The next morning new addition showed up and knocked on the door. I tried not to make a sound but unfortunately he had seen me and he made that very clear. I kept the chain as I opened the door. He spoke conspiracy style, "Wanna go to the beach and party?" I shook my head, "I am Agoraphobic. I have a fear of going outside. I had an incident and left me with a crippling fear of the outdoors." I tried to close the door but he held the door firmly. He asked if he could come in. I explain the stranger are not allowed in the house rule. He chuckled, "I promise I will be a gentleman. I won't cross the line. If I do anything out of the line just say the word and I will leave." He kept begging till I finally let him in. He saw the place looked mostly empty, "What's up with this?" I blushed, "My mom was a hoarder so I embraced the Minimalist lifestyle." He asked me who else lives here. I pointed at the door and he raised his hands to say sorry. I rolled my eyes and reached the living room. His jaw fell to his hand when he saw the huge TV. Before he had any ideas I made it clear he can't come here to watch sports. This TV is here so I can watch movies. I painstakingly convinced the service provider to remove every sports channel and I paid him a little extra to do it. This seemed to annoyed him and I reminded him this ain't his grandma's house. He shrugged, "Whatever" He sat on the couch and looked around. He saw the painting I was working on and he looked shocked. He had so many questions I answered most of them the rest I left ambiguous. He wanted to ask more when the maid arrived. He looked at me, "Your house comes with help? Do you have a personal chef?" I chose not to answer his question. The maid cooked lunch and made preparations for dinner. Which means all I do is put it in the oven and wait till the timer goes off. She made sure I ate before she did the rest of her chores. She placed clean sheets, vacuumed and mopped the floor. She even cleaned the bathroom. She wished me a wonderful day as she left. I gave her the grocery list as dad instructed. She promised to return tomorrow with these. He watched the entire time as I got from one place to the other in my wheelchair. He had this weird look so I made it clear that if he brings his friends I will call the police. I like the peace that existed till he arrived here. He raised his hands and said nothing further. He saw the armchair and he gawked, "Who sits there?" I got in front of him, "That is where my dad sits when he gets here. No one else is allowed to sit there." He sat back down on the couch and ask me if he could use the bathroom. I showed him the one across the hall. He was going to ask me something when he saw how I go from floor to floor. He was shocked that my house came with an elevator and his house didn't have one. He looked at me with envy. I gave him the angry eyes. He raised his hands and did his business. His cellphone rang and he left. I quickly locked the door behind him. I made sure every lock was utilized. I went back to painting landscapes again. A few minutes later he came back this time he had company. I ignored him and continued painting. But it reached the point where it became an annoyance so I explained that I am a recluse. I don't want strangers in my house stirring up trouble. His friend rudely asked if he could watch football at my house and I told him my dad didn't buy me that TV for his entertainment. He said a bad language word so I dialed 911. They both left the property immediately.
