Evil Incarnate: Another Alyx Leonidus!

This internship with All Might has been going great! It was the final day of all of our internships, I was extremely grateful that All Might helped me master using One For All with my Overdrive. I was starting to get the hang of moving around with it, I heard someone land down behind me, I smiled as I saw Dad!

"Dad! I thought you'd be with Mom? Aren't you supposed to be helping Shimoda out with her internship?" I wondered.

"Well, that's where you'd be incorrect, Mabel. I've come to do something better with my time." He smiled.

*THIRD PERSON*

Mabel's eyes widened as she saw Alyx create a blade of Overdrive and charge towards her. She quickly ducked out of the way from his strike, sending him flying into the air with a Delaware Smash.

"All Might! Go get help, please!" Mabel shouted.

All Might reluctantly nodded and took off to find help nearby, Alyx rebounded and brushed himself off.

"Not too bad! I wouldn't expect anything less from my counterpart's daughter!" He smirked.

"What? What in the hell are you talking about?" Mabel questioned.

"You'll know soon enough, mortal. The plans I have for this world are too great for a simple minded fool like you to understand!" Alyx retorted.

Mabel scowled at him before kicking it into high gear, her One For All and Gear Two burst around her, indenting the ground beneath her. She zoomed towards him like a flash of lightning, Alyx dodged out of the way of her right hand strike, Alyx's Overdrive ignited around him as he slammed his fist into Mabel's stomach. She coughed up blood but grit her teeth through the pain, Mabel retaliated with a savage headbutt that made Alyx recoil backwards. She drove her knee into his stomach and Overdrive filled her left arm alongside One For All.

"Overdrive... SMASH!!" She roared.

Mabel drilled her fist into Leonidus' face, sending him crashing down into the ground below. An explosion of Overdrive skyrocketed from where Leonidus landed, he rose back up into the sky as the pillar of Overdrive subsided. Alyx began to clap slowly as he smiled at her.

"Good, good! You're doing quite well, Mabel. Color me impressed, I had my well placed doubts about you, this is getting rather interesting. How long do you think you can fight for? 20 minutes? An hour? An entire day? I haven't even used the full extent of my powers, so don't think you have the upper hand on me." He cackled.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you acting like this, Dad?" Mabel wondered.

"Hmph... You seriously think that I'm your Father? How about I disclose something to you, not that it'll matter, you'll all be kneeling at my feet before you die soon. I was brought here to kill your Father and those other mortals he's befriended." He smirked.

"Like hell you are! I'm not gonna let you fucking destroy my world, you've got that?!" Mabel raged.

Suddenly, flames shot out and hit Alyx, it enveloped his entire body, Mabel looked down and smiled.

"S-Shoto!" She exclaimed.

The flames burst outwards, the huge gust of wind caught Mabel off guard and it sent her down to the ground. She landed in Shoto's arms as the fire around Alyx finally extinguished.

"Ah, Shoto Todoroki, you were quite troublesome in my dimension. You were the only person that I didn't enjoy killing. I wonder... How different is this mundane Earth compared to mine?" Alyx grinned.

"Shut the fuck up, will you? Whoever the hell you are, you aren't my Dad, not one bit!" Mabel fumed.

"I'm not your Father? I was NEVER your Father to begin with, fool! This power I wield is greater than any bond conceivable, this power is what true justice really is, and for you to stand in my way... That makes you evil. It sickens me that I share the same ability as you, Mabel Leonidus. This world of joy and peace is only just a mirage, as long as people like you run the world, there truly never will be peace." Leonidus replied.

A vortex opened up behind him, "It seems as if our time is up. Do not fret, I will see you soon, very soon."

Mabel shot out her Nebla Rain attack at Alyx but he faded into the vortex, hitting nothing but the open sky.

*MABEL'S P.O.V.*

"Thanks... Shoto." I spoke quietly.

"Oh, no problem." He nodded.

The police soon arrived, Shoto explained the situation to them, thankfully laws have changed since they were kids. I wasn't going to be fined since I didn't throw the first punch, I was defending myself which made it understandable to use my Quirk. All Might ended the internship early and made a call to my Mom and Dad about what just happened. This was all just so surreal, how could something like this even be possible?

[Three Hours Later...]

I watched the news as Dad addressed the situation that happened earlier today alongside the other Symbols of Peace. He seemed rather confident in the situation but I wasn't feeling the same at all. Being that I didn't have my Hero License yet, there was only so much that I could do to help out, not to mention the other restrictions and laws. Both Mom and Dad came home shortly after with Ashi in tow, they also brought home dinner as well.

"My goodness, you had us worried sick, Mabel!" Mom fretted as she hugged me.

We sat down at the dinner table, I wasn't really hungry, not after everything that the other version of my Dad told me. Ashi was the first one to be done, like normal, he thanked Mom and Dad before going up to his room.

"Dad, Mom..." I finally spoke up.

"Hm? What is it, Mabel?" Dad answered.

I looked up at the both of them, "Why don't heroes ever kill villains? Why do we have to constantly play a trivial game of Cat & Mouse with them? Wouldn't it be easier in the long run if we just got rid of them?"

I don't think Dad or Mom expected to hear me ask that, given the expressions on their faces. I wasn't entirely sure if they had an answer for me, neither would I blame them, I didn't have an answer myself.

"Well... I guess it would be because of the image that would reflect on the public. There was a situation that was broadcasted about a Pro Hero killing a Villain a long time ago, back when your Father and I were Third-Years at U.A. It wasn't exactly received well by the people of Japan." Mom explained.

"Why would that matter? People would be kept safe and you wouldn't have to worry about crime anymore." I argued.

"That's what I first thought as well," Dad chimed in, "But no matter what you do, there will ALWAYS be a villain. This world isn't completely filled with pure-hearted people, Mabel. Someone somewhere is inspired by the acts of a villain, so they'll copy and imitate them, which spreads onto more people. The same goes for Pro Heroes, there will always be a hero. Trying to kill every villain on the face of this planet is a task that nobody can accomplish, it's only something that people wish could happen."

"I would have to agree, the ideology your Father had is exactly like what you're thinking." Mom added.

I looked back down at the table, it sank into my mind as I thought about it. I guess there wasn't any sort of way to kill villains, in a sense.

"Okay, I understand now. I think what that guy told me got into my head." I nodded.

Dad looked at Mom then looked back at me, "Off topic, I never realized just how tall your Mother is, holy fuck."

"Darling... Every time we get into something serious, must you come up with some ridiculous like that?" Mom wondered.

"Fuck!" We heard Ashi giggle.

Dad was trying not to laugh while Mom just stared at him, "Ashi Shun Leonidus! Watch your mouth young man!"

"S-Sorry Mama, wait... Is that a no-no word?" Ashi lamented.

"Indeed it is a no-no word, Ashi!" Mom agreed.

Ashi started to tear up, it wasn't because he was in trouble or anything, he has this weird habit of getting upset at himself if he does something bad. In his words he "wants to be a good guy like Papa and Uncle Kiri", I guess he figures that cussing wouldn't make him like them? Mom picked him up and he plopped his chin on her shoulder.

"Just don't say words like that again, capisce?" She told him.

"Kapeach..." Ashi softly sniffled.

"You know, now that I'm thinking about it, Ashi does kinda remind me of me when I was his age!" Dad chuckled.

Mom turned her head towards him, "Hm? Is that so? I was starting to think the same thing."

"Have you told Mom about that, Dad?" I questioned.

"Oh, no, sweetheart. I had the fortune of dealing with him due to a Quirk that made him revert to about the same age as Ashi during our Third-Year at U.A. He referred to my-" Mom tried to elaborate.

"To-Go Pillows." Dad and Ashi monotoned.

Mom looked at Dad while I looked at Ashi, their faces were both stern at blank.

"...Riiiight. Well, Mabel, that's pretty much the story on that situation." Mom continued.

It's safe to say that we'll have quite the interesting time now that there's an evil version of Dad running around. In all honesty, it really did scare me, how was I suppose to defend myself against someone like him? Was he as strong as my Dad and if so, would Dad even be able to stop him?

[The Next Day...]

I woke up to the usual smell of Dad's morning coffee, I walked down stairs groggily as I wiped my eyes.

"G'morning." I mumbled.

"It would be if my gnomes weren't stolen." Dad replied.

I looked outside and saw that the legion of garden gnomes were gone. Mom came downstairs unusually bright and cheery.

"Ah, what a wonderful morning, hello my love! Did you sleep well last night?" Mom chirped.

She gave him a kiss on his cheek and hugged him from behind, "Momo... You got rid of the gnomes, didn't you?"

"Whaaat? The gnomes are gone? What happened to them?" Mom feigned confusion.

She took a look outside and gasped, "Oh my goodness, they're gone! Well that's just terrible, my dear. Whatever will we do now?"

"First you take my school years away from me, then you take my gnomes, next thing you know I'll be buried six feet under the headquarters. Maybe happiness isn't in my life anymore." Dad remarked.

"Huh? Taking away your school years, what do you mean by that?" I wondered.

"Oh, he's just referring to when we started dating, it was sarcasm my dear. Could you see if Ashi is awake?" Mom replied.

[Several Hours Later...]

*THIRD PERSON*

Out on patrol, Alyx stood atop a building that overlooked the city of Musutafu, his eyes gazed upon the hill that U.A. sat. The events that transpired several days earlier playing on rewind in his mind.

"Hey..." Momo spoke up.

Alyx looked to his left as she stood there, he returned his gaze back to U.A. His cape flowed in the wind behind him, for a brief second, it looked as if Leonidus from his First-Year at U.A. was standing next to him.

"He's not there anymore, I'm assuming you heard?" Alyx told her.

"Yeah, I did. They're looking for a suitable replacement, I'm sure they'll find one, it shouldn't be that hard." She confirmed.

Alyx stood there silently as Momo waited for him to respond. She lowered her eyebrows as a concerned look fell on her face. She walked forward and stood next to Alyx, she held his hand as they looked out towards U.A. together.

"I could've killed all of you, without even sparing a second thought, I had a plan written out and everything." Leonidus informed her.

Momo let out a small, surprised gasp, "...Y-You did? Was it because of..."

"Yes, it was. I had written down all of your weaknesses and kept them in that journal I got during Christmas when we were First-Years. The other pages inside described the other version of myself, all of which he had experienced only one thing similar before some sort of mental snap or downfall. Those tests that U.A. did to me, he killed Midnight and the others, then he killed the rest of you. I could've followed that same path if I hadn't met Tanjiro and Nezuko. I had all the power in the world to do it." Alyx continued.

Alyx looked at his wife, "I could've gone through with being the monster you all were unintentionally shaping me to be as, but I refused to, I had a strong Quirk that could keep people safe from people like them. I hate to say it but... People like you were. I know none of it was your fault but looking back on it now, my life would've been so much better if it would've been stopped. How different would I have been if none of that continued, would I have even thought negatively about myself?"

Momo looked down at the ground as she began to tear up, "I... I'm so sorry, Alyx. This is all my fault, isn't it?"

"A fifth, not all, Momo. You don't have the full responsibility of carrying the burden, but I can't say that it wasn't completely your fault. I've been wanting to get this off my chest for quite sometime, but down in the deepest depths of my soul, locked behind hundreds and thousands of doors, I hate all of you. When I was recovering in the Seventh Plane, all of that negativity that the host absorbed could've easily unlocked all of them. When I said I forgave you in the Wisteria Forest, I never 'said' it, the host did. In a sense, you were living with a lie much like I had been." He reassured.

Alyx closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he thought about what could've been if those experiments never happened. He grabbed Momo and started to fly towards U.A.

"Where are we going?" Momo questioned.

"I'm going to show you the truth." Alyx answered.

They took off towards Gym Gamma, after a few seconds, they landed down in front of the steel gym doors. Momo followed Alyx inside and she finally got a glimpse at what exactly Nezu used for his "research". Old blood stained the reclining chair that Alyx had sat in many years prior. The recently destroyed equipment had been charred by blue and white Overdrive, small glowing remnants still were burning brightly as the machines gathered dust. Alyx took the top of his hero costume off and set it on the recliner.

"Well, here it is, something I've been hiding from all of you this entire time. I know you won't judge me, Momo." Alyx sighed.

He turned around to face her with his arms out, "Alyx, I'm not quite sure what you're doing. Is there-"

While facing away from her, Alyx swiped his hand down his face, revealing various small scars and a skin graft where the burn mark on the right side of his face was. Skin grafts appeared on the right side of his neck all the way down to his elbow. A huge scar resided on the lower left side of his torso, alongside various other scars that were on his arms and chest. Evidence of repeated torn and healed muscles were present on his arms and shoulders. His right eye was a pale blue, much lighter than the dark ocean blue his left eye was. Alyx's shoulders and half of the middle portion of his back were covered in skin grafts as well.

Alyx turned around to face Momo, she slightly tensed up as she saw him, not expecting to see what he was hiding from her. She slowly put her hand over her mouth as her widened eyes began to fill with tears.

"Everything that you've seen... It's been a lie. I've been hiding these for years thanks to the very Quirk that gave me these scars, it's something that I've been thinking about coming out to the public with, although I doubt I'll be looked at the same way ever again if I do. I've had to live with these in private for the past 15 years of my life, but now you know... This is what I've been keeping from you this entire time. I know you'll think of me differently, although you won't judge me out loud, but that's fine either way. As long as you did what you've done when we were in school, then that's all I care about." Alyx confessed.

Momo hurried over to Alyx and held him close to her, it sounded as if he had no heartbeat whatsoever, almost as if he's been dead for the past 15 years as well.

"I made a promise to you when we read our vows, those are sacred to me, I wouldn't ever lie about that. It would be idiotic to look at you any differently than what I've always looked at you as. You're the person I strived to be when we were training to be Pros, remember what I told you when we were at the ski lodge during our Third-Year? I meant that too, I'm so sorry that everything I've said was a lie, Alyx. Our relationship shouldn't have been based on some goddamn dumbass experiments. This shouldn't have happened to you, none of this..." Momo sniffled.

"That's all I ever wanted to hear from you, Momo. That's the answer I've been waiting for since this all started." Alyx spoke softly.

The two sat there in silence and held each other for a moment. Alyx sighed as he looked towards the gym doors.

"They have to know though, I don't think it would be right for me to not tell them first." Alyx told her.

[Two Hours Later...]

*MABEL'S P.O.V.*

I woke up from an accidental nap I took on the couch, I'm not sure what it is about this thing, but it's super comfortable! The front door slowly opened and Mom walked inside the house.

"Oh, you're home... Early? Was there not much to do?" I asked.

"No, dear it's... It's something else." Mom replied.

I stood up with Ashi with confusion on my face, was there something wrong? Ashi sniffled a bit before opening his eyes.

"Mama..." He whispered.

A small, tired smile appeared on his face before reaching his little arms out towards her. Mom took Ashi from me, as she did, the door opened again and...

"Dojyaaan." Dad weakly smiled.

He looked so... I wasn't sure what word I could honestly use, what happened to him? I wasn't sure what to even say, all I could really do is stare in awe. I walked forward and looked at Dad's right arm, why would he be hiding something like this from us?

"If you're wondering, this doesn't change my perspective of you, Dad. You could be a talking brain for all I care." I spoke up.

Ashi hopped down from Mom and quickly waddled his way over to Dad, he held his hand as Dad knelt down next to him.

"Uh huh! Papa will always be Papa, even if you were a big, scary monster, I wouldn't be afraid of you! Oh, did you color your face like that?" Ashi smiled.

Dad softly smiled as he hugged the both of us, "Thank you... I knew you would say that. I guess it's about time we told you the truth."

The truth? I guess I was curious as to what happened to Dad and why he looked like this. Something like this... It had to have been from some sort of villain, I couldn't imagine from what, however.
