Chapter 16: Falling for you

Mia's pov

It's been a whole week after the accident of mine, everything was going fine now. even Daniel was gonna discharge from the hospital after few days. and mine and Zack's relationship was fine, and we even grew closer in these past few days because what had happened to me.

Zack cared for me which made me happy for the first time after many years I was really happy. Daniel was always there by my side but I didn't always wanted him to get involved in my problems. and I used to hide it from him but when the problems where really troublesome I used to take help from Daniel and he helped me in all the ways he could.

But Zack was different even If I didn't tell him my problems he always used knew it somehow and helped me. I didn't like getting in trouble but my clumsiness always used to get me in the trouble somehow the other. ever since I became a part of Zack's life the emptiness which was in my life felt like complete with him, I was happy when I was around him.

I was thinking all this while laying on the bed, am I starting to fall for Zack. no... I can't fall for Zack we are just friends right, who are just friends when I heard Zack's voice I jumped from my bed and fell to the ground hard on my butt. ouch.. that hurts I screamed and Zack smiled, can't u just act like a human for once rather then acting like a monkey all the time Zack said. excuse me, I am human for u kind information I don't act like a monkey I said it while making a childish face.

Zack just couldn't stop himself from smiling at me. I got up and fell again and I screamed my ankle hurts, Zack came to me and said what happened my ankle hurts badly. I replied I think you have twisted your ankle while jumping like a monkey. then he carried me in his arms and sat me down on the bed and called the doctor. after a few while doctor tested me and said something to Zack and went.

So..., I looked at Zack and said actually I had some plans. Zack raised his one eyebrow and said what plans and if they are going out don't even think of it. but why? cause just now I saw your circus and I don't know what are u gonna do if I let you go out when your got hurt like this. but, before I could say anything. Zack said I said no means no Mia, I didn't argue after that and just slept in my bed.

After 2 hours

I finally got up and saw the room and Zack was no where to be found. I went downstairs and saw the bulter Alexander. Alexander was the head of the butlers he and his ancestors have served this family for many centuries so he basically knew everything about this house. I asked him about Zack, Alexander said that he went out for some business meeting.

Then I thought something and asked what do Zack like to eat he was surprised to hear the question. but then quickly answered it and said he like French cuisine a lot, okay and Alexander said some other cuisine and drinks. after saying that Alexander asked me why I was asking so, I said I thought to cook today. he was little surprised but then he said nothing. I went to the kitchen and said to all the head chef's that I was gonna cook today everyone was surprised but then everyone agreed and were ready to help me but I requested them that I wanted to do all the work alone by myself.

So everyone left the kitchen and then I started working in few hours the dinner was finally ready. the head chef tasted my food, I looked at him to say something. the head chef saw me and smiled and I was over the joy, it's delicious my lady he said in his French accent. thanks head chef for giving me a opportunity to cook for Zack I just wanna see that if he likes it or not. I went out and sat in the sofa, it was 8 at night grandpa came down with may and saw me sitting on the sofa and walked and sat near me. in this few days I bonded to grandpa too. he was nice but he was strict.

I heard that you cooked for Zack, grandpa asked me. yes, grandpa I thought to surprise him by cooking for him. we all decide to wait for Zack to have the dinner together we waited For hours but zack didn't show up. so, I requested grandpa and May to have the dinner, but grandpa didn't listen to me then I requested again and again to grandpa that it would affect his health and even may told grandpa to have his dinner after a while grandpa agreed and along with may he had his dinner.

I even told may to have her dinner. but, she didn't argue with me cause she understood the circumstances and went with grandpa. after a while I went to our room means Zack's and mine and sat down on the bed and started to wait for Zack. I called Zack for like 10 times but he didn't reply I was worried about him. I think he must be busy in some meeting and tried sleeping but I couldn't it was something like 2am in the moring but still Zack wasn't at home it was first time ever since like this happened after I moved in this house.

I tried to sleep but I couldn't I rolled on the bed and after some while I finally slept. it was something like 3 am in the moring, and I heard the sound of door opening and as some came in I got up Zack, I saw him at the door. he walked towards me and sat beside me, as he sat beside me I hugged him do you even know how much worried I was, don't you ever dare to cut my call again and pick up my call whenever I call you. I was acting like i was really his wife, and at that moment I looked at Zack and saw into his eyes and mumbled am I in love with you Zack.
