My Saviour from Hell : Are we meant to be together

Just like an arrow released from its string rain poured heavily into the dark with thunderstorms,lightning all over .Tessa stood by the door of operating room where an operation was ongoing, she froze there hopeless for about countless hours shortly afterwards the lights on the door was turned off .... the door was pulled a doctor with unsatisfying and tired look came out , Tessa felt some energy on her legs she ran towards him "Doc how is my mother doing? the operation was it..... was it successful?". He didn't utter a word making her run out of patience "Why aren't you saying anything doc? you are scaring me! ...." he held her shoulder like a caring father.... "Miss Tessa we are truly sorry to inform you that your mother is dead ... we've tried our best but she was too weak and couldn't hold it any longer" .

The words were like a thorn piercing her heart "No it can't be! ..... She can't die yet .... she can't leave us too!" she shook her head in denial "Let's go back and redo it I am sure she is just asleep "..... pulling the doctor but he resisted her "Miss please! you have to understand that there is nothing we can do now ... I am truly sorry " he walked away leaving her falling down to the floor in disbelief....

She stood up when she saw her mother's body was going to be moved to mortuary she ran along with the nurses ,they kept her in before they went away. Her hands were shaking as she lifted up the sheets to see her face "Oh mother what will happen to Milly and I now? I was going to build you a luxurious house so you could live like a queen someday.... you should've wait for that" she busted to tears. Something flashed into her head *ding* "Oh my God! Milly! " she left her back at home and rushed to the hospital once she received a call, she placed back the sheets and kiss her forehead before stepping out ....

Her next stop was at the reception desk she signed some papers then told them she will be back tomorrow to get the corpse for burial. Tessa ran outside the hospital when she was finally out she turned her head back to the door as if she was saying goodbye to her mother, she was about to turn ahead a gear was pulled very hard sending shivers to her nerves the next thing she saw was a car an inch away from her. Her brain couldn't process anymore her eyeballs became bigger and her legs froze right at the spot , a man stepped out of the car with a frown settled on his face coming towards her.... just like a statue she couldn't move "Miss are you Okay? you have to be careful on the road unless you have a death wish "

'Geez he is rude' she thought.... lifting her head to look at the man , she was lost in her own thoughts, pain towering her heart, tears were rolling down but the rain blended them in.

..... she was brought back by a firm voice "Miss can you hear me! "

The man couldn't care anymore although he could see how lost she was, he took out a business card and handed it to her hand before he rushed inside the hospital.

Tessa looked down at the card written 'JJB'Corporation' she didn't give it a meaning but she kept it in her bag. She headed to the bus station to go home, she pulled out a phone and dialled 'Mine' *ring ring* she picked up "Hello Tessa! thank God you called me I was trying to reach you all day girlfriend .... how is auntie anyway?".....

She wiped her eyes "Sarah mother is dead... she is gone" she cried out loud not caring about the people who were staring at her in the bus "Oh Tessa I am truly sorry.... i am sorry that I am not even in town with you .... I'll be back tomorrow Okay" the two sobbed in unison "Sarah can I ask you a favour..... can you please bring the burial people with you at the hospital.... I can't think of any " she shook her head... ... "Okay! leave it to me I will be there before you wake up... stay strong girlfriend".

Tessa smiled painfully "Okay girlfriend " she hang up and stepped out of the bus, on her way home she decided not to tell her little sister about it until tomorrow at hospital. She halted by the door switched her sad face to a big smile as she entered, she was relieved to find her asleep on a couch at the sitting room.... "Thank God " she didn't want to wake her up so she carefully carried her upstairs to their bedroom and lay her down ..... she covered her with a blanket planted a kiss on her cheek. Tessa went to wash up, her clothes were soaked by the rain, she changed into pyjamas and laid beside her sister tears rolling down her eyes.

Back to the hospital the man ran to the reception desk "Looking for Joel Brighton " the receptionist stood up faster "This way sir please " she led him to the VIP suites "This one sir" he nodded before he entered, he was welcomed by a woman in her forties "Young master!..... welcome sir" she bowed to him . His eyes went straight to the bed where a little boy laid unconscious "How is he doing? ... " he asked in serious tone, the lady sat down "He is fine sir! he fell unconscious while he was fighting with Young master Troy .... I received a call shortly from hospital"

A frown settled on his face "Again really! what is wrong with that boy anyway? .."

Suddenly the door was pushed a doctor who is also a director of Spark hospital entered "Mr Brighton rest assured " they shaked hands "Can I have a word with you sir at my office " ... they went together and settled down "Sir ... young master is totally fine.... today's accident didn't trigger his illness at all..... even so we have to be careful in the future he should stay away from fights" he stopped after what seemed an explanation from a student who didn't do her homework to her teacher ... "Okay doctor I understand " he headed back to his brother, luckily he found him conscious "Hello hero! are you back to life after a big battle underworld? ... " he said teasingly Joel frowned "If only I didn't fell unconscious making myself look stupid..... we would be sharing opposite rooms with that rat" .

Mr. Brighton chuckled "Okay okay I get it hero but ...." in serious tone which sent shivers to him "What!." he caressed his hand "No more fights or you'll have an in-house tutor" Joel wasn't surprised "Okay Jordan, but I won't let him bully my friends" he pulled out a little looking down at Joel "Listen hero... there are some battles that you just have to use your mouth to win instead of your fists" he hugged him back "I understand" Joel closed his eyes letting out a sigh.

"I'll be back Tomorrow Joel you better have a rest now" he kissed his forehead "Okay Jordan goodnight" he waved at him as he went towards the woman who sat there quietly this whole time as if she was watching a favourite T.v show "Take care of him nanny" she bowed "Yes sir" ... he stepped out the hospital while he sit down in his fancy car he dialled *ring ring* "Yes sir !" ... "Pharrell I want you te send guards to Joel right now! " ... he hanged up before the other man could answer, when he looked forward as he wanted to start his car.... something flashed into his head *ding* "Ah! that careless lady, I hope she is fine.... I gave her my card anyway she'll call if she isn't" he started the engine and set off....
