told them to stay here.

"D-Do whatever you want, I am not leaving this place," Myung-oh shouted making Dok-ja a little impatient, but Myung-oh didn't matter all he needed was Hyun-sung and Haru to agree.

"Shouldn't worrying about your parents be your top priority given the current situation Myung-oh-ssi?" Queresha asked with a flat look.

'Oh, That one's gotta sting,' Dok-ja hissed in his mind while Sang-ah smiled wryly. The others surely didn't understand what was just said but as people who have worked in the same company, Sang-ah and Dok-ja understood what that meant.

"W-What do mean by that?" Myung-oh roared in anger.

"Isn't that simple? Why are you overreacting?" Haru asked while tilting his head.

'Haru-ssi is too pure,' Dok-ja and Sang-ah thought.

'What is going on? And why are you looking at me like that you two?' Haru's eyes twitched as he didn't understand the gazes of Sang-ah and Dok-ja along with what the constellations were on about. But It wasn't time for worrying about that.
