Alyx Leonidus Rising! (Part Three of Three)

Sheyenne, Karson, and Joshua stopped in their tracks as they heard Quartz's shrill cry coming from a nearby room. They ran towards where they heard the scream, in front of them were four doors, their handles were misshaped and contorted.

"Shit, which one do we choose? It could be any of these doors! Not to mention we're gonna have to search each of these rooms for them too." Sheyenne fretted.

"Uh... W-Well... Maybe it's this third one?" Joshua guessed.

"I'm getting some weird vibes from this fourth door though. It definitely looks like a door that some screaming weirdo would be behind." Karson chimed in.

Sheyenne's eyes narrowed, "The doors look the same, idiota. How can you tell if the doors all look the same?"

"My bear senses, duh! How else do you think I know?" Karson gloated.

"Just open the damn door." Sheyenne sighed.

Karson nodded and opened the door. Meanwhile, Alyx and Mikey stood off against the approaching Quartz.

"So, what now? Got any bright ideas?" Mikey questioned.

"We're gonna have to take this guy down together. That much I can tell you." Alyx responded.

Mikey looked at Alyx then back towards Quartz, "Fine, just don't get in my way, got it?"

"Right, let's go!" Alyx nodded.

The two charged towards Quartz, throwing rapid strikes at him, Quartz blocked and countered them as they soared across the landscape. They eventually overwhelmed him as their strikes were uncoordinated, he wasn't able to get a read on their next move! The two uppercut Quartz at the same time, causing him to reel his head back, Alyx quickly jumped up and threw a kick to Quartz's head. Mikey added a huge ball of light that exploded violently! Alyx appeared behind Quartz as he flew backwards, he placed his hands on his back and they began to shine brightly. A huge wave of Overdrive blasted Quartz into the air, Mikey darted into the air after Quartz. He dodged Quartz's elongated arm as he tried to grab Mikey out of the air.

"That won't trip me up so easily, fool!" Mikey retorted.

Mikey grabbed Quartz's arm and swung him around, gaining momentum after each swing. Leonidus quickly flew into the air and delivered an Overdrive Fist to Quartz right as Mikey reached his top swinging speed. His punch sent Quartz burrowing through the ground below, Mikey and Alyx fired off blasts of their Quirk towards him as he flew away from them. Quartz burst out of the ground and darted towards the two, he punched both of them in the stomach, Mikey and Leonidus grit their teeth through the pain and responded with a powerful combination punch! Mikey quickly stepped forward with both of his hands out towards Quartz's face.

"We'll see how you like this, asshole!" Mikey smirked.

He flashed blinding light in Quartz's eyes, temporarily stunning him. Mikey and Alyx hopped backwards, both charging up their respective attacks, Leonidus' Overdrive fiercely ignited as he charged up his attack. Quartz's vision finally returned to him but at a moment too late!

"We're gonna turn you into dust, Quartz!" Alyx shouted.

The two put their hands out in front of them, "HAAAA!!"

Their combined blast attack rammed right into Quartz. The duo's eyes widened as they saw that Quartz was somehow holding their attack back! Mikey scowled and amped up his power, but Quartz still was holding it back.

"Any other bright ideas?! This guy just won't fucking quit!" Mikey shouted.

"Yeah! I've got one that comes to mind! Get ready!" Leonidus grinned.

A rose-gold aura exploded on top of Alyx's Overdrive, "BOOST FIRE... TIMES 60!!"

The beam grew larger and completely washed over Quartz! He tried to guard himself but was inevitably blown away by the force of the blast. His shrill cry was heard as the blast impacted against the large tree in the middle of the room. A huge mushroom cloud rose up after a gigantic explosion. The two stood there with there hands still in front of them, panting heavily as steam came from their palms. Alyx fell to one knee as Mikey sat down on the ground.

"I-Is it over? Is he gone?" Alyx wondered.

"Alyx! Mikey!" Karson shouted to them.

Alyx and Mikey turned around, Alyx smiled widely as he saw Karson, Joshua, and Sheyenne run over to them. Sheyenne helped Alyx up to his feet as Mikey was helped by Karson.

"Are you alright? You seriously need to take better care of yourself." Sheyenne fretted.

"Y-Yeah... I'm alright. Are you guys okay?" Alyx replied.

"We're alright, Joshua ran into a villain, I'm assuming you two did the same as well." She answered.

Alyx looked over towards Mikey, "Yeah, we ran into quite the character. He really-"

A loud explosion caught everyone's attention as smoke filled the area where Quartz was. The smoke quickly cleared and revealed a giant Quartz! His roar shook the entire room, everyone's eyes widened with shock. He jumped into the air and came crashing down in the middle of the group. Alyx looked over and saw a huge piece of debris coming straight towards Sheyenne.

"Sheyenne!" He shouted.

He shifted his weight and tackled her before the piece of debris could hit her. Joshua sliced through falling debris as it rained down on them. As they landed on the ground, Quartz slowly turned around and grinned at them. He slowly stomped his way towards them, relishing in the fear on each of their faces.

"What now? We can't take him head on anymore!" Mikey asked.

"Grab onto my shoulder, quick!" Alyx shouted.

Right as Quartz darted towards them, everyone grabbed onto Leonidus' shoulders. They phased out of the room before Quartz's fist came crashing into the ground. They appeared in a place that was nothing but a white void. Amatsu Mikaboshi looked behind him with an eyebrow raised.

"Alyx? What are you all doing here? Why are you battered?" He questioned.

"It's a long story, listen, I might need your help. Do you think we can do Spirit Fusion again?" Alyx replied.

"I'm afraid not, Alyx. Whatever space you all are in I cannot enter, there some sort of aura in that location that will harm me if I proceed with all of you. I'm sure if we combined together both of us would die." Mikaboshi shook his head.

Mikey lowered his eyebrow, "Wait, who is this guy? Spirit Fusion? What in the hell are you talking about?"

"Oh, this is Amatsu Mikaboshi! He's an evil spirit that's been ordered to possess me thanks to my mean ole' bitch of a Grandmother! We're really good friends now though! Spirit Fusion basically allows us to combine our minds, body, and power into one being!" Alyx smiled.

They all blinked a few times and had faces of pure awe. Mikaboshi nodded with Alyx's statement to let them now they aren't crazy.

"So... If he can't help us, what do we do now? With that thing being that massive I doubt we'll be able to hurt it." Joshua chimed in.

"I might have an idea... I might get killed but I think she'll be able to help us!" Alyx answered.

[5 Minutes Later...]

After contacting his sister, Annie Leonidus, she slowly made her way into the Seventh Plane. Her eyes narrowed with annoyance and anger as she laid her eyes on Alyx.

"Annie! There you are!" Leonidus bubbled.

He gave her a hug, "Sooooo, I've got a favor to ask you! We're needing help fighting this now turned giant regenerating monster with the ability to shoot crystal shards and elongate it's body so we were wondering if you could help us!"

"So, all of you run off by yourselves, find a villain's base, fight said villains, and are now wanting my help because there's a villain who's now a giant monster capable of causing mass chaos in town if it gets out?"

"Yes." They all responded.

"And why can't you help 'em?" Annie asked Mikaboshi.

"There seems to be a barrier surrounding the villain's base that is preventing me from entering. I won't be of use in this situation, I'm afraid, my apologies." Mikaboshi explained.

Annie crossed her arms and looked to the side, "Hmm... How are we gonna get out of this? Where exactly are you guys at?"

"North from here, you know, that huge tower in the middle of the fucking Mojave." Mikey answered.

"Tower in the middle of the Mojave? There's a tower there?" Annie puzzled.

Everyone looked at Joshua who was darting his eyes around at everyone else.

"Why the hell are you guys looking at me like I've done something wrong?" Joshua questioned.

"Anyways... Yeah, a huge tower in the Mojave. We were... I'll tell you later. I'm assuming you want us to hold that thing off until you get reinforcement, right?" Alyx chimed in.

Annie nodded at him, "Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking. Don't get carried away either, okay? It's only a distraction, you don't need to go all out, neither do you need to try and take him down yourselves. It'll only take us about 15 minutes."

"Right, got it! We'll see you on the other side!" Alyx nodded back.

Annie faded out of the Seventh Plane as everyone grabbed onto Leonidus' shoulders. They reappeared in the spot that Quartz had thrown his fist into. They noticed that he was taking a nap next to the giant tree.

"As peaceful as he might look, he's filled with nothing but evil, I could still smell it even in the Plane." Alyx whispered.

"Why don't we just wait it out here? 15 minutes of silence would be great. As soon as he makes a move, that's when we strike." Sheyenne whispered back.

Leonidus nodded in agreement and they all quietly laid down on the ground. Alyx stared up at the room's nonexistent ceiling. Sheyenne rolled over to him with her cheeks puffed out.

"Hey... Heeeey." She whispered.

"Hm?" Leonidus uttered.

"You're doing great, I'm certain that Laura would be proud of you." Sheyenne smiled.

Alyx smiled back at her, he sat up and looked at Quartz, he lowered his eyebrows slightly out of regret.

"𝘏𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭... 𝘞𝘩𝘺? 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦?" Leonidus thought.

Loud booms were heard in the distance, Quartz slowly woke up which caused the group to stand up.

"Get ready, he's getting up!" Mikey shouted.

The wall behind the quintuplet heroes burst open, Annie Leonidus, Darren Leonidus, and Marie Leonidus emerged from the hole in the wall! Alyx smiled with delight at them then turned his attention back towards Quartz. Alyx charged up to Gear Two as light filled Mikey's hands.

"Josh, Shey, Karson, work on the bottom, we've got the top half!" Alyx instructed.

The Leonidus' and Mikey charged up towards Quartz. Marie launched a Rage arm that slashed at Quartz's face. Annie and Alyx slammed their fists into Quartz's stomach as Darren delivered a huge uppercut that rattled the entire room! Mikey placed his hands together and fired off a beam of light into Quartz's face. Sheyenne and Joshua slashed at Quartz's huge legs as Karson beat down on Quartz's right leg. Quartz fell backwards with a loud boom as the ground beneath him cracked and crumbled. Alyx jumped into the air with his hands raised up high.

"Keep him busy, alright? This'll take me some time!" Alyx shouted down to them.

"Yeah yeah, just charge that goddamn attack up, Leonidus!" Mikey shouted back.

Alyx closed his eyes and begun to concentrate a huge amount of Overdrive above his hands. Mikey charged up and light burst around him, his eyes turned a bright gold as his hair flowed alongside his aura. Quartz looked up as he shrunk back down to size, Mikey smirked at him as Quartz's eyes widened.

"You're dealing with me now! Prepare yourself, this is Heavenly Light, the last thing you'll ever see!" Mikey yelled.

He darted down and drove Quartz's head into the ground. Marie sent two Rage arms down into him, holding Quartz down. Mikey, Joshua, Karson, Sheyenne and Annie all helped Marie hold down Quartz as Darren flew up to his son. He placed his hands into the air and added onto the Overdrive that Alyx was creating. It grew to gigantic proportions!

"MIKEY, MOVE!" Darren ordered.

Mikey rolled his eyes as he knew exactly why only he had to move. Mikey quickly flew away as Darren and Alyx threw down the Overdrive Bomb. Quartz's eyes widened as the attack drew closer and closer to him.

"Shit." Quartz squeaked.

It slammed right into Quartz, it incinerated him as it drove him further into the ground. The Overdrive Bomb exploded into a bright blue mushroom cloud, then suddenly, the room around them disappeared. They all were sitting outside of the tower!

"Huh? What the? How did we...?" Annie wondered.

The tower slowly crumbled down as disintegrated right before their eyes. Marie stomped over to Alyx, using a Rage arm, grabbed his ear and scowled.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOUNG MAN?! YOU AND YOUR BATCH OF FRIENDS DECIDED TO SNEAK OUT TO DO WHAT? GET YOURSELVES KILLED?!" She roared.

"O-Owch! I-I was trying to-" Alyx stopped himself.

He stopped holding onto his Mother's Rage arm, he looked down at the ground and sighed. Marie set her son down on the ground as he turned to look at his parents.

"We... I was going to kill Black-Heart." He admitted.

"You were what? Alyx, what were you thinking? Is that really why you took up training with Ms. America?" Darren asked.

"I just wanted to be like you guys! That sick bastard... I wanted to make him pay for what he did to Laura. But if I couldn't beat someone like that by myself, then how am I even suppose to face him?" Leonidus continued.

"You shouldn't be so hard on yourself." Mikey spoke up.

Everyone looked at him as he had his back turned towards everyone, "That's why I'm better than you. You're so reluctant to use the full power of your Quirk, not to mention the fact that you'd rather face your opponents at their full strength. If you actually put your mind to it, your battles would be much easier fought than what they are now. You've got combat prowess out the ass, Leonidus, actually use it and you'll go far."

Alyx looked shocked at Mikey's sudden words of encouragement. He slightly smiled as he looked down at the ground.

"Thank you, Mikey." He softly whispered.

Shortly, more heroes arrived to assess the situation. Alyx, Mikey, Joshua, Karson, and Sheyenne all sat down together and stared out towards the horizon.

"Hey, guys, I... I guess I should tell you this but I wanted to remind you that I'm moving to Japan next month." Alyx told them.

"Yeah, we're gonna miss you man. Isn't it to head to U.A. High? Weren't you recommended?" Joshua replied.

"Yep! All Might himself actually recommended me alongside my parents and Ms. America. I guess being that they were Pro Heroes at one point they had some say in the matter. But there's one thing I want you guys to do... Joshua, Karson, Sheyenne, I want you to always remember what we've done. Whether I'm here or thousands of miles away, I want you to always be as if I was there too. And Mikey... Keep on getting stronger, because if I do forget things, I want you to try to kill me." He nodded.

"Y-You what?" Mikey responded.

"Not literally, but I want you to show me how strong you've always been! So, if we do meet again, I want to fight you at 100%, no holding back! There's some things that I might forget soon, but I don't want to forget any of you or that! Just don't actually kill me, okay?" Alyx smiled.

Mikey shook his head, slightly smiled, and looked away, "Hmph, you know, it's gonna be real boring without you, Alyx. I promise you I'll get stronger so I can kick your ass. If you expect me to do that, then I expect the same."

"Got it, I won't hold back either, and I'll try not to kill you. I'm sure Laura would... Yeah, Laura would want that for the both of us." Alyx softly spoke.

Leonidus and Mikey stared towards the sunset as Joshua, Sheyenne, and Karson got up to talk to the Pro Heroes.

"You're a good friend, Mikey, you know that?" Alyx smiled.

"Friend? I never thought that would've come out of your mouth, Leonidus." Mikey chuckled.

"Yeah, me neither!" Alyx laughed back.

Laura's silhouette appeared behind the two of them, embracing both of the boys in a warm hug. After everything was said and done, the Pro Heroes had arrested the remaining guards that were scattered about the Mojave, Leonidus and Mikey had their wounds from their fierce battle with Quartz treated.

"Are you really going to forget everything soon?" Sheyenne fretted.

"I don't know, the medicine I've been taking feels like it's working, but at the same time I don't feel any better. Not to mention we've tried healing it with my Dad's Overdrive but that doesn't work either. They even fully healed me up when I got my scar, the scar didn't go away as well. I guess we'll just have to see." Alyx answered.

Sheyenne nodded and looked out of the car window. The next morning, Ms. America met with the Leonidus Family at their home.

"So, you're worried about him losing his memory? Sometimes, people don't exactly remember how to use their Quirks when that happens, but I wouldn't be worried." Ms. America told them.

"Isn't it the least bit concerning though? What if he wakes up one day and freaks out because he doesn't know where he is? We can't do anything about it!" Marie replied.

"M-Mom..." Alyx spoke up.

Ms. America chuckled and shook her head, "Marie, it'll be okay. He's in good hands, trust me, I should know! Him having two parents and a family like you guys already puts you at an advantage. Not only that, there's something special about him that I can't place my finger on. That burning flame of hope that not most people have, that's what I think."

Ms. America leaned forward and held both of Alyx's hands while having a bright smile on her face.

"Alyx," Ms. America continued, "Whatever may happen in the future, I know you'll find the right path to be on. You have my fullest belief and faith. There's one thing for certain that I think all of us in this room know for sure. Even you know, deep down in your heart and soul, for what I'm going to say is most definitely true."

"Oh? What exactly would that be, Angelina?" Annie asked.

"Isn't it obvious? You, Alyx Leonidus, can become a hero! You've improved so much over the course of just a month, and I couldn't be anymore proud of you. I wholeheartedly believe in you, Alyx Leonidus, that you can do anything you set your mind to. Wherever life may take you, I hope that it treats you with the upmost kindness, or it guides you along the right path." She beamed.

Those words would shape Alyx Leonidus' outlook on becoming a hero from then on out. He nodded firmly with a look of determination written on his face.

"Thank you, I won't let you down, I promise! I'll do whatever it takes to become the greatest hero I can be!" Alyx grinned.

"Ha ha! There's that new found spirit, you remind me of All Might, you know that? Keep it up, Leonidus, you'll go far." Ms. America smiled.

The family conversed with Ms. America some more about their plans to move to Japan. Meanwhile, sitting in a bar by his lonesome was a man with light blue, unkempt hair. He swirled around a glass of gin as the barkeep stood silently, he looked up towards a screen a few feet away from him.

"So... Father... What can you tell me about this 'Alyx Leonidus' kid?" He asked.

"Ah, the Leonidus family? Why do you ask, Tomura?" The screen responded.

"His Quirk is rather... Unique. If we could somehow get him on our side, get him to see our vision, that would be... Well... Let's just say rather beneficial." Tomura replied.

A portal opened up in the middle of the bar causing Tomura to look behind him. A woman stepped through with a smile on her face.

"Did you happen to say Alyx Leonidus?" She wondered.

"And who the hell are you? Kurogiri, did you bring her here?" Tomura slightly scowled.

"No, I did not, sir." Kurogiri answered.

The woman sat down next to him, "I'm Daniela Leonidus, I'm sure you and I will be great friends. What would you like to know?"
