Mo Hai is her name, and she enlisted in the military to train to be an officer. Her first mission, however, sent her tumbling into a strange dimension where she encountered five beastmen whose presence would change her life forever.
While on a mission to scout the area in the middle of a swamp for any potential threats, Mo Hai screamed in frustration as her team waited for the signal. She hated that she had just fallen from the sky.
She closed her eyes as she waited for impact because the ground suddenly began to sink beneath her, but instead she felt the pressure of the fall and the wind in her face.
But when she opened her eyes, she wasn't expecting to see a gorgeous jungle beneath her that appeared to be a paradise unspoiled by man. Rather than slamming into the ground, she gently touched the ground with her toes buried in the dirt, but that was nothing in comparison to the weight that immediately pushed her to the ground.
Mo Hai's chest began to suffer from this pressure, and before she could find any relief, a gigantic chicken chased her until she climbed up onto a big rock.
The bird squawked and attempted to attack her with its beak, but suddenly something black and fuzzy swooped by and snatched the chicken with its jaws.
...a black panther?
No—a black jaguar, then?
She had never seen one before, but she decided not to admire it because she might end up getting mauled to death. Instead, it is sitting in front of her and simply staring at her; it has no intention of attacking her, but it does lay the chicken down in front of her as an offering.
As she eyed it, her heart began to race as she wondered if she moved just an inch, her neck would be slashed. Would it pounce on her if she remained here too long?
She climbed down from the rock cautiously and slowly, with some apprehension, while the Black Panther licked its paws in satisfaction as it watched her.
She averted her attention to the ground as she gently walked near the chicken because she could sense it watching her as soon as her feet touched the jungle floor and she was unable to even look at the animal in front of her properly.
She can't deny how hungry she is after this entire incident, and the air around her suddenly smells like freshly drawn chicken blood.
She cautiously collects the dead bird while kneeling in front of it; however, a wild animal who has the ability to instantly kill her gave her a pat on the head instead of rolling it off.
