Percy didn't fail to notice how Tiara had just casually walked out of the Dramon's mouth like it was nothing. What had exactly happened when he was asleep? He looked up at her smiling face and her outstretched hands.
"Get up, we need to take it back to its home."
Percy snatched his arm away from hers and got up on his own. "That monster needs to be killed!"
Tiara shook her head, "Let's just leave this one alone, Percy. It's just a baby."
He frowned and glared at Tiara. "You haven't changed… and I thought you did. But you're the same, even after I died!"
The hope in Tiara's eyes shattered like glass at those words. "Percy, I know what it's like to just live without a home. You had one, you are lucky. But I don't want this creature, monster or not, it's a living being. Let's take it back home. Everything else can come later."
