Chapter 53 "A night at the graveyards "

A long session of Tessa and thier father in effort to have hee forgive him but to thier dismay the girl was so determined and stubborn, their hope was standing on a thin line.

" Milly please... everybody deserves a second chance , come on" said Tessa squeezing her shoulders.

"I refuse! there is no such thing as a second chance for him and for your information I..... hate ... you! period!!" she puffed her chest saying this at her father's face. Sarah almost laughed but was quick to use her palm to cover her mouth, she was sitting along with the family, 'Milly is overly dramatic!" she thought.

Tessa held her forehead with her palm and shook it , just how could she forget this stubborn sister if hers, she let out a tired sigh , getting Milly's forgiveness to thier father is a mission impossible it seems.

The Oldman was speechless how could this little girl resemble him so much, stubborn as him! gosh!!! and thier I'd only way to win his favor in bussiness, that is by giving him what he wanted. And now it was his turn to bargain with his younger self! he smiled at the thought.

"Milly dear... what do you want me to do so I could gain your forgiveness , say anything dear I just need you to forgive me" he bitten the inner of his mouth after saying this waiting for her response which he is already aware that it won't be anything easy.

Milky turned to face her father looking straight into his eyes, at this rate Tessa could only hope for a simple torture for thier father because Milly looked so freaky serious today! she almost ask herself who is this little girl.

"You want my forgiveness right?" she saw him nod to her question so continued "Perfect! you will go and spend the night at mother's grave repenting and I will video call you to witness it" she said and grinned at the end like a villain that she already was.

Tessa and Sarah were speechless their jaws dropped. "What?" the two asked in unison, "Okay Milly you need to stop.... this is too much now, I mean how could one spend a night at the graveyards? stop being so stupid " Tessa was fed up of her nonsense, this was off limits, the graveyards? that's too at night? Hell no!! .

Surprisingly thier father laughed, he was prepared for the worst but this came off guard, this daughter of his got him good this time . But he won't give up either. "I will do it" he said . "Daddy no! Milly stop this nonsense at once!" she scolded her, but she seemed unaffected by her. Wow! when did she become a vagabond? she thought.

"I'll do it Tessa calm down, I will do anything to get her to forgive me, infact I'm going now " he got up leaving the house heading to his mission. Tessa escorted him out after glaring at her little sister. Milky took Tessa's phone and ran upstairs locking the door behind her furiously, 'Bang!!'

Tessa walked back in with anger "Where is she Sarah?" she asked, "Upstairs, I'm speechless " said Sarah sighing, "That word is understatement " she said going upstairs only to find the door locked, "Milly! Milly open up the door now!" she yelled "Leave me alone! I hate you!" she heard her yelling back with sobs .

Her heart broke at her sharp words, she never thought that there would actually come a day when Milly would hate her. She went downstairs and sat beside Srah, "She is in so much pain Sarah" Stah pulled her in for a bear hug. "Shhh... don't worry girlfriend.. she'll come around I swear" .

Meanwhile at Mr.Michael's car "Sir... you are not really going to the graveyards right now are you?" asked his personal PA. "Ofcourse I am .... prepare for it " he said firmly. The PA sighed inwardly, just what has gotten into his boss's head today? Is this how one become when they have daughters? Hell no! I want ten sons! he thought .

"By the way sir, Madame have been calling continuously since morning, seems like she already got the news , the paparazzi succeeded in capturing the scene at JJB'Corporation and post them on social medias " he reported. Mr.Michael fished out his phone from his coat and switched it on, it was off since morning to avoid the rains of phone calls today. He was aware that such thing would happen, actually it is the price of being rich and famous.

The screen light up and he was welcomed by 22 missed calls from his dear wife Maurice, he sighed "Leave it... I'll talk to her once I get home tomorrow " , Okay now the PA's last hope has been shattered, he thought his boss would change his mind after hearing about his wife but to no avail at all . "Yes sir" he let out a silence sigh, he never even dreamed of sleeping at the graveyards before but tonight thanks to the young lady he will! his boss must be totally witted. He cried in his mind.

Mr.Michael knew his wife very well, and right now his priority is Milly, he would somehow explain it to her tomorrow.

They arrived at the graveyards and settled at his late wife's grave, he loosened his tie and opened his phone dialling Tessa, Milly was the one to pick up the video call with a smirk. "I'm already here dear" he uttered giving the phone to one of his bodyguards to hold it for him. "I can see that I'm not blind!" she retorted. Mr.Michael smiled and started to pay his respect at the grave with Milly as a witness just like how she requested, ordered! is the right word.

The show continued for about hours until midnight, she could see the fog that spread at the graveyards, that's when she started to feel guilty of what she did 'It must be cold out there's she thought and sighed. "Stop it! I forgive you.....dad" she said and exhaled as tears fell down her cheeks , Mr.Michael was so happy that his time and effort didn't go in vain. " Thank you so much honey.... I love you " he said smiling genuinely, " Yeah! yeah whatever " she hang up the phone.

After receiving the good news the PA chuckled inside , 'He surely got a daughter! and I absolutely don't need one' He shook his head.

Instead of going to his mansion he went to sleep at the five star hotel, he would settle the matter with his daughters first before he goes and settle down with his wife. Who would probably be boiling right now for all the news she must have received today.
