More scheming than he thought
The next morning, Wan Jia saw her husband and brother-in-law off. Before they boarded, Lu Aotian received a call from Lu Enterprises.
"Is everything alright?" Wan Jia asked when he suddenly looked distressed.
"No. One of the old partners barged into the company, demanding for a meeting. He claims it's urgent."
"You just go ahead. I'll meet him on your behalf." She kissed his cheek and left.
"Thank you." He said after her. Even the heavens were helping them. He was wondering how to get her to leave but this happened at the right time. He was going to ask his father to deal with that person but Wan Jia could as well handle him.
When she left, Xia Rou appeared,her face covered in a scarf.
